We got an assortment of spring cupcakes for the office and they were a HIT! I am so grateful for how kind and sweet Devin was when helping me pick out flavors-- they even reminded me to try and get a gluten free option which I almost forgot to do! All cupcakes were deliciously filled with flavor, not too sweet, and felt like eating a luxury for a great price! Their buttercream is divine. The texture is so luciously buttery without feeling fake. You can tell they use quality ingredients.The shops itself is super easy to get to on the el or the bus. I had no trouble carrying everything to work on my own in their packaging (although my coworker dropped the bag bringing them upstairs...) but everything stayed put together and of course the flavor was not hurt at all!This shop has amazing, extended hours and a really cute interior. I love the mural inside of it I stared as I finished my cup of coffee I bought for myself cause everything smelled so divine I had to get a little treat, too! The Petal Pistachio cookies topped with rose petals are quite delightful - the shortbread base is slightly soft, crumbly and not too sweet. The lattes are below average though - I think the one I got was Rose Pistachio Matcha and it had no hint of any of those ingredients. The woman behind the counter was sweet and helpful but the guy - who wasn't even attending to us but inserting himself in our conversation - looked grumpy and very likely hates his job.

My partner and I were looking for some afternoon sweets around Fishtown. We were entranced by the beautiful side mural and then realized the bakery inside.Food: 5/5We ordered the vegan brownie and the strawberry cream pop tart with a Chai latte. I am not going to lie, all of the desserts were fire. But, my favorite was the pop tart. It is a hearty dessert with a thick flakey crust and a decadent center. The total damage was $17.Service: 5/5They were so nice to our indecisive selves. They just have so many good options! Also, because of my lactose intolerance, they were able to make a oat chai latte. The ambiance is super chill with lots of seating. It was such as nice experience.All in all, I would definitely come back! It is a great cafe and full service bakery. We saw many tiered cakes on display.

Cake life is a solid bakery. You will find something you like since they have so many options with good quality. Some pastries were hit or miss but overall worth stopping by if you're in the area. I don't really like carrot cake but this bakery has the best carrot cake I've ever had. The Bakery is clean and nicely decorated and the staff was nice.

Pros- love their seasonal items! We ordered their maple pecan pie for Thanksgiving and it was magical. I don't think I've ever had pie that tasted that good!- variety of cookies and cupcakes- it's the perfect place to grab a sweet treat and coffee- they have cute accessories in the shop for you to browse while waiting too!- service is quick despite them being almost always busy- love that they open late!- offer indoor seating Cons- limited parking nearby - a bit of a tight space for a cafe (limited indoor seating) so it can feel stuffy when it gets crowded - there are steps leading into the shop so it's definitely not stroller friendly!

Super clean bakery! They have plenty of bakery items to go. The full cakes are limited which makes sense since they go to waste if they are not sold. I recently purchased a chocolate peanut butter cheesecake which was really good. I think $40 is a bit steep in price given that it is not that wide or tall. I asked if they could do piping for me on the cheesecake which they said no. I immediately opened Doordash to order an icing piping tube from Target. The worker then suggested they could do some writing on the the plate of the cheesecake which worked out! I really appreciated the alternative solution.

I got my cake here last year for my birthday. I liked it so much, I decided to get it from here again for my 56th. You can order an advanced custom one ahead of time online. I'm not one for cheesecakes but for some reason their Chocolate Chip Cheesecake was calling me. If you want 'Happy Birthday' written on the cake they will happily do it for you. Lots of birthday candles, cards and merch on display for sale as well. I love how bright and colorful the shop is. Their lattes are amazing here. It's always hard to choose but today I tried their Chocolate Orange Latte and each sip was Mmmm...mmm...mm. I love that the chocolate chips were incorporated into the cheesecake. The bottom chocolate gram tasted like toffee to me. As I took my first bite, I let the creaminess of the cheesecake melt in my mouth. My tongue detected some saltiness and that took it to another level for me. I have my eye on their Creamsicle cake. Curious about this one since it was a popular childhood popsicle for most kids in my generation. Service is excellent.

Delicious pastry. Best cupcake was the coconut cupcake with cream cheese frosting ! S'mores croissant was nice flaky texture with baked chocolate inside! Peanut butter chocolate cupcake was nice, a bit on the heavy side. Raspberry lemon cupcuke was nice and light. Definitely ask what the frosting for each cupcake is they are all different!

Well, decided to stop in and grab some gluten free desserts for a baby shower for ironically a police officer. Couldn't tell you how they tasted because we didn't try them, just look at how we received them. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and that's great, but it was very awkward to walk into this establishment with a Police Officer and see this sign while trying to get some desserts. An attempt was made to engage and ask about their specific concern with police, but couldn't get a word from the counter person. Although, that's a businesses right to post their opinion, be able to have convo about it or flat out say you won't serve us instead of us getting this. Before anyone thinks the box dropped, or slid in the vehicle, it didn't. This was what we were given, which made us skeptical to even eat. Such a shame. Needless to say I won't be back (I'm not even a police officer) and couldn't tell what they tasted like.
