Caffe Portofino

I revisited this restaurant the other day after many years and it was great! Service professional and friendly and the food was delicious. Ordered the cut up steak with champagne risotto and it was amazing. The steak was tasty and soft. The carrot ginger soup was very good too. The only drawback is that the menu prices is very expensive more so than other expensive restaurants.

Great food. Good service. Expensive prices. Good location. Outdoor seating. Nice atmosphere. We had a nice experience here. The only reason why I give 4 stars instead of 5 is because it's pretty expensive. My husband and I went with friends. We did not get an appetizer. I had 1 glass of wine with the red snapper for dinner. My husband had the penne Bolognese. His dish was one of the cheaper ones on the menu at $20 But our bill was $85 before tip! We did not have dessert either. For me, for two dishes, and 1 glass of wine, it's not worth $100. It was really good food, but nothing I couldn't do at home. If it were something I couldn't have cooked at home, then I'd give 5 stars. But, then again, it would have been even more than $100...

Excellent service and food. We went there to celebrate my wife's birthday and had a great time. Recommendations by waiter was absolutely perfect. We will definitely be coming back to this place in the future

My favorite place to go and dine. They treat you like family. The service, food and ambiance are the finest in Miami. Thank you to everyone there for always making my family feel special. BTW...the Osso Bucco is unmatched anywhere in S. FL. The Chilean Sea Bass was spectacular as well.

Hidden gem in a plaza in Pinecrest. Quaint and quiet. The service is impeccable; very attentive and accommodating staff. Food is delicious, sizes are proportionate and decent. Highly recommend and would definitely come back!

My husband and I just tried this restaurant and were pleasantly surprised to find such a great Italian restaurant in our neighborhood. It was very clean, spacious and well appointed. The service was outstanding. The waiters were very attentive and friendly without being pushy or overbearing. They offered delicious suggestions. The food was very, very good and the portions were generous. I found the prices to be quite reasonable. We will definitely be returning in the near future.
