EXCELLENT take out experience and inside was so cute and clean I look forward to coming back and dining in. The crema and little side guac was amazing as were their tortillas??? Ceviche was incredible and a nice serving. The enchiladas were delicious but the chicken was a little large inside/hard to eat but the flavors were great. What a great neighborhood spot and I will be back. Nice staff and I can't say enough good things.

Cozy Woman-Owned business along Washington Ave. It is BYOB and they serve carafes of juices, which is always great. I came on a Saturday morning and there was no wait. Plenty of seating if you want to do a "bottomless" brunch with friends. The staff here are sweet and the music really adds to the vibe

I picked food from here while visiting Philly. Honestly, I didn't get a chance to check the reviews before trying the place but turned out, it was a good choice. The menu clearly marked what's vegan and vegetarian. The rice and beans, and cauliflower tacos were delicious (just tasted similar to the vegan Mexican place near by).

Had never noticed this place before but I'll definitely be a regular now. The food was INCREDIBLE! Everything was fresh with generous portions. The service was lovely - so nice, welcoming, and fast. We had the guacamole and ceviche for appetizers. Then the birria tacos, fajitas, and quesadilla for entrees. Ended with a delicious churro that was perfectly fried with a chocolate dipping sauce. The blood orange margarita mixer was incredible - so much that we had two carafes!

Ynez roughly translates to pure- which is fitting because this place was pure joy. This Mexican restaurant is tucked away and is definitely a hidden gem. The staff were incredibly nice and very friendly. We got the guac to start. They claimed it was award winning and it definitely showed! Came here with a small group and the place was super dead, which is strange because all the food was so good. I got the veggie burrito and it came with fries (Umm yes please) and was really good, but wish they added guac or some sort of sauce bc it leaned a little dry (but flavors were really good). The horchata was a bit too sweet for my liking but a good pairing with the guac/chips. Overall, would definitely stop by here again!

The food I received was tasty and flavorful. I had the half roasted chicken with corn. Both were a real treat as far as taste etc. The food was ordered using a Surplus food app, the value of my meal was to be $15. Of course that didn't happen. The $15 half chicken meal comes with two sides and I only received one. The issue here is surplus food is generally left over this and that. It was only; here's 'this' but we ran out of 'that'. If you're going to use the app as a marketing tool you must be careful to make sure what you do doesn't backfire. For me Cafe Ynez is 6 miles away so I used time and gas to receive less than advertised. I'm not one for games or bait and switch, Time is very important and not to be wasted! So was the food good? Good enough to eat, not return!

Delicious dinner this evening. I had the mahi mahi special, my husband had the Chicken Tinga Burrito and our daughter had the Steak Burrito. Perfection. BYOT and delightful service. Complimentary Churros to finish the meal. Highly recommended!
