Pizza joints are among the toughest restaurants to recommend, because everyone seems to have different expectations. So, if you're the national chain type, you might as well move on and order from your app using this week's digital coupon. If you prefer to patronize mom & pop joints, please read on. Cafe Stefano's offers up an expanded menu of pizza, pasta dishes and appetizers. I ordered two pizzas and a pasta dish (along with an extra side of garlic bread) as a carry out order. The gentleman who took my order was very polite and the order was 100 percent accurate. And everything was hot and ready-to-go upon arrival. Kudos!After a 30 minute drive home, both pizzas remained intact and the single slice I immediately robbed from the box was delicious. I also stole a bite of the Fettuccine Alfredo, though I'm not a fan of the dish, and the pasta was wonderfully al dente. -- Warming up pizza slices the following day produced a pretty good lunch of extremely thin crisp-chewy crust. (If you like cold pizza, I'm sure it's good. Just prepare to use both hands and bring a lot of napkins to the table.) This place bills itself as New York style pizza, and it is -- thin floppy crust and decent-sized foldable slices. The sauce is tangy and the toppings are legit. And yes, these folks understand "extra sauce" when I order it. The single bite of pasta also made quite the impression. Cafe Stefano's is hardly along my regular route, since I live a couple towns over. But it would definitely be on my list of go-to mom & pop pizza joints if I lived closer. As it goes, I'll just have to plan more of my business in this area so that I can stop by for lunch or dinner. ;-)

One of our favorite things is the consistency!!You can always count on great service and even better food! Pizza is the best! Calzone are delicious!!!! Online ordering is simple. Delivery is on time. It's a must try!!

Ordered Stefano's for the first time for take out and we were so impressed! Everything was packaged perfectly in a box for easy carry when I arrived. The very clean might I add dining room was practically empty but the phone was ringing off the hook as I checked out which let me know I was in for a treat. I ordered my daddy the Stefano spaghetti which he absolutely loved. He said it had so much meat and wasn't able to eat it all in one sitting. My mother got the lasagna and she said it was packed with flavor. I opted for the cheese ravioli with a rose sauce and added crawfish tails. My meal was full of crawfish and ravioli more than enough to share with anyone who wanted to taste. Our salads were fresh and I really liked the Italian dressing. We also each got a dessert.... German chocolate cake, Italian cream cake, and cheesecake. We will definitely be ordering Stefano's to-go again.

A tasty pizza find after yoga class with the sweetest owner. This pizza shop, which opens in 1994, offers such delicious pizza with unique toppings. The half Mexicana, half Bianco was what we got. Both toppings were flavorful and had lovely cheese pulls. I even got a nice cup of banana peppers on the side! I peaked at the calzone and it was gigantic! But for the pizza, I'm so glad I got the Large so there's leftovers for my bro.

Best pizza in Friendswood. And they are super nice. Service is great. If you're in this area, I would definitely recommend getting yourself some great pizza.

It's always a pleasure visiting or ordering delivery. The pizzas toppings are always so fresh and bountiful. Stefano's has been in Friendswood for as long as I can remember and it really is a staple of this community. The prices are right for quality, and the pizza is always piping hot. If you're looking for a delicious pizza, this is a great place to go. On this visit, we had the 16" supreme with two Caesar salads which was split between four people. They're cold, crisp with perfect croutons. I believe the Caesar is house made, at least it taste of it. I highly recommend indulging, in this quaint and very home style pizzeria.

Ordered take out on a Wednesday night. Will definitely be back to try other menu items. Pasta roll: these were filling and tasty. By the 3rd piece, it started to get spicy 7-8/10Hawaiian pizza: a touch too much olives but other wise it was good 6/10Alfredo pizza: it was basically a cheese pizza with white sauce. It wasn't too cheesy, it was just enough cheese. Definitely better than a basic cheese pizza! 7-8/10Italian cream cake: 6/10, it's a little dense but not too sweet. I'm not a big sugar fan and this was just right for me. Tiramisu: 9/10, it's incredibly light, not sweet at all. Just wish there was more.

Very delicious food! It is a nice hidden spot with great service. I am not from the area but will be coming back. The Alfredo was nice and saucy!!!! I couldn't even wait to eat the cheese sticks they had a very nice cheese pull.
