Lots of uncommon dishes on their menu. I tried their bun mam, not very flavorful and a bit bland. Very thick cuts of eggplant and skinny cuts of pork. My wife got the mi vit tiem. Salty but good. Juicy duck. The place is very low frills. Not the cleanest bathroom and order service was fragmented despite 4+ people behind the counter. There was one waitress and one bus boy. Food was very fast. Card accepted. Some ready to go dishes like xoi and bo bia. Not busy at all for a Sunday lunch.

Poor customer service and FOUND HAIR IN MY FOODI came in to eat at 4:10pm. The waiter came over and I ordered a bahn mi sandwich. Then he came over again to take my main course and told me the kitchen was closing in 10 minutes. Google map and yelp states they are open until 7pm, so why would the kitchen be closing at 4:20pm? He also should inform me of that before seating me or taking my first order. When I got my beef noodle soup, I SAW HAIR IN THE TENDON. I called another waiter over and showed him. He stood there quiet trying to figure out what it was. Then he said "it is probably the twine that we use to cut the tendon" and walked away. If it is the "twine", then am I supposed to eat that? He did not offer me another bowl or say sorry. I called him over and told him this was not acceptable and asked for them to comp the noodle dish. The entire time he kept sighing and looked mad, as if I was annoying him. I went here one other time before and FOUND A HAIR (single long strand) in my bahn mi sandwich. Despite that, I still wanted to give this place another try. Also, the bahn mi really is average. There are better bahn mi sandwiches at other places. Not sure why people are raving about it in the other reviews besides the fact that it's slightly cheaper here compared to other places. Also there's a $15 minimum for card.NEVER COMING BACK.

No easy get the mixed pork organs congee in east coast. It totally scratches the itch of the memory of the food from Vietnam traveling. A lot of special items that use you couldn't get from other Vietnamese restaurant. This is such a good place to explore a little bit more than your ordinary selection of Vietnamese food. They do have their selection of Vietnamese sandwich's in a very good price. Service is fast and it's perfect place for takeout.

This hidden gem is a staple to the neighborhood. In the mornings, y'all see many people coming in for a quick grab and go breakfast, snack, or lunch for work! Cafe Saigon has amazing banh mi where the baguette is toasted and the fillings are so fresh! Service is always quick! This is a spot you go for a quick bite or just to get a meal to go!

Best Banh Mi sandwich in Philly. I have been buying them for years. It was $2.50 around 20 years ago and now is up to $5.

The C S is a neighborhood restaurant located in the Adam's Plaza shopping mall, a very busy strip mall located on Adams Avenue, conveniently located right off of the Roosevelt Boulevard. The restaurant has some really authentic, and delicious Vietnamese food.MDW, and I stopped in for a quick lunch and we both ordered Bahn Mi's with roasted pork, an order of summer rolls, and some pork fried rice. The Bahn Mi's were very good, as were the summer rolls. The pork fried rice had some little diced sausage mixed in which was a nice touch. My cold Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk was good but could have used a lot less ice which took up most of the glass...All and all Cafe Saigon is a good place to satify your craving for some good Vietnamese food.

Hands down, one of the best banh mi in Philadelphia. This is purely a banh mi review. And only a review of their traditional Vietnamese lunch meat banh mi, as that is all I've had. But I've had it many times and always get the same thing as it's so damn good! Go in and order on the spot. No need to call as they prepare the sandwiches lightning fast. Roll is fresh and crisp yet fluffy always. Toasted prior to filling with viet mayonnaise, a great homemade pate, really good head cheese, juicy Vietnamese ham/pork roll. Sweet , crunchy pickled daikon and carrot, cucumber spear and Spicy jalapeño kick. It's just...perfect

Yummy banh mi. Affordable. Fast customer service. This is a friendly neighborhood restaurant that I frequent. The food is good and affordable compared to other popular Vietnamese restaurants around the area. The environment is clean, but aesthetically outdated. It is clear that it targets locals (including myself), but it does give off cozy and familiar feelings.

Have been eating here for probably 4-5 years now at this point. Broths consistently on point, great portions, tender meats, fair price, and viet snacks at the counter to take to work for lunch! I have yet to be disappointed here. Our go to orders are Roast Pork Egg Noodle soup (add a wonton of course), Hu Tieu Mi Tho (minus squid), and Hu Tieu Ga. All amazing every time
