So delightful! The environment was clean, and tidy. The service was friendly and attentive. The food was ready quick and tasted delicious. We ordered the hummus with pita, the falafel plate, and the combination chicken n gyro plate. Our drinks were fresh-we had the mango juice, unsweet tea and the Lebanese tea. We will definitely be back!

So excited to have this Lebanese food nearby. The food here is delicious: I order the falafel and my husband likes the chicken shawarma. We've both enjoyed the food every time. I've only ever ordered takeout from here so I can't speak much for dining-in, but I know when I went in to pick up the food they were so nice! Definitely recommend trying out Cafe Petra if you are in the area.

Minus half a star. This place is a little tiny. But it has some tasty food options. My party each ordered the combination plates. Gyro was very good. The chicken was a touch on the dry side but I was coming off hours so maybe that's on me with poor time management. The humus was very fresh with a stronger than average kick of lemon. This location also has a hot sauce and a garlic paste to add to the traditional tzatziki. Service was prompt, accurate and friendly. Really recommend this place if you're looking for this style of food in the local Katy area. Sadly I forgot to take photos.

Best Lebanese food that I've had in years!I'm so happy that Cafe Petra opened near my home. Having dined here four times now I'm convinced this is the real deal. Located in a strip mall at the corner of Firethorne and FM1463, this small restaurant has a lot to offer. The restaurant itself has a simple decor with instrumental music playing and a few tv's playing videos of scenes of Middle East. It's quite enough so you can talk and be heard.The menu offers a variety of meats, seafood and vegetables so that you can try different dishes if you that sort. Me? I love the combo platter with chicken, gyro meat and a small green salad. Tho once my son and I shared a platter for two. The portions are enough that we always have something to bring home too. Try the Lebanese Tea. Something like an Arnold Palmer, only better!

I guess I was expecting more after reading other reviews. Food and service were good but lots of other restaurants in the area that are equal or better for the price.
