Although the food was good. The service wasn't so great. Our waitress never checked on us after bringing out our food, and she never came back to refill my husband's coffee. It's probably because she spent the whole time texting on her cell phone. The bathroom may have been clean, but there was no toilet paper. The atmosphere was very quiet despite the fact there were small children there. It was my first time there, and my last.

The restaurant has a lot of hip energy and is eclectic. The service was friendly and nice. Our food was delicious. I had Jen's Crespelle and my husband had a side of French toast. Only because he wasn't feeling very well. The French toast was just the right thickness and battered well. The Crespelle was savory and nicely presented. The eggs were creamy and cheesy, and the touch of maple and strawberries added to the savory flavor of the crêpe. The restrooms are gender, neutral and were very clean. As we left the restaurant, it became very busy with plenty of people outside waiting to put their names on the list. This was a Sunday mid morning.

I love coming into Cafe Lift for a mid-walk refreshment or for brunch. I've had the best service and food here, it's worth it every time. On weekends there can be a wait for brunch, so arrive early.I enjoy the ube hazelnut coffee and also their cortado. I love their variety of drink and tea options for every palette. I enjoy the mushroom toast and grain bowl as my favorites for food. My other dining mates have enjoyed their fries and pancakes for sure.

We rented the place out for a wedding rehearsal dinner. Appetizers were served downstairs. I sampled the delicious soft bread slices and wonderful veggies and hummus. The drinks were to perfection. Staff were friendly down to earth and kind. After an hour the party moved upstairs for dinner, which seemed to last forever as an infinite series of dishes were brought to our tables from salad to dessert to more appetizers to several main dishes amounting to a 20 course dinner. Everything was delicious and delectable. Even the decaf coffee was exceptional. This was a wonderful place to eat and our daughter's joy was very great to have her rehearsal dinner here.

This is the first time I visited this location after they moved. I did not see the upstairs space, but the tables on the first floor space was a bit too tight, but there weren't anyone seated next to us so it felt okay. The food was delicious, service prompt, and attentive. I would definitely come back again. I do have to add that their restroom was kept clean (I usually don't mention this much, but when I mention this info it means I was very satisfied with their cleanliness).

Cafe Lift will satisfy your brunch cravings! I came here after a long run with some friends and we were so ready to dig in! Unfortunately, we came on a Saturday morning so there was a wait! The waitress said the wait would be 40 minutes so I gave her my number and they sent a text when our table was ready (it ended up only being around 25 minutes). :) I ordered the two eggs which came with two eggs (any style), protein (I chose sausage), and toast. I would recommend not ordering this. It's really pricey for what it is and you can definitely make this at home. I tried my friends' dishes as well- the breakfast burrito was so satisfying!! It was warm and packed with flavor! It was definitely messy to eat though, but well worth it. I also tried my friend's poutine fries. It was my first time trying poutine and it was delicious! The fries were waffle cut, which was a plus. Our table split the lemon ricotta pancakes and these pancakes were so fluffy! It also came with strawberries, homemade whipped cream, and honey. Loved it! Great mix of sweet and savory dishes at our table. I recommend splitting the pancakes if you're coming with a group. Staff here was awesome! Very friendly and quick service :) TLDR: Really pricey, but what place isn't these days? I recommend ordering the more unique dishes (poutine, breakfast burrito) over basic brunch items that can be made at home (toast and eggs)

In town for a fun mini girls weekend and given that there are literally countless brunch options in Philly we decided to go with an option fairly close to our hotel that had more of a fun and diverse menu ... so we landed on Cafe Lift. Our wait was only 10 minutes during peak brunch hours on a Saturday which was AMAZING and we were swiftly seated on the second floor of their dining space which has a really light and airy retro done right vibe. Our server was very patient with us and paid us the perfect amount of attention while also providing perspective and recommendations on the menu. We honestly ordered so much freaking food that it didn't fit on the table and we didn't get to take pics of it all because we were too busy stuffing our faces.Every single thing we ordered was BOMB! And I mean EVERY SINGLE THING! From the Cheesesteak & Egg Breakfast Sammie on a Pretzel Bun, to the Taylor Ham, to the Cannoli French Toast, to the Shakshuka, to the Sourdough Grilled Cheese to the Coffee ... nothing missed! We of course had to take a ton of food to go which made us excited because it meant we would be able to experience the flavor party once again later in the day. Highly highly recommend this place because we will certainly be back! Oh and it's BYOB too!

It's a cute little cafe on Spring Garden Street. My daughter and I came in earlier for brunch. It was a late birthday shindig for me. Our server, Sean, was exceptional. I wasn't sure (for once) on what to order since it was a surprise from my daughter. Sean was very friendly and professional. He gave us great recommendations on the chicken cutlet sandwich and the cannoli French toast. It was HEAVENLY!We had a wonderful time here as well. Looking forward to coming back.

i didn't enjoy cafelit, the meal was kind of expensive for a breakfast.I felt cramped while eating breakfast. I have eaten at other places and didn't pay the price for eggs and waffles like I did here
