Truly amazing I can't believe the negative reviews (best Chinese Buffett) I have been too hands down !

Found a roach in my food. The manager asked if I wanted another plate. I declined and was promptly given a refund. I will not be returning.

The food was cold. I don't like it at all. The glass of water was nasty I think is direct from the sink. I do not recommend it.

I Don't know what people who bang on this place expect to get. High-end Asian cuisine? No, it's a buffet. And one of the few remaining ones after the pandemic. It offers a TON of variety, with more seafood than you will find at nearly any Chinese buffet. Some of the food is really good, some just good, some "eh". But it is a decent value and you can make multiple trips and always get something different. Overcooking one batch of fried rice or the food being cold 15 minutes before they close doesn't mean they deserve a 1 star review.

The food was ok. The ambiance was fine. The service was great. I don't know if I'd go back again. I tried almost all the items on the buffet and nothing really came off as great. Some of the items weren't even hot. We went on a Wednesday and we're charged over 16$ per person.

They do have a great selection of food. If you want menudo and enchiladas this may just be your Chinese buffet place. The egg rolls stunk like the meat was bad. The cost after tip and a drink was over $25. When did Chinese food get so expensive? I know that food costs are increasing but hey, I didn't get a raise. We gotta get Trump back into office. This inflation is killing me.

Despite the negative reviews I came across, I decided to take a chance and visit this location for myself. To my pleasant surprise, it turned out to be quite the gem. The spacious setting, delightful aroma as I walked in, and the genuinely friendly staff all added to the positive experience. Contrary to the reviews, the restrooms were clean and well-maintained. I am inclined to believe that people may have misunderstood or overlooked the true qualities of this place. I am even considering revisiting in the future. However, it is important to note that parking can be quite challenging due to its popularity. note that the crawfish tends to be in high demand and is frequently unavailable.

No stars. But can't post without a star. My family and I came to have lunch, but stopped and got the 2 little ones McDonald's since they do not like Chinese. The hostess greeted us, we asked if it was ok that they have their own food, she said yes and took us to our seats. The waitress took our drink order and brought them back. We, the 2 adults, got our food and before we could eat, another worker told us to leave because of the outside food. We were appalled since multiple workers saw us and never told us it wasn't allowed. We will NEVER eat there again. We called Happy Family Buffet on 1960 and they told us it was no problem at all. They welcomed us with the kids happy meals and treated us wonderfully. We will be taking our business there instead of Cafe East.

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!!!! There was a bug in my food and immediately I called the manager over and he laughed in my face. brought the bill and still charged me. He called the cops on me and the cops said he would give us a ticket. Absurd that I had to pay for food that is not with in health codes. I should have walked out right when I got there because the place is filthy restrooms are horrid havent been cleaned in days. Just dont go here!!
