This Lebanese restaurant is a gem. I'm always happy to eat at places where you feel like a guest in someone's home and this place gives you that vibe. When asked about the food, our server said "my father makes these ...." which immediately made me feel comfortable. We went there on the 4th of July which meant there were a few specials which would not ordinarily be there on the menu. This review is also an appeal to them to put the Lebanese Pizzas (at least one?) on the menu on a daily basis. The Za'atar and Cheese pizza that we ordered was really yummy. We also got the "yellow platter" which has flavorful chicken shawarma and my favourite salad from this part of the world - fattoush. If normal salads had that texture of crispy pita bread alongside the greens, I would never complain.Malvern is quite a ways away from Philly and we were only in the area to reminisce about the time we lived there. But this restaurant made it well worth the trip.

Authentic and good food. Fair price and good service. The place is small, recommend to reserve a table.

Falafels, pita, hummus (classic and roasted red pepper), and tabouleh was good!! Service was really quick and forgiving for the kids being a little destructive. Ambiance was very homey and nice!

Lovely family-run spot with excellent Mediterranean cuisine, friendly service and wonderful atmosphere. We tried the yellow platter, shish tawook and hummus with beef (which was really good). Delectable!!

We've enjoyed dining at this casual Mediterranean restaurant in the plaza with Giant. Friendly service. Great humus, babaganoush, tahini and flatbread. We have enjoyed their Gyros and entrees. We recommend it.

My daughter and I ate at Cafe Baladi last weekend, purely on a whim, as we'd been to the nearby PennDot Driver Licensing Center (DMV). We really like Middle Eastern cuisine so I checked out the YELP reviews and in we went! (PS. Laithe, you were right!)Great Decision!Cafe Baladi is a small, friendly, welcoming family-run restaurant. The menu has a nice array of appetizers and shawarma entrees, among other things to choose from on its menu (SEE menu Photos!)We were immediately welcomed by, as we later discovered, the lovely wife of the Chef/Owner, Imad.We ordered a small set of dual appetizers: lamb meat and veggies in a pastry shell. (SEE photo) with a delicious sauce. Our entries were a shawarma chicken wrap with fries (my daughter ordered) and a lamb shawarma entree with a delicious side salad. The food was delicious and the young son of the owners also waited on us/refilled our waters, and he was very friendly and came by our table several times to see if we needed anything.All-in-all this was a great find and not only do I give it 5 stars BUT I also give the chef/owner Imad a huge Thank You and kudos for responding to my later vm when I thought I might have accidentally left some important papers for/from the DMV in his restaurant. Thanks Cafe Baladi!!!!

Since my first time here, I have been back several times and they have not missed. I think it's impossible to eat here and not have a dish packed with flavor. I ordered takeout here last week on a rainy day and saw a special on their menu called "Loubieh bi Ziet" which was described as a green bean and tomato like stew with a touch of cinnamon. Oh my goodness. I had chicken added to this since they asked me if I'd like any meat added to it. I believe it's traditionally served with pita for dipping, however I ordered mine with rice to mix in. It was for sure the consistency of a stew so pita would be excellent. This was one of the most delicious things I've ever tasted. I wish this was a regular menu item because I'm so hooked. It had a perfect mix of savory, spice, and the kiss of cinnamon was just the cherry on top. I did not want this dish to end.Service is always friendly here and they've remodeled a bit which makes the experience to dine in very elegant but cozy at the same time. Haven't had one disappointing experience here!

This place would be easy to drive right by in this busy plaza, but the food is too good to miss! Beef tahini salad was chopped up and made right behind the counter and was very fresh. The sfihas were AMAZING!! So much flavor! You can tell everything is made by their family with love.

This restaurant is a solid 4: The staff were friendly, and the food was very good. The falafel were particularly tasty. I didn't care for the baklava, but this was because of the orange blossom flavor, which I admit is traditional. The dining area was clean and this is a great place for a casual lunch or dinner. This place also sells a small selection of relevant food items. For context, we frequent Mediterranean restaurants whenever we can.

Can't say enough good things about this place. Food was wonderfully delicious. Everything was made from scratch. The young man taking care of us was wonderfully attentive and great at his job. Highly recommend the shish taouk and sfiha . Hopefully if I am back here again I will try their lamb shawarma. Other folks with me said the beef shawarma was very moist and delicious. Portion sizes are also quite good . So happy we decided to try this place on our road trip
