Cabo Bob's Burritos is definitely a gem of a Yelp finds! The parking lot was packed when I arrived - good sign #1. I heard several different individuals talking about how much they love the food at Cabo Bob's and make plans to stop in almost every weekend - good sign #2. Fresh made tortillas - good sign #3. I ate for less than $10 - bonus! This is somewhat like a Chipotle style "fast food" eatery. Service was very good, and the staff was helpful if you weren't sure what to choose to add to your protein source.Atmosphere is laid-back back beachy vibe with good music playing. There are also several tvs situated in the dining area, making it inviting to hang for a while after eating. The food was excellently prepared, and the price point was more than reasonable for the portion size and food quality.People, make Cabo Bob's a go-to if you are in close proximity!

I finally tried this Chipotle alternate, and initially thought it was just a fast casual Mexican restaurant. In a lot of ways, I think it's better than Chipotle, but in some ways, it's not. For example, the servicing style and options are more along the lines of an uberrito, with fresh jalapeños. They offer grilled poblanos, not basic green peppers like Chipotle. Their steak is chopped in large chunks and has a nicer charcoal flavor due to the B&B charcoal they use during cooking. They advertise this fact at the front door when you walk in.Instead of the artisan juices at chipotle, they offer cane sugar sodas. Instead of having basic black tea, they offer a sweet mint tea. One item I felt they are behind the times is their sweetener for the tea. They offer just regular white sugar and artificial sugar, but no stevia packets or turbinado sugar packets.Overall, a pretty good alternative to the most popular build your own burrito places.

Chipotle, Moes, Tijuana Flats, Qdoba, who???If you want a stuff'T with a capital T burrito or bowl with premium ingredients and flavorful meat, this is the place to go. Whenever I am up this way, I will go out of my way to come here whenever I'm craving Mexican. They have delicious and homemade tortillas for the burrito with three different flavors (I highly suggest getting). They also serve Brisket as an option for meat which is my go to. They have a ton of uniquely flavored sauces to top your bowl, burrito or tacos. The service is incomprehensible. Staff is always looking out for your best interest and never skimping you out like Chip.

I love coming here for something different yet familiar! The first time I came in, I wasn't sure what to expect, but they have a great variety of proteins to choose from, beef, chicken, and fish (which you can't get from Chipotle)!I love the the tortillas are fresh, there are a couple of different flavored versions, i like the cheddar and regular tortillas, but you can also get quesadillas and tacos, not just a burrito! You go through the line and pick from a huge variety of fresh toppings, and it's always hard to decide which ones to get, so you end up with what seems like everything! I always get a side of queso and chips too! The queso is sooo good, and the bag of chips doesn't disappoint, as it's a ginormous bag!I've eaten here a few times when the weather is nice, as they've got indoor and outdoor seating, and outdoors is great if it's a nice day! The staff is always great, constantly hustling and bustling!

When I walked in and saw that they were grilling their meats on a Kamado Joe I knew I was in for a treat! Hands down absolute best burrito I have ever eaten out! Chipotle, Freebirds & Torchy's watch out! There's a new sheriff in town and they do serious tacos & burritos here! Their salsas are amazing and very tasty with a Baja/ South Texas flair! You will leave this place happy, full & craving more!

Damn that's a big burrito! Biggest I've ever seen...a few pounds. Don't have a scale but I've never had a burrito this big or heavy! I was thinking the tomatillo that said hot would be hot, but it's not at all. Don't see the cheese. Other then that it was very good and a huge portion...especially for the price. I'll be back. Service was quick and friendly.

(3.5)Decent build your own burrito place! The ingredients seem good quality and they apparently make their flour tortillas in house. The brisket was very tender and flavorful. The bowls look small but they give similar portions to chipotle with similar pricing. They have more toppings including Baja beans (mix of beans), poblano peppers, mango pico, and a lot of sauces. Toppings appear very fresh. I got half steak and half brisket for $9.99. (Avocado and queso are extra). I felt that the flavors all meshed into a one-note flavor and didn't hold up on their own, so I probably wouldn't return. However, I can appreciate it for what it is.

Why 2 stars? Because I couldn't even finish my burrito. --- --- ---I really hate writing negative reviews and I don't do it often, but I have no choice here. I was driving through this area and spent about 30 minutes analyzing where I'd grab dinner. I eventually settled on Cabo Bobs because the brisket and queso burrito sounded like the heaven. I was even happier to see that there was a drive-thru because my son had fallen asleep in the car while we were driving here.So I got my burrito and then had to grab some gas next door. While the gas was pumping, I couldn't wait and decided to dig into my burrito right away. Each bite somehow got worse. The brisket tasted like the cheapest chuck meat you'd find at Walmart. There were weird peppers in it. The beans were gross. I kept getting a whiff of cleaning solution. As I was forcing it down, I asked myself: "Why? Why are you making yourself eat this?" I always finish my food, even if I don't love it. But logic won out. I ate about 60-70% of it and then decided to toss it. I was hungry later, but that was better than wasting calories on something I didn't like at all. I save 1-star reviews of restaurants for situations where I hate the food and experience bad service. The drive-thru service was slow but polite. That's really the only reason for the 2nd star because this was the worst meal I've experienced in 2024 so far.

Just learned that Cabo Bob's will only give military discount if in uniform. The nearest military base is three hours away. Finally, they found a loophole to negate a discount for Soldiers. This is NOT a Soldier friendly chain. I will be spending my money elsewhere.
