They are very thoughtful and caring! They want you to try before you buy and the food is simply awesome you've got to try them. This is Houston's best kept secret.

Vernon comes into the truck stop I work at often and is so friendly. He's always encouraging me to come out and try his food but I'm often at work the hours he is open. Today he was serving food to local flood victims and asked my husband and I to come by. We both got plates with brisket, his homemade sausage, potato salad and beans. It was absolutely delicious! I don't even usually like potato salad and his was so creamy and good. The sausage is extremely good and the brisket was melt in your mouth tender. His bbq sauce is also great! Pretty sure the pickles were homemade too. Just really awesome food and super kind and friendly owners. Can't wait to get by on a day he's open so I can try other stuff and support his business.

Wish I could give more stars! My husband & I were passing through the area & looked to Yelp for recommendation. When I saw it was a food truck, I knew it would be good & was not disappointed. This BBQ rates up there with the best I have ever had. We were there as a late lunch so only brisket & his homemade sausage available for the meat choices. Both were delicious! Sauce is homemade & quite good. We had potato salad, beans & corn for our sides. These were not your average BBQ sides but homemade recipes that were exceptional. C&V are friendly & know true customer service. We will definitely eat there when in the area again. In fact, we may even make the 3.5 hr drive from home (one way) so we can try the ribs.

I tried this place today for lunch -nine dollars for a slice beef sandwich!!!! And it was one of the worst I've ever had (to be fair, I think the piece of meat they gave me was not the best cut).. $12 for a loaded baked potato!!!?? these guys must think they're Landry's restaurant! I don't know about the rest of the food, but based on the menu and the pricing ,I would not recommend these folks for anything.

This is my favorite BBQ food truck! Pricing is fair and it takes me forever to decide what to order because it's ALL amazing!The loaded bbq spud is probably my favorite but their sausage is homemade and it's really good too!My husband wants to buy their BBQ sauce by the bottle- it's homemade and perfectly sweet and smoky!Vern and his wife Cynthia are the nicest people, they are always cheerful and funny... I love supporting their family business.

Delicious. Not only are they extremely friendly their BBQ could go up against the best BBQ in the state. I wish they had a physical location so I could go more often!!

Great Brisket; super tender with a nice smoke flavor! The sausage was good as well. I forgot to take pics because I was too busy enjoying the delicious bbq; I highly recommend C&V. Make sure to get there early because once they sell out you are out of luck until next time.

The food is fantastic. Brisket was cooked perfect. Both the lean and moist had great flavor and plenty of smoke. The homemade sausage is amazing. The homemade beans were spicy with plenty of flavor and meat. I try BBQ all over when I travel and I'm very glad I stopped here. The owner takes pride in his cooking and was very fun to talk to.

Stopped by to try out. I ordered a brisket and sausage plate with Mac and cheese and potato salad. The mac and cheese had pieces of brisket in it and some bbq sauce it was delicious. The brisket is amazing. The best I ever had. Mouth watering and tender with great flavor. My husband got the beast sandwich and a boudin link. He enjoyed his as well. We will definitely be back soon.
