Burger Theory

The bartender had called out so I had a very friendly kitchen staff member serving us. The first issue was the blue moon I ordered. It taste a bit weird until it occurred to me that the beer was both warm and the orange my not have been fresh. I'm unsure but I had decided to even try adding ice and powering trough the drink. But the staff member turned out to be the owner and rectified the beer by replacing it. Turns out they just reopened 3 weeks prior to my visit. Also under new management.The shrimp came in a to go box although we were dining in. It was delicious.I made my own burger and was happy with it as well. The burger itself was just a smidge bigger then a slider but I added a photo so you could gauge for yourself. In the end would I eat there? Sure if I was staying in the hotel it's located in. It has outside seating as well. But I'm not sure it's it is something I'd think about going out my way to visit.

I have lived in this area for 10 years and never knew this little gem was here. I guess because it's hidden away next to a Holiday Inn hotel. The food is amazingly good and well seasoned. What's also great are the drinks especially if you are there when Princess is on duty. The staff is super friendly and the place is clean and comfortable. I found this place for my cousin who was visiting and the rooms are really nice and the bed is very comfortable. I do plan to go back and it will be a place to visit anytime friends come to town.

Sometimes you're wrong.Today was one of those times I under estimated a solid burger place! Tucked inside of a Holiday Inn Lobby, Burger Theory is small, hard to find if you're not looking for it, and that'll be a mistake.I chose the Build your burger route, which asks you to first choose your meat: Angus Beef, Turkey, veggie or chicken breastI chose a single (one patty) Turkey burger $9, which comes with a free side of fries.Cheese and a few veggies/sauces come free, but there are premium toppings that cost you $1 each like bacon, fried egg, or sauteed mushroom. The turkey burger was really great! Especially for a take home burger. To survive a 20 minute drive and still be that tasty, juicy and filling? That's says a lot to me!French fries were seasoned well, but weren't as crispy as i'd have liked. Sure, that could be because of the sitting in the to go container, but i'm sure i'll pay them a visit again soon.There's a full bar at Burger theory, and customer service is nice enough and attentive. Located off of Ranchwood drive, just before you reach Northlake mall, this place really can be hard to find if you don't know that it's here, but now that you know, I hope you check it out if you find yourself nearby!

Jamarcus T summed up this unusual burger joint pretty well. Really weird space that's open to the hotel lobby and next to the hotel breakfast area. A small hotel bar that bills itself as a restaurant and serves killer burgers.The BT burger is excellent. KGB(?) sauce does makes it messy though. If I come back, I'll do a 'build your burger' without sauce. They also have a number of specialty burgers other than the BT, so you should easily find a burger to your liking. Excellent onion rings. $2.50 extra and you get a lot of them.Good service. I stepped up to the empty bar, ordered from their physically huge menu and took a seat. The burger showed up in short order.Parking: it's a Holiday Inn, so there's that.

I had such high hopes for this place. I didn't feel like eating anything as heavy as a burger so I ordered the fish tacos and a pizza for my son. There were a man and woman at the bar and the cook. The man was very friendly, the woman not so much. The cook was also very nice.Our order came out after a while and my goodness what a disappointment. Each fish taco contained a gigantic piece of what appeared to be frozen fish sticks that had been fried. There was some sliced cabbage drizzled on top of the fish stick and not much else. I asked the guy at the bar if there was a sauce that was supposed to come with the tacos and he told me it should be at the bottom of the fish stick. I checked and sure enough there was a sliver of moisture under the fish stick. The fish was unseasoned, dry and unpalatable. There were 3 fish tacos and I couldn't even finish 1.The pizza fared no better. It literally tasted like ketchup spread on top of dough. Smh. I have never tasted any store bought pizza that was this offensive. Perhaps their burgers are good. I don't know and won't find out.

I reserved a room here because I knew I was going to be late arriving and wanted to make sure I could order a good burger. I was sadly surprised when the desk clerk told us that they had been closed for a few months and they wont be open for another few weeks. When I reserved the room it did show that the restaurant was open. The desk clerk did not offer a discount when I told him that I was upset about the listing showing it was open and it wasn't. The room was cozy though.

Just called to place a pickup 6 I was informed that now they are breakfast only spot due to new management. I had my mouth set to try this restaurant that I knew absolutely nothing about for 4 years.

Great service and the food was good. The waitress and the chef were very friendly and gave great recommendations on drinks snd food.

Fantastic service. Caesar was a great bartender. Enjoyed eating and watching football !

It was a Super Good Burger, It wasn't Dye at all. The bacon & cheese was the perfect amount. Oh, did I mention how seasoned it was!!!!!
