OMG !!! Slap Yo Momma Good Burger !!! I love the fact that you can build your burger the way YOU like it. They offer various other things on the menu as well.

Their food is too greasy the hamburgers taste like leftover grace from a week ago they used to be really good hamburgers but the burger house on Highway three taste a lot better!

They closed at 6:30 on a Saturday. Made us get our food to go. Bacon burger wasn't very good. Cold bacon, barely toasted bun. Fries were way undercooked. $50 snd I could've and should've made my own at home. Will not go back there nor do I recommend.

Love this place! Fresh meat and bread.I had Bulkogi Burger. It was very delicious.They have unlimited salad bar. I didn't eat much this time but next time i will!!!I will definitely come back again!

Love the tastes of these burgers. To me most patties tastes the same and the bread and the fixings is what makes the difference. That being said, they bake their bread fresh and this makes a huge difference! If you're in the area, you won't be sorry if you stop by here.Their bulgogi burgers are also so good. Juicy and well marinated. They have daily specials that are super affordable that includes fries and a drink.

I had to venture over to this side of town because I had to test drive a vehicle for my family. I was famished and found this place on yelp. I'm sure glad I did. The burgers here are what I'd consider real home cooking. Patties were very generous in size and not dried out at all. The cashier was very pleasant and the cook came by to inquire on how I enjoyed my burger. The burger toppings were fresh and i enjoyed being able to select how much of each I wanted. I will be sure to come back and highly recommend this establishment.

If your in the Pasadena area and have a craving for burgers and tasty fries. Then you need to come to Burger tex and get ready to eat !!!! You get to build your burger and add as much jalapeños ,lettuce ,tomatoes, onions and cheese on it.....If you need some excitement in your burger than drop some jalapeños on it. ...

Well the curb appeal is not very exciting! No fancy burger recipes. The burgers are excellent. Nothing fancy, just a well cooked burger and fries with a great bun. Its like your mon cooked a burger for you. Great place for lunch! My coworkers all recommend and when i went in there they were!

Definitely busy at lunch. Lots of workers!!I have taken my time to write this review. Why?? Excellent reviews are easy to write. Meh reviews no real rush to write. The truly horrible reviews I am not in a such to write to make sure that it is not based solely on emotions. If the really bad feelings are still there weeks afterwards then it was a really bad experience. Burger Tex ranks right up on the top (or bottom) of the worse reviews.Living by this restaurant for 8 years and always wanted to taste their burgers I finally went and took my friend Joey. Joey is my restaurant side kick partner.Joey ordered the Chicken Fried Steak sandwich with fries. He LOVED it and was surprised of it's size. It doesn't take much to impress Joey but this time he was really impressed.Now for me. I love burgers, burger joints and I am always ready to taste a new experience. So what did I do? I didn't order one of their burgers but instead I ordered their house special: The Bulgogi. It was so bad that this day also would go down in history as a Day (meal) of infamy!!! Never heard of such a sandwich so I asked the young lady at the counter what is was and she with an attitude pointed at the sign stating that it was thinly sliced rib eye with teriyaki sauce and onions. Sounds good doesn't it. It was more like a pile of dung that was not appetizing to look at or to taste. It was more like a shredded pile with a few tiny pieces of onions. My picture will that there definitely was no love in making, presenting and serving of this fare. I also ordered a side of onion rings. I have never seen such over cooked onion rings like these. They were so petrified so could hear their crunch over the loud lunch hour. Not to waste them my friend Joey (remember easy to impress Joey) ate them with a smile.Now about the service. The hostess/the order taker/the server/ THE GRUMP was so bad that she was more of parody, that should never have anything to do with the public. There were many thank you, hello, and goodbyes that she would only sneer at and give a low grunt. Finally I will NEVER go back, I will never recommend this place and I am very sorry that I ever went there. After 8 years the feeling was soooo anticlimactic.

Need to update their menu in regards to drink sizes. Menu only shows SMALL & LARGE sizes. Most people would think that SMALL refers to a normal/regular drink size - but it doesn't. SMALL for them is KID size, LARGE is Regular/Normal - and the real "Large" is X-Large (not listed at all). Left a bad taste in my mouth.
