Burger House

It's a very good place to eat the food is good the service is great but their air-conditioning system does not work so it is not a comfortable place to eat at but the quality of the hamburgers makes up for it.

This is my favorite divey restaurant. If you are looking for a quick and cheap burger place then this is it!I came here once when i was at work and all my coworkers were going. I wasn't sure if there would be anything there for me to eat because I'm a vegetarian. I was surprised to see a Garden Burger on their menu. The garden burger is a blend of vegetables mixed together in a soy bean patty. As far as I know it is not Vegan, but it definitely works if you are vegetarian. It also tastes pretty good, but don't expect anything gourmet. They cook really quickly and it will be a filling meal. The choices of sides are fries, onion rings, tater tots, cheese sticks, or a baked potato. So lots of carbs and starches. I would not recommend coming here if you are on a diet, but if you need a lot of calories at a low price then definitely come here. And looking at their location (a small industrial strip mall) they are catering to the clientele in the area - not to potential high end customers looking for something trendy. Anyway I enjoy coming here for a quick lunch, but it is very heavy and not healthy.

Oh yeah I'm a fan!! I was so sad when Burger Tex on Bay Area Blvd. closed because while I'm not a huge lover of burgers, I do enjoy one every now and then. And not a McDonald's burger either. It doesn't have to be fancy, but it has to be good.And Burger House burgers are good!! I got the 1/3 lb burger combo with fries and a medium pop and I was full! For $6.24 that was a LOT of food. And it was hot and fresh too; I'm not really crazy about fries either but I think I'm crazy about these little crispy-on-the-outside-soft-on-the-inside crinkle cut fries! (Yeah yeah I know.....not a fan of burgers or fries...don't judge me. lol)As Bo said, you get your burgers plain and then go to the condiment bar to dress it up. They have lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickles, jalapenos, pico de gallo and relish, plus a nice assortment of sauces; the usual mayo, mustard,and ketchup, plus sriracha sauce, Tabasco, and A-1!I also liked all the different choices on the menu....they had Garden Burgers, grilled chicken, grilled chicken salad plus shrimp and chicken strips/nuggets baskets.And the buns! Oh my gosh yummy carbs! *cough* Sorry I really like carbs. lol They advertise them as "fresh baked" everyday and I can believe it! They were toasted and had just a little toasty crunch but nice and soft inside. Oh yeah. I like these buns! They need just a bun burger....as in a bun sans the meat! Hey I'd order that!I know we will be back; the husband loves burger and fries and I definitely like the different healthier options like the salads and veggie burger!Thank you Burger House for being good and hot and fresh and for NOT being McDonalds!

Thanks for coming through for me again, Yelp!I needed to find a place to grab a quick bite to eat with my family in Clear Lake, and this place came up on my Yelp app with 5 stars, so I thought what the heck - I happened to be craving a burger anyways and didn't want to spend some serious coin and the reviews looked good.This place is a burger joint right across the street from Ellington field. As other reviewers have mentioned, it's run by some very nice Korean folks. The set-up is Fuddrucker-ish, where there is a topping and condiment station. I recommend the bulgogi burger - it was unique and delicious!! The buns are baked fresh in store, and when you taste them you'll realize what a difference it makes (I'm not the type of person who usually pays attention to the burger buns, but these were darned good). Their lunch specials are ridiculously cheap too - you can get a burger combo with fries and drink for less than 7 bux! A little tip - you can make yourself a nice little fry sauce by mixing the ketchup, mayo, and Sriracha at the condiment station :)I want to come back and try the rest of the menu as well. They seemed to sell other stuff like steak, chicken fried chicken, and fried fish...all for dirt cheap prices. Definitely going to drop by again when I'm craving some cheap eats!

Please read the reviews that do not rant and rave about this place. I am giving it two stars and not one because we got our food in a timely manner. Places that deserve one star are nasty and have poor service. I have no clue why others are giving this place such a high rating. Why are other reviews stating it's homemade? Have they never had a real burger before?FROZEN FAKE PATTY. The meat patty is that fake soy beef patty that they throw some salt on and "grill" it. The french fries are straight up regular old crinkle cut fries you get in the freezer section and have no seasoning on them. You get your "burger" served to you with only meat cheese and bread, then proceed to the semi cold area where you put your fixings on. Probably one of the saltiest worst burgers I have ever ate. I do not recommend this place to eat a burger at.

No AC and smells like cigarettes, but great food especially the fries. Fresh buns and toppings for burger. Worth a visit

I'm writing this review as I eat my burger. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger combo with grilled onions and substitute tater tots. The burger is ok, nothing special and nothing horrible. The reason for 2 stars is because the lady or owner of shop didn't really greet me when I entered. Also, the place looked really run down and I could smell some sort of smell coming from restroom as I stood at cash register. I'm just going to pray over my food and hope I don't get sick from trying out a run down looking hamburger place.

I've probably tried 15 items on their menu and everything is fantastic. Every sandwich, the salads and the Korean cuisine are great. In addition, the owners are very nice and attentive people. Portions are big, the price is right, burgers are juicy. I've been going here for about 8-9 years and have never had anything but an excellent meal.

Good burger with fresh bun! And good fries also. Less then eating at whataburger and much better

What a surprise to find that a renowned burger place would turn out to have delicious Korean cuisine. My daughter and I stopped for burgers, but were too enticed by the ramen and Korean dishes to try one (we definitely plan to do so in the near future). Atmosphere was cheery, clean and bright. Large portions, yet economically reasonable prices, and EVERYTHING we ate was delicious and so flavorful. We are so excited that this little gem is so close to our home.
