Burger Bodega

Their decor is very cute. However they did mess up my order I guess just make sure you're not missing anything esp If you paid for extra add ons. My burger was delicious ! The buns were buttery soft. however it was room temp & fries were the same but crispy.. it was busy so I didn't bother with trying to exchange. Next time I would get a double def not a triple it was a lot.

Was introduced to this smash burger spot by a friend who is also a local.Luved the ambiance (felt very Miami/Hialeah). The place has a line going out the door, but it moves fast and even tho the place was packed, by time we placed our orders seats had opened up.Gotta say my burger was underwhelming for the stand alone cost; I probably should have gotten a dbl but thought the single would be more substantial (and def was dry on the sauce). The fries were also just OK; for $15pp w/drink, I was expecting more, I guess.My friend however raved about his chopped cheese, but I can't do onions or green peppers so it was not for me. The service was great, and it was clean.The only other issue was prkg; extremely small lot, so it is a hunt for street prkg sorta sitch.

After a goodnight out definitely hit the spot. The chopped cheese was delicious and well seasoned just like the smashed burger. Their fries were fresh and stated really good. After a certain time they only take order and serve through their walk up window. The costumer service we received was good. This location gets a lot of people. Definitely coming back.

Burger Bodega is a vibe! They play all NY hits and the decor is vibrant. They also sell Pudgys cookies for desserts.I enjoy the chopped cheese and the screwed fries. The screwed fries are a large portion and can be shared. The line moves quick and there is a parking lot behind the restaurant and a separate lot just a few steps away. They specialize in smash burgers so the patties are thin. I do like their fries. Staff is also great and super efficient and friendly.

I went to Burger Bodega and did not order a burger. Before you judge, know that it was an accident, and I can now say I recommend the chopped cheese as a "I'm not in the mood for a burger alternative". It offers all of the ingredient featured in the double, in a slightly different mashup on a toasty hoagie bun. If you're new to the spot, know that it mimics bodega vibes. It's refreshing to see Pudgys cookies for sale, alongside Bluedorn hot sauce and other local favs. A nod to the same, the decor is a charming touch, and service is friendly and timely, and the spot can get busy so plan accordingly! Parking and seating can be tricky during these times so I recommend utilizing the surrounding street parking and visiting on a day you're willing to take your order to go or eat Al fresco. As I was craving a burger (and accidentally ordered a sandwich), I stole a bit...well half...of my finances burger. If you're into smash burger, sweet onions, and minimal veg, this burger is for you! Additionally, for all those with a sweet tooth (myself included), their shakes are worth ordering. I added extra chocolate syrup to my cookies and cream, and it's the most cravable item I ordered. When we're on this side of town, we'll definitely keep this spot in mind!

Stopped by here with my family last week and loved it! We came on a Wednesday around 12:30 and there was a couple parking spots left and the line wasn't too long. I got the single smash burger, but it's so thin I would get the regular double next time. We also shared regular fries and screwed fries. The screwed fries are a lot and we shared with 3 people and it was enough for everyone. The decor and vibes are very cool inside. The service is nice and quick. We didn't check upstairs, but it seems there's more seating up there. Will be back!

Great spot for smash burgers! I ordered the double smash burger, and it definitely satisfied my burger craving. The patties were well-seasoned and flavorful, and the bun was soft and fresh. This place also has unique shake flavors, including Vietnamese coffee and mango lassi. The mango lassi shake was really good - the flavor is a bit more like artificial mango in my opinion, but I liked the taste!The decor inside is set up to look like a bodega in NY which was really cool. There was a line out front when we arrived, but it went by much faster than we thought.

Open late night and a nice store front right off Washington Ave. perfect location in my opinion for all the night lifers.I enjoyed the window service and the simple menu. Not overly complicated and they seem to take pride in the items they offer. We got the double smash burger, spicy chop cheese and fries. All were great! Fries and the smash burger lacked a little bit of kick. Probably could use a little more seasoning and it would be perfection. For these items and two bottled drinks, we totaled just under $35 so the prices are very reasonable.I would absolutely come back here when the storefront is open. We came after hours and only the window was operational but from looking inside, it looked to be such a cool place to grab a bite. I would definitely go again!

I've been wanting to try this place since they opened. I live 5 minutes away, but every time I drive by they always seem to have a line that wraps around the building. Today out of the blue, we decided to get take out here and luckily there was no line.The place has a cool and hip vibe. The bright building and the cool signage is very inviting. The place is small inside, but the space is decorated like a bodega with Houston themed items - super cool.Their burger gets a lot of rave on social media, and they really only have that and chopped cheese.. I ordered the double burger with a side of fries; and my wife got a single with a side of fries as well all for $26. The smash burger was good, but not great. The best part about the burger was definitely the bun - soft and chewy but well toasted on the inside. The patties were a little under seasoned for me. The sauce inside the burger is very reminiscent of the in n out spread - not bad but I wish there was a little bit more if it. Best part of the meal were the fries - crispy and delicious.Overall, I'm a little sad that I wasn't wowed by Burger Bodega especially with all the hype. Maybe we went on an off day. I am willing to give them another shot and hopefully get a better meal.
