Bullpen Pizza and Sports Bar

Great drink specials, pizza was o.k. had live music the night I was there I will return and try something else for dinner.

FIRST: The guy DJFM that does karaoke is legit, gets you up there, friendly and easy song selection! SECOND, drinks were well made and prices were ok. THIRD: got a personal pepperoni pizza and it was pretty damn good! Nice little spot will come back for more karaoke!

My wife and I had lunch today at Bullpen Pizza. First off, Bullpen is showing some wear. We had a good conversation with the bartender (manager?) Vinnie. He explained how they were trying to find contractors to fix up the place. As we all know, restaurants and bars are hurting. They can't find workers, food vendors, and even contractors to do repairs quickly. So, go for the food and drink and don't worry about the looks. The place is clean, it just needs some paint and some new chairs.We ordered 20 wings and a pizza. We planned on taking leftovers home so this is why we ordered a lot. Food came out very quick. The wings were huge and we weren't expecting this! Not your typical quail size wings you see at a lot of places. Vinnie explained the wing shortage and how it's very difficult to get quality wings. The wings were cooked perfectly. Crispy and no red around the bone. The dry rub flavor was good as well. The pizza they serve is thin crust only at this time (no deep dish). For an establishment like Bullpen I'm surprised the pizza was that good. Lots of good cheese and a good amount of toppings. No complaints about the food.The service was excellent. Vinnie was fun to talk to and asked us our names. He said he likes to get to know his customers. He's really a good guy and made us feel welcomed. Two regulars came in, but our service didn't decline. Vinnie made sure we were happy. This won't be our last visit to Bullpen Pizza.

Overall not a bad watering spot. I don't have any negative criticism on this business. Service was good but just a bit on the slow side. Parking not a problem in a strip center. I met a friend over and he smokes so we sat in the back area outside where you can smoke and drink. We did order a pizza and surprisingly it was excellent. I was not expecting that for a bar. However, I will visit again and try other things off the menu to see if it was just fluke. People were fishing off the balcony in the back were we were sitting which was cool no issues. Overall not bad, pizza, several drinks including tip was right under $50. Not bad at all. Now for eyecandy. I think this place has potential. There was some there during our visit however, you can tell the place does get busy.

Was looking for a sports bar to watch a game. Walked in and felt unwelcome from the moment the door closed behind us. No greeting from the staff. The TVs are small and oldWe walked out with, of course, still no comment from the staff

So... cool place. No answer. I flicked most of the moldy pineapples off. Then I realized the black olives had a little grey hair on the inside of the olives. Review 2-10 old toppings, non existent phone number. Called 4 times just to let them know, not even to complain. No answer

Went to watch the Astros game with a few of my friends in hopes of finding a new bar to hangout at. We sat a high top table near the bar and were greeted quickly by the first bartender. Shortly after though a new bartender came in and never came up to our table to ask if we needed another round or food. So, I had to go to the bar and ask for another round and chips and queso. 30 minutes later we still had not received our food so we flagged her down and I asked if she had rung in the order and she said no with no emotion. We then cancelled the order and went ahead with ordering our meals. Basically to wrap it up, only go there if you want to feel like an inconvenience and get terrible service.

Photos on google showed Chicago style pizza , so the wife wanted to go. It was quite literally a frozen pizza. Service was fine, but we were the only ones inside. Won't be going back.

Don't bother. The service sucked, the waitress forgot to put my order in and waited an additional 20 mins for some low, not even mediocre pizza. The pizza itself was not even cooked throughly and toppings were cold. Couldn't blame that it was busy when there wasn't many people. I kept having to go up and find the waitress in order to get served. Other than that, seemed like a really chill bar there was hardly any people. Maybe just for a beer and that's it.

Madi is the best. I won't come here unless she is working. Alexis is great as well but, Madie is the best overall. From the welcoming smile to the service. A great price lace to visit especially when Madi is working.Will return because of the service of Madi. Alexis is great but, Madi is on a whole another level.
