Sorry to hear that BUDD is closed due to the owner failed to pay rent. I feel sad about those displaced employees who are jobless. I have been here a couple of times for events. The bar is a typical bar. The club is pretty large if you include the patio. But there was a tiny dance floor big enough to dance. So, you know. BUDDY's is CLOSED.

This place is so much fun! I went for a special 420 bash. I was performing and it happened to be my birthday! We had a blast! The bartenders were great! They really took care of us. These weren't the type of bartenders that you had to wait for. They would wrap up their customers quickly and on to the next. The performances were excellent! Shout out to Morena for doing her thing! They have a patio area for smokers and even had a CBD/edible vendor out there. There's plenty of standing or seating area. The standup tables were great with stools. The lighting was awesome! Really had such a fun and great experience here. Definitely a memorable 420!

Nice clean bar located in the Montrose area, it's a chill environment to relax and grab a couple of drinks. If you don't want to be inside there's also an outside patio to hang out. They also have food if you're hungry, and considering it's bar food; it's not too shabby. They have good music to jam to & there's also karaoke night as well. The music tends to get extremely loud at night when they have a DJ so if you don't really like loud music then come during the day time where it's quiet & chill. Overall, great vibes, amazing staff & drinks are strong. Will I come back? Of course.Tip: come Wednesday for Steak night, yum yum yum.

4 of us were invited to come here by a great friend on a Thursday night for Chingona Jueves and at first I was skeptical because we had never been to a gay bar but let me tell you we all had a great time. The music was fantastic so kudos to DJ Urí The people here were all fantastic and treated us as if they had known us forever. Definitely feeling a sense of belonging. They made us feel welcomed. We enjoyed the show put on by a very beautiful and friendly lady dancing and having fun, entertaining us with her moves. We all danced and had so much fun with the regulars here. We danced without being judged and this is definitely the place. The drinks were on point thanks to our great bartender Victor. Very attentive to our need of drinks. We didn't order food but will be coming back for steak night on Wednesday's. We heard great things about this so come try it out starting at 6:30 pm. There is plenty of parking available with security and lots of lighting in the parking lot. They have a pool table in the back (no pun intended) so come have fun.I would definitely recommend this place for a great time and the best thing is there was no cover charge and parking was free, a great plus.Definitely coming back because we loved the music, ambiance and the people. So glad we visited this place.

I must preface this with the fact that I am a neurodivergent individual and I have been going to this establishment for the past 5 years, but my experience tonight was ATROCIOUS. First, I will start with, the security guard (a tall, wide white man, with tattoos up & down both arms and a few face piercings and tats) who initiated the issue and made sure it persisted, even after I was leaving with people who were diffusing the situation of him yelling at me for NO REASON.I have worked at bars/restaurants for a long time and at no point would my manager encourage us to call the police on people who are nonviolent and clearly not drunk. I also happened to speak with the manager about my business and how he runs his own business, before my encounter with the security guard, and it was a very cordial conversation. Because I am a woman who has dealt with drunk men before, I purposely stayed near a security guard because of a man who was a bit pushy and was clearly drunk when I met him. Yet 3 hours later, his bartender friend was still serving him drinks while I was behind the guy giving the bartender the "cut him off signal". The bartender kept the drinks flowing for his friend and then kicked the dude AND ME out of the bar. I was so confused, as far as I was concerned, I was doing both of them a favor. But the arrogant security guard was not listening to me and asking me a bunch of questions yet not interested in engaging with or answering my questions. I had NO desire to be outside with the dude, but the security guard kept insisting I leave with him because he saw us together. THIS IS A DANGEROUS MINDSET FOR A SECURITY GUARD WORKING IN A SPACE WITH UNISEX BATHROOMS. I don't need him policing the restroom, but he (AND the bartender) certainly should have some training and understanding of what drunk behavior is and how to interact with males vs. females, because yes, it is different especially when liquor is involved. This is an establishment that I visited every weekend with my league, but that is done for me. As a female & mother, it is important for me to spend my time & money in places that I feel safe in, in spaces that will look out for me & protect me against bullies & power-stricken people the same way I would do for anyone I witnessed experiencing this madness.Certainly not a "buddy" of mine.
