best egg and cheese sandwich i've ever had. fries are great. cute vibes in there old fashioned and homey. I can't speak for their other food but their milk shakes looked really Updating because it really is that good. everyone needs to go here for their breakfast sandwiches

The owners of Bruno's need to spend the cash and upgrade if only in terms of visible cleanliness. I would come here weekly if it were clean and well maintained. Not.

EXACTLY what I wanted for breakfast! 2 eggs over medium, sausage, bacon, toast and home fries, all cooked perfectly.

Wholesome diner food, offering breakfast all day. Annmarie was highly attentive and took the time to speak with each table. She put on a fresh pot of coffee and checked in with us regularly. Bruno's has great food and a welcoming atmosphere, nearby Chestnut Hill College and Valley Green. We look forward to coming back!! Just found a Groupon for meals after 4pm, check it out.

We came to Bruno's many times when we lived in the Philadelphia area but have been out of the area for ten years. We came back this weekend, and I just had to have Bruno's Italian roast pork sandwich with provolone and roasted peppers, and fries. It was truly succulent. My wife had a turkey club sandwich, which was excellent: carved turkey with lots of bacon on lightly toasted wheat bread.We also enjoy the atmosphere, setting, and the porch dining options.

Some of the best fries you'll get anywhere. Great sandwiches. Bruno's is very underappreciated and deserves its flowers.

Great food and service. Jukebox and crayons and a good atmosphere for families. For a couples night out, grab a bottle a wine and enjoy some pasta on the porch. It's a BYOB.Burgers, breakfast, chicken salad as pasta are some of my favorites.

I hate to leave this review I really do. I've been going to Bruno's since I was a little kid. Unfortunately the quality of the food is so sub par. So mediocre. It's really unfortunate because the location and the staff (love Mary Anne) are wonderful. Burned omeletes with raw veggies is the norm. If you order mozz sticks you're lucky if there's any cheese left inside the breadcrumbs-- just empty shells. The horror. It's almost as if the food is cooked with spite. There's just a sea of dining mediocrity out in this area and Bruno's is top of the list for disappointing meals. Don't know what they need. New owner? New chef/cooks? It doesn't need to be like this.

I wouldn't recommend this inexpensive restaurant for the primary reason that the food is obviously made from ingredients which taste of tin cans. besides the fact of the rather dull flavors of the food there is the constant background flavor of a few hundred tin cans in all the food. it is quit sad the such a nice location for a small restaurant is occupied by someone without normal taste buds who is immune to the institutional flavors of his food and who readily sneers at finer tastes among the wide range of culinary treats available on the planet
