Appears to be a low budget classic bbq place. Food list would make you think it's a classic bbq place. I'm left with just a general feeling of meh by the whole experience. When you walk in, the walls are covered with items that scream Texas Roadhouse joint. From the bull's skull with horns to the color scheme, this makes you feel like you're in a western joint from long ago. The food doesn't live up to that ambiance though. I got the pulled pork and dark chicken and the person with me got brisket and ribs. Our sides were the okra, Mac and cheese, coleslaw and potato casserole. I've had better bbq meat in the northeast. The food was ok but the sauce (choice of an overly acidic regular sauce or a jalapeño sauce that was also high on the acidity scale) leaves one wanting. I'm a sauce guy when it comes to bbq, and that is a clear miss here. The meats were cooked well for what we got. The real star of the menu is the fried okra. Never had a battered fried okra before and that was a big hit for us. I should also note that any cornbread fans will be disappointed in that they give you a simple slice of white bread to go with the meal. No cornbread option whatsoever. All in all was an ok meal but not what I would expect in Texas when I've had much better bbq in New England.

This is one of those hidden gem types. You won't see it unless you know it's there. They are open for done in, pickup, and drive through. Everyone inside is wearing masks. Their food is fantastic and they've got good family platters.

Overall was a good spot. I was driving down the street and noticed it so decided to stop and check it out. It was about lunch time when we stopped. Parking was not an issue and they are practicing social distancing. All the employees were wearing mask and some tables were taped off, even with that seating was not a problem. I wanted to sample some of the meat before I purchased and there was no hesitation, he went back and got me some to try. I purchased the brisket combo and it was excellent. It comes with fries and a drink. The fries were fresh and hot just how I like them and the brisket was tender and flavorful. My only negative is, a bit more meat could have been on the sandwich. Overall great place, great food and great service, I recommend and will visit again.

Third time coming here with almost enough points for $10 off and nobody knows how to input my phone number on the cash app. So don't expect to get points advertised. Manager is never hear at 6 pm. They have taken my receipt twice to "input later" but never have done it for points

My entre was cooked to perfection! My chicken was moist and flavorful and the macaroni was very delicious. I am most disappointed that I could not enjoy my banana pudding, which was a substitute for the peach cobbler.

Came here for a work event. Rented one of the rooms and the staff was attentive to our needs. They turned up the A/c and fan when we complained it was too hot. Pretty quiet restaurant and lots of proper natural lighting. Otherwise ordered the 3-meat plate brisket, turkey, and jalapeño sausage x2 plates to-go. And got the potato salad and fried okras for our sides. There was a decent amount of food and plenty of okras. Fried okras had a good crisp to them and wasn't too full of breading. Brisket was slightly dry since they don't have lean brisket. And when I got home, realized they didn't pack me any sauces. So I was forced to eat the bbq without any sauce. Overall a decent experience. The failure to give bbq sauce didn't sit right with me though.

Haven't been here in a long time since retiring. Ordered through their drive thru. The barbecue was excellent. The ribs were the best I've had, fall off the bone, the sauce was delicious as well. Loved the Jambalaya and the potato salad would have like a bit mustard in it but that's me. My favorite dessert is Peach Cobbler and I loved especially the crust. Service was excellent and very friendly at the drive thru window. Will be back more often.

The food was good enough (what they had) but this place is going downhill fast. I ordered online and found out they had no chicken again. Got there and was told they also did not have the regular sausage I ordered. I asked them to delete it from the order, but they couldn't give me a refund because there was no manager on duty? Got my food home and discovered the marbled brisket in my Stonehouse trio was lean. It's a shame. This used to be my go-to bbq place. I will still go to Brookstreet, but to the one in Richmond, not the one in Sugar Land.

The food is pretty good, but doesn't match the price. Mac and cheese was amazing, though. Tables weren't wiped down and were sticky. Atmosphere is nice.

Never understand why they weigh the BQ sandwich before they give it to you with the meat on the bun. Seems to me you get less meat when they do this? If they are restricked to how much meat goes in a sandwich weigh it before you put it on the bun. Since I question things I always get a nasty response from the manager who just think I am a trouble maker.
