Brigs at the Park Restaurant

Really impressive menu for this little diner-style place in Durham. And looks like it's part of a small chain so looking forward to trying the other locations. My GF had the mixed berry pancakes - really good but she found herself wishing she had got the waffle done the same way. I had the coastal Benedict with blue crab and shrimp and it was definitely a winner. We also split an avocado toast - really the only thing we didn't like. Our waiter was "OK" - not very attentive and not able to make good recommendations because he doesn't eat meat or eggs and hasn't tasted most of the food, but a nice guy. There were other servers there who seemed more at home so hopefully next time we get one of them. All in all a good experience - will try again.

I liked this spot, very cute decor and nice staff. We waited about 35 mins and I'm not sure I would wait that long again. My husband loved his skillet. My shrimp and crab benedict was pretty good. I liked that it came with fresh fruit. The hollandaise was really tasty and the egg was poached well. On the other hand....The grits were drowning in butter and still pretty flavorless. I would definitely eat here again, the waffles looked amazing!

The food is very good, and the menu has lots of variety. My main reason for not eating there is that I seem to go at very very busy times. The noise is a real challenge for me and there are long waits for a table, for the food, and to pay the bill. They do have a good reputation and there is good parking, so I imagine that accounts for the things I don't like. I'm not likely to enjoy the ambiance. So. If you don't mind the things that I do mind, if you want a variety of selections and know you will be getting good food then you might just be willing to rate it with that fifth star

Solid breakfast place when you want something good and filling for the first meal of the day!

Brigs is awesome! Food comes out quickly and always hits the spot. It's also one of the more affordable breakfast spots in the area. Definitely advise coming if you're looking for standard breakfast food.

Breakfast time! My partner picked this place and honestly I wasn't expecting much. I've been struggling with food either being just okay during my visit in NC. This place though, super yummmmmmmy! It gives me old school diner vibes in the south and luckily they delivered. I got the shrimp and crab eggs benny (which is always a gamble getting eggs Benedict in public because everything can go wrong-- believe me). This one though was delicious and I still think about it. It had perfect poached eggs, yummy sauce, and lots of seafood underneath. It was a scrumptious experience and I didn't think it would fill me up but it did. The house fries are also so delicious I don't know how they make them but these are by far my favorite I've ever eaten. My partner got the croissant pancakes, grits, and eggs. It was his first time having grits, he didn't really like them, but I took a bite and these were really good. The eggs were basic, no frills. The croissant pancake was crispy, buttery, and sweet. Yum. I would recommend coming here for a chill and laidback meal with loved ones.

The WORKS Omelet - Bursting with flavorful ingredients such as Sausage, Ham, Bacon, Mushrooms, Bell Peppers, Carmalized Onions, Tomatoes and Cheddar - Jack with a side of Cheesy Grits and an English Muffin. Next up, The BEAST Omelet - This one is strictly for the carnivore lover as it's filled with Ham, Smoked Turkey, Bacon, Pork Sausage and Cheddar - Jack accompanied by Home Fried Potatoes and a Cinnamon & Raisin English Muffin. Chicken Tenders with Scrambled Eggs and Cheddar Cheese (Why? Because I LIKE ketchup on my eggs ) The Powdered Waffle goes with the Chicken and Eggs in the other picture. Fish and Fries with Aioli and Pita Bread can be seen behind the Waffle. Everything is better with BACON!! Especially when it's near closing and you are served almost a full pack. My friends and I came here on a Saturday around 10:30 and the wait was about 15 minutes for a table. The restaurant seemed to get busier with time, so definitely be prepared for a wait if you come around 11/12 on a weekend. The waitress who took our orders was so sweet and friendly. She was quick to refill drinks and overall very attentive. The food came out fairly quick considering how busy the place was. I ordered the Malibu omelette without cheese with a side of home fries and fruit. The omelette was really good, it was loaded with fresh vegetables and the eggs were super fluffy. At first I thought the serving of avocado was lacking based on the small slice on top, but there was actually more inside the omelet thankfully. The home fries were a little hard and cold, but that was my only complaint. The prices were not bad either! Final takeaway, this is a great & delicious brunch place if you've got an appetite and are not in a time crunch!

Food was good and the service was great. Seated quickly no long wait but sometimes it can be a bit of a wait. No complaints

Met one of my sisters at Brigs @ The Park Restaurant. This was her first time visiting and she was very impressed and really enjoyed the food and is still talking about those Pumpkin Spice Pancakes. She is very hard to please when it comes to her food but she praised me for considering we eat there. It had been about 12 years since I had been there and the place is still the same no new updates. The Food & Customer Service Was FANTASTIC!!
