I can tell you until you're brew in the face that neighbourhood bars in places like Buffalo and Milwaukee are far better, but by Houston standards, this is a nice pub to have in the suburbs. Watch out about driving home though.They're not too expensive (but not cheap either), and I haven't had anyone try to fight me here yet (which usually happens when I go in a bar), so I'd say all in all, it's well worth a trip if you're looking for a new neighbourhood bar.

Staff and general vibes have improved TREMENDOUSLY since I last visited this bar 6-7 months ago. Drink prices seem to have been reduced as well I've never really tried the food so can't really speak on that I would have given Brewskies a 1 star in the past buts a solid 4 seems appropriate, considering things contribute to trend upward

The bartenders are great and Kyle is funny AF and Chelsea is amazing. Great bar food too.

Pretty good bar food. Had a Philly, good, but kinda skimpy on the meat. Soda in a can for 2$ and tea 3$, pretty proud of that.

I am definitely not a regular here, so I can see why some people complained you will get ignored. However, having been here a few times, but not enough to stand out to the staff- I think most of that type of service is out the window. I think regulars do get special treatment, but the people who come visit are not getting ignored like they use too. Plus the staff smiles now. We once had a very grumpy looking guy giving us beers and cider. I was almost afraid to order from him again a few months back. The ambience and smoking are the two things that have me on the fence about this bar. There's nothing wrong with wanting to smoke a cigar. No judgement here. However, I don't want to be around it every time I go there. However, I do have to say it is cool that you can smoke a cigar there. I just know that's not for everyone. As for the vibe... The energy always feels very confused in there. Like, is this a chill bar? A sports bar? A neighborhood bar? It's like it wants to be so many things at once and can't quite make it work. The crowd is diverse. I've seen my old elderly church friends go there and hot chicks in their 20s wearing what 20 year old hot chicks wear. Everyone keeps to their own little circles. Food is generally okay. I think beer prices went up a bit, however the cider is decent. Not sure if the choices are limited or if I'm just picky. I think I'm picky-with cider at least. This place probably makes a great neighborhood bar. I just haven't invested enough time to call it my own. I pretty much am in love with my favorite bar elsewhere. However, I wouldn't count this place out yet. The fact the staff is friendlier now than before tells me they are doing their best to bring customers back. I just don't think they've found their niche yet, and I'm not quite convinced they are full fledged neighborhood bar just yet. Best time to check this place out is during a baseball game to get a feel for what to expect. And let me know if you like this place. I'm definitely willing to keep coming back since they are improving and with time, and hopefully with time it'll need an update review about how awesome it has become.

Takes forever to get a drink and the bartenders are always trying to f**k my wife. Hole in the wall but has some good music from time to time.

I'm a regular here. These bartenders are clowns. They only take care their own ppl and make other people wait forever. Jorge actually owes me money and pays me with free drinks. Smfh. Anyways, so I was kicked out and just demanded my money back. These two clowns decided to jump me. They lucky I didn't call the cops. Cuz fatty Britney Spears was threateningbto call cops on me? Ha

I've been here 10000 times not once has any bartenders asked for IDs the one time I don't have mines she wants me to refuse service but didn't ID anyone else . Brewskis sucks now

This new bartender ( he is bald) but great service an the absolute best place to catch a game

We are not local in town for work they treated us great and kelp the drinks coming it was a awesome place!!!
