Came here for a late night snack. There was an "open sign" so we went through the drive through, and they had closed the blinds. We thought okay maybe drive through is closed. We saw somebody waiting outside knocking on the door. I asked him if the door wasLocked. He says yes but he sees a guy in there cooking and a lady doing nothing. I'm confused how you still have haven't open sign on but locked the doors and not serving anybody. The worst! I believe they are 24 hours, with the doors locked! Brenda's has 4 locations, this one being the 2nd.After living 7 years in the general neighborhood and having ate at their Gessner location a few years back, I stopped in to this one earlier in the week, before making another visit to the Gessner location.I returned a 2nd time to this location, yesterday evening.The interior is your typical Fast Food Joint looking place and that's different than the original's lookThe place SHOULD be much busier than it is, despite the sketchy neighborhood it borders, on Bissonnet at Woodfair.Don't let the empty parking dissuade you from dining in, or doing takeout, including the drive-thru.It is perfectly placed, located as it is between the 59 & Beltway 8, but has the unfortunate fate of having a Pappa's as a close neighbor, a Whataburger near the 59, and a Popeye's near BW 8.3 Metro Buses can be caught on the corner and the Westwood Park & Ride is an easy walk nearby.The counter lady was friendly.The menu is varied and the prices affordable.It is Open 24 hour 7 days a week.I had the Burger & Fries and the Pechuga De Pollo Chicken Breast Burrito both of my visits, doing takeout.All very tasty and recommended.I will return to try other items on the menu.

Food was great ! Atmosphere, AWFUL. Super loud on a Friday evening . Lol & bc of how loud it was we asked to get moved outside & there were Mice ! there were at lest 2 or 3 running around the patio where we were sitting at beneath our table ! They should get an exterminator out there ASAP There was a bit of language barrier with the servers too .

I ordered the shrimp burrito dinner with a side of fries and a lemonade ... very huge portions ! The taste is just "okay" for the price and it came very quick to the table. This is one of those convenient mom and pop shops , and you get what you pay for , service was fast and friendly . No complaints. And LEMONADE TASTES DELICIOUS !

Ordered the chichorron , chicken amd steak tacos and burrito and it was so good. These are real tacos with cilantro and onions..not the fake ones..the burrito was smothered in real cheese and stuffed with rice, beans, meat, avocado and sour cream

It was very quiet when I went in on Saturday night at 8. I live very close and it's usually quiet. I order a beef fajita chimichanga dinner to go. It took about 10-15 minutes for it to come out. I got a chicken chimichanga instead of beef, BUT it's delicious! I'm actually glad I got chicken. The Horchata is very good. A good amount of spice to it. I will be returning for a quick good dinner!

Ordered crispy beef tacos. We received over cooked shells & that taste of the shells was cooked in old oil & over cooked. The meat was good. I will not be returning! the smell in restaurant is horrendous!

Tried it a couples of days ago for the first time, and right now I'm waiting for my order to be ready. If I came back is just cuz I really liked them. Service's good, thru polite...I ordered 10 tacos and I was impressed not only for how delicious they were but for how much meat every single taco had...they were packed. 100% Recomended...AAA+

Great authentic food, great service. Completely recommend to anyone that's hungry for good Mexican food

Brendas is a Houston staple. Good place for some quick cheap tacos. Very yummy and their margaritas are tasty
