Try something new. Service and the food was excellent. Nice quaint and cozy spot. So my brother said you're supposed to have fish and grits and potatoes. They fried that fish okay. Seasoned and crisp. Grits were warm, eggs soft and potatoes tasty. The cornbread was made in a waffle iron. Cool idea, but I probably should've asked for some butter. Overall, everything was really delightful. I would for sure go again.

My mom got the oatmeal pancakes, worst thing I've ever tasted. Couldn't finish my banana foster French toast. Took about 40 minutes for the food to come out and they had us pay with some strange device instead of just taking the card to the back. The decor was nice but couldn't save the meal. I am definitely not coming back.

Ordered the steak and eggs. Came out at a decent time despite it being a busy weekend lunch rush. Eggs were cooked well and the food warm when I ate it. The steak was a little chewier than I would have liked, but still overall yummy. The staff were kind and friendly and helped me and the other customers again. The ambiance was warm and welcoming. Nicely lit an the tables were clean. Would recommend coming back again.

In general the cafe is clean, staff is pleasant and truly courteous. It is small inside but the atmosphere makes up for it. The food is generally delicious. On this visit I had the Chicken and Waffles with a side of grits. You never smell the food being prepared which is a good sign. With the kitchen downstairs no smells of grease or anything else wafts upstairs. I was pleased with the waffle as it tasted great and I don't eat syrup so the fact that it tasted delicious without anything on it says a lot. The chicken wings were crispy freshly cooked and would have tasted great if not for the hint of grease. Seems like someone dropped it into the fish grease instead of the chicken grease. That is the only fault I found. Other than that I enjoy eating there. The omelets the fish everything is always cooked fresh and great. Kudus to the staff for answering questions with patience.

Save your time and go somewhere else! From walking through the door and waiting to be greeted while the staff sat up front, to finally being seated and waiting 20 mins to have drink and food orders taken, to waiting an HOUR and still NO FOOD ... we left (party of 6).Tried reaching out to management, no response.Unacceptable service!!!
