This buffet has a few dishes with unique twists rather than the same old choices that other Indian buffets might offer. With construction going on at neighboring businesses, they need to put up a bright sign that says, "Open"I was seriously going to keep driving, but luckily, I decided to call to see if they were actually open. Staff was attentive and helpful. Good value.

From the outside, the entrance was quite uninviting, and I wasn't sure if the place was even open. Once inside, I found the restaurant to be very large, but the atmosphere was a bit daunting. The host desk was situated all the way at the back, and there were no clear signs indicating what we were supposed to do.Despite the initial confusion, the staff was friendly and helpful once we found them. However, we did sit at our table for about 10 minutes before anyone came to speak to us. On a positive note, the food was excellent. The portions were generous, and the flavors were spot-on. We split a biryani, and even with sharing, we had leftovers to take home. Overall, while the experience started off shaky, the quality of the food made up for it.

Let's call this place BoB. It doesn't look like much outside, but you'll want to check out the lunch buffet. It's in the middle of a quiet plaza, and resides in what used to be a night club. The service is prompt and stays out of the way. The buffet has a nice variety of foods which includes naan, rice, vegetarian options, curries, chickens, and more. Of course you'll find some Gulab Jamun which hits your sweet tooth.Overall a spacious place that could use an interior designer's touch to make it feel more lived in and inviting, but the food is pretty good.

I'm going to echo a lot of other reviews when I say I was 99% sure this place was closed when I pulled up, and was very confused when I walked inside. But none of that really matters because the food was AMAZING. I ordered myself a ton of takeout as a birthday treat and had leftovers for days. Ate it three days straight and could have eaten it for another three. Drown me in Malai Kofta.

Good food and place tucked in an unnoticed location. Service was great as well, as was the ambiance.

I thought my multiple visits here was worth the effort for the price, both off the menu & buffet, that led to satiety from the variety offered. The pictures I snapped speak for themselves. I can't speak to any other individual experiences, but I did notice some strange circumstances. Regarding hygiene, I was appalled that a restaurant as this does not work with a hospitality company as Cintas or dedicated janitors to maintain regularly mopped hardwood floors. WTF. I felt odd walking around as my shoes were noticably making noise from stickyness my first few times in fall. Luckily there was a puddle outside that one night to sanitize my footwear or the feeling whether it was doing me any good for me to wipe my feet on the rugs multiple times near the front or not. I think they fixed this though, I don't know, I hated jobs when I was much younger involving cleaning, so what are you going to do?You basically want to not have their wait staff interfere too much, there's plenty of room & seating, so just ask them not be bothered unless you speak to them, especially after reading the situation about gloves &/or a likely lack of hand-washing, I don't know, buffets only going forward I guess. I feel undecided to invite any family or friends as I'd hate for their picky criticisms to ruin my own continued experiences. The service people seem like decent people & I hate to create scenes, but I'd rather just address the issue with a potential fix, so that any risk of a bad taste in my mouth is mitigated.Once a wait guy began to remove my plate without being done while I was dining & I hate being interrupted without being finished. WTH; can't you see there is food on the plate? I'm not a waster. Are you in a rush? Can't you see I'm eating? But then I realized my napkin was inadvertently left on the plate...ANYWAYAlthough I don't understand why Indian cooking is defined by cooking chicken half a dozen to a dozen different ways, there is enough seafood, mutton, liquids, & veggies to make this one of the best places, they use spices as star anise, black cardamom & the curries taste spot-on with the right type of flavor with everything as seeds, curry leaves, styles of biryani rice, types of courses, desserts, etc etc etc - definitely go on an empty stomach.

We ordered take out from here, and while I agree it looks unsuspecting from the outside, the food at Bowl o Biryani is really good! We made sure to ask for everything to be made with mild spice, and it was still quite spicy. We look forward to coming back soon to try more dishes here!

I had take out while traveling for work. The restaurant had no one in it, like it was carry out only on a Monday. Very large portion of tikka masala, the naan was excellent and I even got the mango drink. Very flavorful, very hot even with a 7 minute ride back to the hotel.

Came here for lunch with my mom on a Thursday afternoon. It looked closed, but it wasn't. We had lunch specials. I had the butter chicken, which came with rice and naan; my mom had veg biriyani. Both came with dessert (gulab jamun) and an appetizer. The veg came with onion pakoras and non-veg with tandoori chicken, but I asked for pakoras instead. The pakoras were delicious so glad I did! I also got the idly/Vada combo, which came with chutneys, but no sambhar. The Vada was fresh and delicious, but the idli was pretty dense like they didn't let the batter rise long enough. I would def come back here.

Don't judge a book by its cover. Located in a distressed looking strip mall, but once you're inside the restaurant you'll immediately be forgiving. Large seating area. Clean interior. The service is a bit slow, which can be improved. The dishes are yummy! You will not be disappointed. A must try!
