As I look across the street to Boston Common park, the start of the "Freedom Trail" we sit here sipping on our Java and having a breakfast sandwich. I come to realize that this coffee shop spectacular! Not a better way to start our day here in Boston. If you are looking for a place to stop and refuel than stop here because you won't be disappointed.

Nice atmosphere heavy on wood and antique decor. Seats a little too close together, but better that than not enough seats. Coffee: Went with a Honduran pour-over, which was weak and watery for the price tag, but did have some of the descriptors.Blueberry Muffin: Good size, very dense and kind of a Play-Doh texture, not that that's a bad thing. Not that sweet, also not that that's a bad thing. Had an odd cheese-danish-y flavor though.Would love to give this place another try even though they didn't wow me. Some of the other items in the pastry case looked interesting.

I think it's overrated. It is a tight place and the people were with a very flat affect. The coffee was nothing to remember. I would work on this feedback, they definitely have a great potential given their premium location. This is coffee shop number 3785 I try..

Thinking cup is a delightful place to spend an afternoon. The ambiance is cozy, and the crowd that visits here tends to be quiet but plentiful. The line can certainly build up, but the staff is helpful and affable. The last time I was here I had a cup of earl grey tea. I appreciate that they serve the tea in a teapot so that I don't have to refill the pot with more hot water as I would a lone mug. I also got one of their grilled cheese sandwiches, which was well cooked and flavorful. That being said, my main gripe about Thinking cup is its lack of power outlets. I often come here to enjoy a space outside of my home while I work, and that means I need a power source for my computer. I've been able to find literally one in the entire shop, and it's not at all conveniently located. I would love to see this change so that Thinking Cup can become one of my regular work spots. As it stands, the food and service are excellent, but it's not the most convenient place for me to spend my time.

Extremely rude and not welcoming at all! The skinny guy with glasses, Boston cap, and black sweater with flowers was extremely rude and was soft spoken and was impatient when I couldn't hear him. Coffee was delicious and the sandwich was okay. I won't try this location again but will check out the other two.

Very friendly service! My latte was very good. I also ordered a bagel with jam. I did enjoy the vibe of this place!

While the cafe itself was fairly spacious with ample seating, the matcha latte I ordered was one of the worst I've ever had. It was flavorless, although the price was on par with what you'd expect. Even so, the staff were nice and my bland matcha came out quick. I wouldn't come back here to try other items given the other options in the area.

If you're in the Boston area, this is a great place to stop and pick up a coffee or grab a quick sandwich! Loved the grilled cheese! The breakfast sandwich was average at best. Vibes were good!

I've been to Thinking Cup a handful of times and it's always packed, even though there's plenty of seating. It's located right on Newbury Street, so it's no wonder it's a popular spot! I usually come more for the vibes and to hang out for a bit if I'm walking around the area, which is what people there seem to be doing there most of the time.I haven't tried any of their food items, but they've got all the café classes. If I was hungry, I'd probably go to Tatte instead. However, this has more of a typical café feel if that's more of your vibe. I'll be back!

The coffee tasted old, the staff was rude, and there was no Wi-Fi. The ambiance was loud. They do have plenty of seating though. Overall, a disappointing experience that I would not recommend.
