Vivian C. "Sometimes the only option for delivery is a third party service such as GrubHub or UberEats or DoorDash. Well, that's not the case for Lemon Thai. They offer to take both delivery or pickup orders on their website (http://www.lemonthai.com/) through Toast. The delivery fee seemed reasonable at first glance, unlike the inflated prices deliver apps often offer on top of their delivery fees, but I was placing an order for a friend and she was happy to pick it up as she made her way home.Order placing was simple enough. Prices for their carb dishes were quite reasonable summer 2022 at $12-13. I like Thai, and it is a cuisine that works well for their dairy constraint. And if you set up an account with Toast, you can earn points. (I hope those don't expire...)Can't judge the food myself though since I didn't get to eat it. But they live in the neighborhood, and didn't balk at my consideration of Lemon Thai for this meal, so that says something.Steamed Thai Dumplings (7 pieces) $8Crispy Chicken Pad Thai $13Pork Pad See You $12"

Peter C. "It is connected to Puritan and Co, but has a completely separate menu. First off, service was awesome. Greeted by a guy who was either an owner or the absolute best manager ever. He offered up menus for both Puritan and Co and the Puritan oyster bar to let me decide which place I wanted to sit. Super friendly guy and just seemed like he was made for this business. I didn't expect him to be so accommodating, but it immediately set this place up for 5 stars. The space is so nice. Feels like a cape cod eatery. You definitely get the ocean vibe. It's spacious and nicely decorated. Food was awesome. Lobster roll was delicious. Comes in hot buttered or mayo style. Fries were crispy too. Salmon crudo was refreshing. I could have eaten another plate. Definitely get this dish. Caviar cone had a cool presentation. Also tasty. Yellowtail tacos were fresh and yummy. I could eat quite a few of these. The place does great small plates. I highly recommend getting a mix of things. It was all fresh. They do a selection of oysters too. With the oysters are squeeze bottles of toppings. Brilliant. Cocktails were good too. One had an oyster vodka. Overall... you need to go here. Best spot in Cambridge for small, fresh seafood plates with great flavors. I'll be back."

Peter C. "The dollar oysters are an incredible deal. Most places with dollar oysters feel like you're getting the left over, tiny oysters that aren't so fresh and about to expire. This place has huge oysters. So sweet and not salty. I will be returning for this deal every week. The short rib egg rolls were also awesome. Not greasy and so flavorful. I was really impressed. I will certainly try more things here but the oysters have won me over. This hands down might be the best spot for happy hour. The only problem is how close to my gym it is. Haha."

Rooty T. "First time to eat at Los Cabo's was on a Saturday afternoon around 2:00. The restaurant was not too busy so we were seated right away. Warm chips were served with freshly made mild salsa. We prefer hotter salsa so we add a few drops of Tabasco to spice it up. Started with jalapeño margarita which was spicy, strong and delicious. For lunch we had the pork carnitas with black beans, Spanish rice and a small side of guacamole. The carnitas was served hot, nicely seasoned and very tender. Also had a pick 2 combo: chicken mole enchilada and a cheese chili relleno. The relleno pepper was soft, cheesy and tasty. Mole sauce had a nice flavor. We'll definitely be back!"

Joy G. "Cute eatery in the South End, but you definitely pay out the nose. Lunch for me and my cousin ended up being around $120 including tip (talk about sticker shock). I had been looking for a place that does one dollar oysters - Black Lamb has $2 oysters every weekday (all day on Monday and it ends at 5pm on Tuesday-Friday) - the ones we got that day were a tad on the puny side and quite briny. Overall, not my favorite, I'm partial to the West Coast ones. I also wasn't a fan of any of the three sauces they gave. Usually, I'm big into the cocktail sauce/horseradish, but they gave the two in the same cup and the ratio was too much horseradish, not enough cocktail sauce. We got the pickle plate and the parker house rolls with pimento cheese. The pickles didn't do it for me but I'm also not big on sour. The house rolls were the bomb - get the pimento cheese with it (the $4 was well-spent). The village salad was a tiny, tiny amount of vegetables for $16. Yes, I'm still bitter days later. I was thinking it might be big enough for an entree and wish I had thought to ask before putting in the order. I basically ate the whole thing in five minutes and watched my cousin devour her duck leg (which, incidentally, was quite a generous portion) for the rest of lunch. Surely, they could've coughed up some more heirloom tomatoes and cucumbers for that price? Our waiter was nice and personable! He gave ample warning about the bees in the outdoor area. Parking: It's the South End. Walk or take public transport instead."

Alan B. "Our party of five wanted to dine outside, and we were promptly seated on their large deck. The Marina Restaurant has a great deck, on the ocean with umbrellas. Most of our party was shaded during our lunch, two diners had difficulty remaining out of the full sun. On the weekends, they defer to their dinner menu, so portions are large, and the prices are set accordingly. We selected:* Baked Haddock* Bacon Cheeseburger * Bowl of Chowder* Eggplant Rolitini* Seared TunaThe haddock was described as tasty, the eggplant dense and heavy, the cheeseburger and chowder good, and the seared tuna was good, though slightly sinewy and difficult to cut. The tuna was prepared as two large pieces (it was a large portion), I'd have preferred it if it was cut into a series of thinner slices. Also at $38, it compared unfavorably to Hemenway's in Providence, which has a much better dish and is $36. Further, The Marina Restaurant Tuna dish included a very modest seaweed salad, and a more substantial traditional salad on the plate. As we were already getting a salad with our entrees (more on that in a minute), I would have preferred a more substantial seaweed salad. Our entrées included a salad served in a large bowl for the table. It was a traditional garden salad, mainly lettuce and tomato with some onion, with an Italian style house dressing. It was good, standard fare. There was plenty for everyone, nobody had seconds.Overall, I'd describe the food as fairly good, the service very good and the deskside venue very nice. The bill total (no alcohol) was $143 with tip, and an overall four-star dining experience on this day."

Judie K. "Since it's fairly new, I don't know if a lot of people know this place yet but it was fairly empty when we visited. Quiet and quick attentive service. I would say the prices range from fair to a bit on the pricier end -- would say this is like an upscale Colombian restaurant. For drinks, we got the lulu and papaya milk drinks -- both were SO creamy, well blended and delicious. The lulu milk was sour and sweet in a good way and the papaya was very sweet -- and I was glad you could taste the papaya. They have these milk drinks in other flavors like mango, passion fruit, soursop and more -- definitely will be coming back to try more!I was debating between three entrees so the waitress recommended us the lengua criolla. She mentioned it's softer and moist (you could choose between the criolla aka saucy/stew-like or the plancha aka grilled but she said plancha is a bit drier since it's grilled). Y'all, this did not disappoint!! Hands down one of my new favorite entrees that I would definitely order again. The lengua was moist indeed and I was surprised how tender they made this to be. The sauce was flavorful as well. My husband got their shrimp and beef picadillo -- the shrimp was really tasty and they gave a reasonable amount in it. The beef was good but a bit stiff. My husband came once before and he really enjoyed their grilled chicken the most and said he would definitely want to order that again (over the shrimp and beef picadillo dish). Lastly, for dessert, we tried their tres leches. It wasn't bad but I wouldn't say it's my favorite. Compared to other tres leches, it is drier and more similar to a normal vanilla cake. So far, my favorite tres leches in the Boston area is at Dona habana. Otherwise, this Colombian restaurant has a lot of wonderful gems that are worth trying!"

When I arrived, the bar and restaurant downstairs were packed, and the hostess nicely and smartly recommended I check out the upstairs when I mentioned I wanted to eat at the bar. The ambiance throughout was that of a typical Irish pub. The menu options were excellent, and there were several items I would like to try. They gave us a bowl of bread with parmesan cheese, crushed red paper, salt, pepper, and olive oil already on the table so we could create our own little dip for the bread. We all got drinks and dinner and everyone truly enjoyed it from start to finish. I got the chicken parm and it was delicious! Now for the star(s) of the show: midway through dinner, two guys started singing Italian songs while all the tables were seated and eating. Everyone loved it and started singing/clapping/laughing and all around was having such a good time. Moments like this truly makes going out to dinner a night to remember. For appetizers we shared Pupusas lorroco and revueltas as well as Chicharron con yucca frita. The pupusas were larger than usual and came out pretty quick. They tasted good but fell apart very easily. Chicharron was crispy with the fatty layer still slightly soft and easier to chew into than usual. I personally would have liked the yucca fried for longer so that I could see more of a separation between the layers but still yummy with the pink sauce, tomato sauce and cabbage salad. Kev O. "What would a visit to Boston be without at least trying their Lobster Rolls eh? Having done some research as to the best places for some really good Boston lobster rolls, we stumbled across Luke's, and fortunately for us, there happened to be one just across from our hotel. And yea, it's a fast food joint, and I hardly ever give such good ratings for fast food outlets, but this place deserves an exception. The menu can be a bit confusing for any first timer as there are many combinations of rolls that you can order that come with with a number of different seafoods, flavors, sides, and drinks. Or, you can just order the classic Lobster Roll with Lemon Butter.Either the person taking your order will see how bewildered, overwhelmed, and confused you look and ask if this is your first time there, or just tell them that this is your first time there and he/she will take out and show you one of their hidden photo menus and explain everything to you.So, since this was our first time there, it was recommended we try one of the "Flights" of mini rolls to try, so that we can which flavors and seafoods we really liked. I went ahead and ordered the Seafood Flight.....which comes with one each of the mini lobster, crab, and shrimp rolls.....and this came with a bag of chips (which you help yourself to) and a drink. Unfortunately, no alcohol is served here.....which was so disappointing to my wife as she loves her cold brewsky with any meal. Anyway, she knew exactly what she wanted and went ahead and ordered the Lobster Flight....or three mini lobster rolls with lemon, spicy honey, and truffle flavors. And just to complete our meal, we went ahead and ordered one Lobster Bisque and one Clam Chowder soup.WOW! Everything we ordered was amazingly delicious! It is also worth mentioning that the rolls were not too thick too...and didn't overwhelm the seafood, and once grilled with some butter, it had a nice light crunch to its thin crust...and tasted amazing along with the combination of the freshest and perfectly flavored seafood. After taking just one bite, you can tell that this was Lobster (or seafood) Roll perfection! The amount of lobster, crab, shrimp in each roll was also very generous.....unlike the lobster roll we had at a full service restaurant a couple of days ago.The lobster bisque and clam chowder were also nice and thick, full of ingredients, and absolutely delicious!......but be careful not to sit at the table right under the cold blowing AC or your soup will get cool fast.Oh ya, those small bags of kettle chips that came with each order....yea, they were so good too! Went great with the rolls as it added some nice and yummy crunch to the meal.Needless to say, my wife and I were totally enjoyed our lunch and were so impressed by the quality of Luke's lobster/seafood rolls. So much so that after we were done with the lobster and seafood flights, we went back and ordered a regular Lobster Roll, just because they were so addictive, and we just couldn't get enough of it! This was an excellent experience for sure.....so much so that we came back here again the following day when the rest of our visiting guests arrived. Yes, lobster rolls in Boston are not cheap at all......a lunch for a group of five of us on the second day's visit came to about $250...the most expensive fast food meal I had ever paid for in my life......but oh boy! ....it was so worth it! :D"

Even on a busy weekday night, I could still hear the people across from and sitting next to me (not a fan of places where you come out of dinner with a sore throat from having to yell to be heard). However, the food was not as good as I hoped, particularly given the price point. We ordered 5 dishes from the main menu, which turned out to be a perfect amount of food (our waitress recommended 6-8 for three people), and a dessert. My favorites were the tuna d'nuja, or minced tuna with Calabrian chili (the bread on the side, however, was way too burnt), the bucatini, and the dark chocolate bread pudding. The bucatini in particular was cooked perfectly. That said, a few of the other dishes were too heavy on the salt for my preference, including the chickpea pancake and the sprouting cauliflower. Our waitress was wonderful and patient in going over the various dishes on the menu. Overall, though, it was about $180 for three people, so not a cheap dinner, and I was still hungry after we left. I was worried we had ordered more than we could finish. Nobody listened. We just about did it. I hate to waste food. I was more than prepared for the race.We had chopped salad, the chips, lobster mac and cheese, chicken meatballs, fava beans, mussels, and a whole fish. The salad had a few tiny peppers, round ones that were just right for me but too hot for my wife. The chips are made of zucchini and eggplant, alternating, served with tzatziki, cut so thin it must have been done with one of those scary mandolins and fried by someone whose hand and timing are experienced and perfect. The lobster made and cheese is what the runners consumed for calories. Although the chicken meatballs are not my favorite dish, these were about the best I have tried. Fava beans are something I always think to myself I ought to have more of. The mussels were the smaller type my wife favors. The fish was great, fresh and at a midpoint between flaky and meaty and fishy and not. I had non alcoholic beer. That is a product that has been improved greatly. The complimentary bread was served with their house brand olive oil.The server was attentive. The manager (or maitre d or more important server, in a pink jacket from the Miami Vice catalog, a compliment and not a criticism -- I'd like to have one of those) came by to check on things. They were busy. That's a good sign. The whole neighborhood was bustling. As a New Yorker, I get to Boston maybe every other year. I don't remember this area as being so popular. Michael X. "I really wanted to try a solid lobster roll while visiting Boston and Alive & Kicking Lobsters was recommended as an delicious place to stop by to fulfill that wish. I stopped by Alive and Kicking on a Wednesday around noon to check this place out.Parking seems to be mostly streetside to the restaurant, as it feels like its located just in a neighborhood as there are residential houses/apartments surrounding the location. Service is casual, you order your food at the cash register and they hand you a number, and then someone brings out your food to the corresponding tray, and you bus your own tables afterwards. As for food, the lobster sandwich was specifically recommended as the item to get while stopping by. This is a very solid lobster sandwich! As you can see in the photos, it is literally jam packed with lobster - there is no skimping, and the lobster is an inch thick from crust to crust. There isn't too much added to the lobster other than a slight bit of mayo I think, and also the bread is really plain too - which really highlights the freshness of the lobster. Each toothsome bite is satisfying, and you'll finish the sandwich before you know it. Though it is almost $40 for a sandwich, most places seem to offer an "overstuffed" lobster roll for a similar price that doesn't even have that much more lobster than the standard lobster roll. I would say for Boston, this was one of the better places that I've tried during my visit. Though the price may be hefty to some, you definitely get what you pay for! The sandwich is absolutely loaded with lobster and it tastes pretty fresh, a very solid lobster related option in comparison to the other rolls that I have tried so far in the area - I would definitely revisit if I'm in Boston and looking to splurge on a delicious lobster meal."
