I've been going to this place more regularly. This is not a sit-down type of place, you stand in a line, order and get your order when your name is called. They have a decent grilled cheese and sandwich menu, and also have some shakes. I've had the three-cheese grilled cheese sandwich (classic three cheese), the grilled cheese sandwich with tomato (rookie melt), and the broccoli and cheddar melt. The broccoli and cheddar sandwich is my favorite grilled cheese entree here. It has a little bit of red pepper in it, and it definitely adds a different dimension You can never go wrong with it, and it always make me feel happy after I get a nice carb dump here. I recently tried the double fried chicken sandwich with hot honey, and I really regret not trying this sooner. It was crispy, meaty, and the hot honey flavor added some sweetness to the texture that I liked very much. Totally recommend this place if you are craving grilled cheese or even a burger.

Food truck can be as expensive as a sit down lunch in a local restaurant. So finding this filling lunch option for a mere $8 couldn't passed up It's filling but not over powering like a 10" sandwich that's bound to put you to sleep after lunch. This sandwich is full of hearty flavor, butternut squash, cheese and caramelized onions on butter toasted breadUmm mmmm good! I'll add soup with it the next time.

I have been going to roxys since they had a single food truck parking around Boston. I have NEVER been disappointed and every grilled cheese, lemonade, tots, and poutine have been phenomenal. I make sure to find time to stop here every time I'm in Boston. Must go!

Grilled cheese is such a classic, you'd think you couldn't make it any better, but Roxy's just takes it to another level. They are hearty enough to split, but why do that when you can each get a different flavor and then share??The buttery, meaty sandwiches pair perfectly with the lemonade. This is definitely worth your time, even as a snack between lunch and dinner. You can't go wrong!

Roxy's catered at my work for our annual company meeting. If you're a cheese lover like me, you'll definitely enjoy this cheesy goodness. I had the three cheese for lunch and it was mighty tasty. Each meal had truffle tater tots with a cookie. All delicious. The meals were paper bagged and handed to each person. There were tons of left overs so I took a bag home as well. Brought home bacon avocado, tossed it in the air fryer and tasted great as well. Sucked that the cookie in this bag wasn't fully wrapped. Ah well, Sh*t happens. I'm digging the three cheese more though. Definitely one of my favorite grilled cheese I've had. Cheers to cheese.

This is for the truck that shows up in Dewey Square and Rowe's Wharf.I love you.So far I've tried the one with the short rib, the one with bacon and hot honey, the ham and cheese, the classic, truffle tots and the spicy tomato soup. Everything has been wonderfully fresh and flavorful. Some days are faster than others, but never had a long wait. The help has come and gone but always quick and courteous. The price is in line with the area trucks. For about 12 bucks I get lunch.I also like the fresh flavored lemonades when they are available. Always the real deal, delicious and refreshing.I have to hit up one of the brick and mortar locations.

I usually see a couple of people lined up to get grilled cheese from this food truck so I wanted to give it a try.I ordered the original 3 cheese. The sandwich was grilled nicely but it was also doused with butter. the cheese was good but as it started to cool, it became like a solid brick. So I guess once you get your sandwich eat it as quickly as possible. And honestly, if you want to eat a ton of butter and cheese then this is for you. I was dissatisfied with my sandwich and my stomach started to hurt from all the grease. I probably won't be returning to Roxy's again.

I have a confession to make that hopefully will not void my Boston foodie license: This is actually my first trip to Roxys since I moved here 2.5 years ago. The nationally acclaimed grilled cheese food truck did not disappoint. This is how you take a childhood favorite and elevate it next level. A simplistic menu, but one not lacking in creativity. Exhibit A: my choice, the Muenster, which included bacon and guacamole. Great sandwich, period. The truffle fries were also well done and the portion size could without doubt feed 2-3 people. Not sure what took me so long, but its easy to see why Roxys is the gold standard of the food truck scene.

May present a little confusion, as we were at the Boston Convention Center and this was not the food truck but was set up as a food stand.Otherwise, a great intoduction. The grilled cheese with roasted tomatoes was very good. The tator tots were quite enjoyable, nice blend of herbs. They were a little strong for my wife, she did not particularly like them. More for me!Would be inclined to check out again, I like the concept. Simple, yet delicious food.

Went to the Allston location. One couple was eating in and one guy showed up for a takeout order. I ordered a grilled cheese with bacon and fries to go. The grilled cheese was burnt and did not have any bacon. The fries tasted like they were from under or over ripe potatoes- not good at all. I was surprised. There were pinball machines that looked fun and the table where I waited for my order was clean. Maybe just an off day in the kitchen?
