A friend recommended Rowes Wharf Bar as we were walking through the Boston Seaport. We were easily able to get a table on a Saturday evening. We enjoyed the complimentary chips and nuts. The drink menu boasts a fancy twist on traditional cocktails. We ordered a round of the Forbidden Fruit drink and we all loved it! We loved the antique feel of this bar and definitely would go back!

Stopped in for a post game snack after another great Bruins game. The Rowes Wharf Bar at the Boston Harbor Hotel aka the "Dark Bar." Pleasantly decorated apropos mood lit Wharf room, comfortable seating and the noise level is perfect for any conversation or meeting chat. Sat down in a comfy booth, accompaniments were a bowl of olives, almonds and house made malt vinegar potato chips. Nice drinks and late night menu. Our server, Mary Ellen was excellent. Friendly, attentive, polite, courteous and knowledgeable. Gave us some great recommendations to order. We ordered the nutty Irishman and the wagyu steak burger. Absolutely delicious and prepared to perfection. The Rowes Wharf Bar is a hidden 5 star gem to the gorgeous 5 star Boston Hotel. Perfect end for a date night. Highly recommend. Will definitely return again soon.

Speak easy feel tucked away in wharf side hotel. Wonderful selection of bourbons, whiskeys, and craft cocktails. Our server was so incredibly attentive and gave some great recommendations. We loved the vibe and the drink selection, especially for a later evening after dinner in the north end. Didn't try the food, given the kitchen was closed. This is a hotel bar, so expect some higher prices.

I was in Boston for a conference and we decided to try Rowes Wharf bar. We had the best service and food. Our server was Danny and she was unbelievable. She was so welcoming and pleasant. We never had to ask for anything. Top notch. We would definitely come back and request Danny.5 stars. Very comfortable setting.

Classic dark, woody bar with what may legitimately be the best clam chowder in the world.

This is the most comfortable you will ever be at a bar. Ask for Mary Ellen and you will have the best service, best drinks, and best night you have had in a while. The ambiance is relaxed with dim lighting and the best bar in the city for a conversation. This bar is the most underrated bar is Boston I would very highly recommend. Mary Ellen, don't forget the name!

First off I have to acknowledge Mary Ellen, the server, who made a great experience even better. She knows her mixology and its history. I don't think there is any question that she would have trouble answering. The libations are really unique and tasty, served up in a flash! The bar menu has something for everyone. I loved the the Lobster Bao bun and Ahi Tuna Flatbread. They serve signature cocktails as well as any cocktail you may fancy. Mary Ellen can suggest a perfect wine pairing for any food you may order.
