The best lobster roll I have had in a long time. It's pricey but what isn't nowadays. The oyster selection is spot on too. I got to try a couple of new varieties and was so happy with the freshness and accompaniments were yummy. I dined there twice in my 4 day stay. Both times sat at the bar solo. Good news you can usually get a seat at the bar. Bad news the service could have been better. It was fine but each time the servers/bartenders just seemed to go through the motions. Overall solid place in the seaport for fresh seafood.

Came here for lunch to meet up with a cousin. There are several locations, and we chose this one by the seaport area. I was in the mood for seafood, so we came and ordered a lot of food. To start, I had a clam chowder soup and shared the crab cake. The clam chowder was very salty. As for the crab cake, the presentation was nice, with lots of veggies. The crab cake hid beneath the veggies and I wonder if it's to hide the small size of it all. Taste wise, it was alright. For my main, I had a lobster roll. Although rhetorical portions were plentiful, it was the most expensive lob roll I've ever had. It came will chips and some slaw like veggies. My cousin ordered a crab fried rice. That was pretty good and it even came with a fried egg! Yum Another check off the bucket list. T'was aite. For what I paid, I expected a little more.

Made a last minute reservation here for a Thursday lunch and they managed to squeeze us in! We actually wanted to have dinner here the day prior, but they were fully booked so we were excited they had some space today. We arrived about 15 minutes earlier than our reservation but they checked us in and we got seated in about 10 minutes. I don't drink often, so I was happy to see a pretty good selection of zero proof cocktails! I got the seedlip one and was very happy with it. For food, we ordered calamari for the table and we all agreed it was probably the best we've had. It was battered perfectly and the texture was amazing -- not rubbery at all. All of us ordered the warm buttered lobster roll and it was no surprise that it was sooooo good. You can really taste the lobster and the bread is also so soft and fluffy. The roll comes with some (what I'm assuming is) house-made potato chips that were perfectly fried. They were light, not overly crispy and best of all weren't insanely oily. I would definitely come back and recommend others to go here as well!

Had heard a lot of things about this spot, and it lived up to the hype!! Came with friends and made a reservation for 4 people on a Saturday for dinner. The interior is huge and there's a ton of space inside. It's a bit of a rustic modern vibe, which I loved. To drink, we tried the Silk Chiffon and the Blueberry Corn Cobbler. I absolutely loved the Silk Chiffon, but the Blueberry Corn Cobbler wasn't quite what I was expecting. The flavor was there but it was definitely overpowered by the tequila. As for food, we got Oysters and Tuna Tartare to start. They were both were fresh and delicious. For mains, I tried the Warm Buttered Lobster Roll and the Gulf Shrimp Spaghetti. The lobster roll was hands down one of the best I've ever had. It is pricey, but the lobster is so juicy, meaty, and they did not skimp out on the portion. The spaghetti was also quite good. It was a rather small entree, but it came with a generous amount of shrimp. We finished off with their Chocolate Chip Cookie, which was very decent.Overall, a fun dining experience with great service and vibes :~).

I really enjoyed the place, staff very friendly and helpful. We ordered tuna crudo, which was very good. Oyster and fried chicken sliders were delicious. Crab cake was very expensive for the plate, a lot of raw peppers and cucumber and the crab cake, I did not like it. Lobster bisque was ok.

We were visiting and asked around for the best place to have a lobster roll. This was my first experience having a roll, people said this was the best place since it offered hot and cold choices and several other seafood items. This was a great recommendation to say the least. You can order shrimp per each along with many choices of oysters. We ordered 2 shrimp, the hot lobster roll and the hot biscuit. The shrimp were huge and so great flavor. The roll came with coleslaw and homemade chips. The roll was hot buttered and was very plentiful. It had a great taste, not at all what I thought a hot roll would be like. We split the roll and so on, we did not leave hungry at all. The biscuit was huge and had honey and rosemary butter on it. Oh my goodness, it was beyond amazing. The establishment is very big inside and the staff are great at giving recommendations and explaining the menu. What a great find on our trip. I definitely would recommend this place to everyone.

Fun seafood spot with knockout lobster rolls!Came here for dinner last night with some friends and was seated outside. Loved the inside area and the outside, although being on the side of a road, was quite nice. Ordered oysters to start, which were fresh and tasty. Then got the fried calamari: crispy, not too chewy, and served with a delicious side sauce, but not the best calamari I've ever had. Then came the lobster roll.... You can get it two ways here: cold with Mayo or hot with butter. I got it hot with butter and subbed out the chips for shoestring fries. It was DELICIOUS: perfect amount of lobster and butter and packed full of flavor. The fries were good too, but I wish I had gotten the thicker 242 fries. Also want to mention the tasty Mayo-based Cole slaw that comes with the roll. I'd definitely come back. It's a bit pricey but about what I expected to pay for good seafood. Food: 4.5/5Ambience: 4/5Service: 5/5

Visiting from out of town, my bf and I HAD to try the lobster rolls in Boston. We found Row 34 online and I immediately made reservations for the afternoon as I read making reservations may be tricky. However, it was an easy process and we checked in without any trouble. Upon checking in, we were asked where we preferred to sit, which was nice. We initially asked to sit at a table but noticed how nice the high tables were so we asked to switch and they were more than willing to accommodate! Our server was Santiago and he was fantastic. He heard it was our first time visiting so he explained the menu to us before allowing us some time to look thru the menu to decide what to get. Our order: Toro Crudo: The toro was super fresh and it sat in ponzu sauce which was a bit overpowering imo. But, the apricot it was topped with did a great job at complimenting it. The pieces were pretty big! Salmon Crudo: Now this, this was one of the best thing I've ever had period. Salmon was extremely fresh and they were big pieces as well. The watermelon gazpacho went extremely well with it and it provided a very refreshing taste to the dish. Wrapping the small pieces of tomatoes and watermelon in the salmon was a huge explosion of flavor. I'm forever gonna think about this haha. Warm Buttered Lobster Roll & Ethel's Creamy Lobster Roll: Let me just start this off with how much lobster they stuffed our rolls with. I was very surprised with how much we got! The buns/rolls were very buttery and toasted to perfection. Between the two, I preferred the warm buttered lobster and my bf preferred the creamy one. Both were really good, but I think the warm lobster just tasted slightly better, especially when you squeeze the lemon! Santiago was fantastic and had split them half and half for us, saving us the trouble of doing it ourselves. The coleslaw was pretty good as well and I loved the chips. The chips may not be everyone's cup of tea but I loved it. It seemed like it was housemade with potatoes, and it was seasoned well! Overall, everything we had was phenomenal and I would absolutely come back again when we're in Boston again. The service and food both were really good!! And the price was fair! Everything came out to $144 before tip, which I felt was fair given how good the food was as well as how much food we got.Just a note, they do not do parking validation before 5PM! It was not an issue for us though :) We parked at the structure that was a couple mins walk away.

Really, really, really good seafood lover's experience. Took my wife here for our anniversary dinner. If you love seafood and you're in Boston, I say you gotta come here and give it a try. This is one of those places where every single thing was freaking delicious. We went all out and ordered way too much food.If you eat oysters in any capacity, you gotta try the fried oyster sliders. They're not huge but for the price they're a wicked deal and they're insanely delicious, I honestly could have just filled up on like 10 of these things. Served in a nice soft brioche-style bun with fresh veggies and a nice sauce, the crispy battered oyster really shines through these. The raw bar offerings were splendid. They have a nice wide variety of different oysters from all around and they clearly have a passion for them as they have a whole recommended system for eating them, like what fixings to put on with what, etc. They even recommended getting certain beers as nice palate cleansers between oyster varieties to really maximize the experience - and I recommend you trust them since we had an amazing time. The oysters were all insanely fresh and cold, and had absolutely zero grit to them. The cherry stone clams were also insanely succulent and delicious. The tuna tartare was also a star of the show, absolutely delicious and fresh out of this world, with zero fishiness. The mussels were probably my favorite thing. Save some bread for this delicious sauce because you'll want to mop it all up and shove it down your gullet. Mussels were cooked perfectly. Finally we got a lobster roll (we got the mayo kind, which they recommended) and it was the star of the show. It was chock full of juicy lobster meat and they did not skimp on this one. Fried were delicious and crispy as well. To top it off, our cocktails were phenomenal! The atmosphere was really interesting and lively - nice decor but really tall and spacious. Not white table clothy or bougie. Wear a T shirt, wear a button down and slacks, it seems the vibe here was nice-casual.We couldn't have had such a nice time without the help of our server who walked us through their menu. We listened to him every step of the way and we were not led astray. If you're looking for a nice seafood dinner in Boston, you've probably got lots of options, and I've tried a lot of them but this the place you wanna go for a really polished experience all around.

If you're looking for some of the freshest oysters and the best craft-beer selection near Seaport, you must give Row 34 a try! We decided to stop in around 8PM on a Sunday evening. We were looking to enjoy some raw bar and some light appetizers. I strongly suggest booking a reservation on OpenTable, as the place was extremely busy for a Sunday at 8PM! We showed up around 7:30 PM hoping to snag an earlier reservation out on their rain or shine patio. Unfortunately, they were very busy and were unable to accommodate our request. However, they made us feel extremely welcome and offered us a seat at the bar while we waited for our table outside. The inside is upscale without being overly so. The atmosphere is casual, yet elegant. Dim lighting sets the mood and atmosphere. They offer a visible raw-bar with a plethora of fresh oysters, crab claws, clams, and more! The establishment offers a phenomenal craft beer and craft cocktail program. If you're looking for one of the largest craft-beer selections around, Row 34 is the place to be. Their craft cocktail selection is equally impressive. For those who don't consume, they do offer a small selection of non-alcoholic craft cocktails and non-alcoholic, craft beer. We started with a cocktail or two and before we knew it our table outside was ready! Their outdoor patio is spacious, roomy, open, and airy. It is rain-or-shine and even has patio heaters for those cooler nights and/or early fall months. Their raw bar is incredible. I am huge on raw oysters and I am always on the lookout for a spot with a solid selection of "species". Every oyster species has a unique appearance, size, and flavor profile. At Row 34, they had 4-5 species of oyster to choose from. We ordered a dozen of oysters, 3 of each species. They also offer raw clams, Jonah crab claws, and multiple crudo offerings! I was incredibly excited to try a new variety or two that I had not tried before anywhere else. The service here is incredibly attentive to detail. The kitchen is also incredibly attentive to quality, preparation, and presentation. I'll admit, service was a bit on the slower side. However, I forgive that as I much prefer an attentive eye to quality and detail over ticket times. Our raw bar offerings were brought out by the service manager. She was incredibly friendly and personable. She welcomed us to Boston, as we had relocated here in May from Chicago. She even included a few extra oysters and a few Jonah crab claws as a "welcome" to Boston. She ensured throughout the entire meal that everything was up to our standards, and their own. They truly are committed to quality, taste, preparation, and presentation. Our server was equally impressive. When asked about their raw bar offerings, he was incredibly educated on the offerings of the evening. He went over the species of oysters without missing a beat. It is hard to find places with educated staff who can recite the day's offerings to you. The oysters were incredibly fresh and clean. No grit or bits of shell to break a tooth on! The oysters were ice cold and each had a unique, yet refreshing flavor profile. I would strongly recommend Row 34 if you're a big oyster guru like I am. They have a solid selection of offerings to delight your palate. Next, we decided to order the Tuna Crudo. It was incredibly fresh and the presentation was on-point. The tuna was incredibly flavorful and fresh. I do wish the portion was a bit larger, next time I would probably order a second plate! After we enjoyed our raw bar offerings, we decided to order the Heirloom Tomato Salad. Juicy Tomatoes, Pistachio Dukkah, Ricotta Salata, Balsamic. The tomatoes were incredibly juicy and refreshing, perfect for a warm summer evening. The portion was generous for two to share. I also strongly recommend their homemade Buttermilk Biscuit. I agree with our server, it is the perfect fusion of savory and sweet! It is a massive homemade biscuit topped with melting rosemary butter and gooey honey. It is plenty for two to split and it truly hits all the flavor notes! As I said, service was a bit slower than some may like. However, I prefer to enjoy my meal and not feel rushed. I also prefer the commitment to quality, taste, preparation, and presentation. I look forward to returning for their incredible raw bar offerings and crudo! I also am looking forward to trying their New England Seafood Boil on my next visit! If you're looking for a solid craft-beer/cocktail and raw bar program, you have to give Row 34 a try!
