Their menu was intriguing (basically, pizza with an Indian flair, as well as Indian dishes) and I wish I lived closer so I could try more of their meals. I've had Chicago Pizza with a Twist and this reminded me of that, only yummier. This place is obviously a family-run affair, kind of a little hole-in-the-wall that isn't big on ambience but is fine for what you get. Service was polite and efficient. Make sure to specify you want everything vegan if you are a vegan."

"We've been ordering their pizzas and salads for years now through DoorDash and always get well packaged, delicious food. One busy Friday night we were waiting longer than usual. When I called to check on the order, the manager Colleen was super nice and honest and admitted they somehow lost our ticket. I'm in the industry and I know mistakes happen. What matters is what is done to fix the mistake. They rushed our order along and sent me a giftcard to dine-in.I took my daughter here for lunch earlier today to use our giftcard and we had a wonderful experience! We were lucky to have the whole place to ourselves. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable and the food was good as always!While they're called Za and their pizza is awesome, it's their fresh and delicious salads that really keep me coming back."

I ordered the swordfish picata special, which was a decent size portion, but too lemony (that was the only flavor I could taste, and a lot of it); that may be personal preference, i just like a milder lemon/butter flavor vs. sucking on a lemon directly. We didn't have room for desert, but they had several options that sounded very good. Service was good. Luckily we got there just before the dinner rush, as they started filling up halfway through our meal."

The host was so kind and was able to seat my handicapped father in a table near the door and space heater, which was incredibly appreciated. Our server was also wonderful. And someone, guessing it was the owner, stopped by to see how we liked our meal.I had the PSL martini. I'm not sure the bartender liked me, since they didn't put the rim on the martini and added a dried apple ring, which was odd. I thought they might be out of the rim, but since we sat near the bar, I could see it was added to other drinks. They also weren't the friendliest when I walked in--just stared at me and instead of saying anything when I walked up, rudely pointed to the host stand, which I had not noticed. Anyway, if they are working when I return, would not order a cocktail. Even though my drink was delicious. That was the only off-putting part of our whole experience, because all other staff were great.Food was delicious. Bread is great. Fried mozzarella hit the spot and the tomato sauce was incredible. I was disappointed that the orecchiette with sausage and broccoli rabe was not available, as it was on the online menu but not the actual menu. It's one of my all-time favorite pasta dishes. But I ordered another fave--the chicken broccoli pasta. It was fantastic. My stepmother loved her mushroom pasta and my dad enjoyed his scallop risotto. For dessert, he ordered bread pudding and my stepmother and I shared the tiramisu, like, everything else, was fantastic. I'll absolutely be requesting that we visit Paolo's whenever I'm in town."

This area is home to many expensive and trendy restaurants, but you can't go wrong with the old faithful pizza option. The pizza is crisp and awesome. Forget about all that nonsense around the "flop" that you hear about in pizza reviews. This pizza is what pizza should be. It's not swimming in cheese and oil. It's the ideal combination that tastes like a real chef made it. This is high quality dough, cooked to a perfect crisp. The toppings are awesome. This isn't your grandfather's pizzeria where they slap some pepperoni on a slice. This is pizza made with love and passion. I was really impressed. The owner is a super nice dude too. I will make a point to frequent this place because it's awesome. Staff is so freaking friendly too. The inside is small but has a few tables. It's definitely worth taking the time to come here. The pizza is that darn delicious."

Our waitress was training and did a good job overall, though we were slightly concerned at first as she said she would try to get our orders right. Our food came to the table surprisingly quick. I had the braised beef ragu, and was shocked at how little sauce was over the pasta... the short rib itself was good but some of the pasta was mushy, and I ended up not finishing my plate or bringing it home. My mom had the goat cheese and walnut salad, and she said the chicken was okay but seemed pre-made, which tracks with how quickly it arrived to the table. The quality of the food, in our opinion, was reminiscent of an Olive Garden or Bertucci's, which is a shame because the restaurant itself appeared to be more upscale. We were in and out in 45 minutes. Also, I was shocked to see a server openly texting for quite a while right next to us. Overall, just not the experience we were expecting unfortunately."

"All I can say is WOW! After a long trek through Newbury St, we finally decided to stop at Serafina's for an Italian dinner. This was one of the best decisions I have ever made. The pasta dish I tried here was better than any I've had in the North End, which says a lot. The service was great, and we enjoyed some bread and olive oil/balsamic vinegar to start off with. Highly highly highly recommend the Farafelle Al Limoncello. The lemon sauce pairs fantastically with the pasta cooked perfectly, and the shrimp was so fresh and flavorful. The cherry tomatoes were done right and added a great burst of flavor to the dish as well. The Serafina burger was also very good, with a unique paste of bacon jam smeared on it. It leans more towards the sweeter side, but compliments the savory flavors from the burger very well. The fries were also incredible, but I should've gotten them truffle style! Not to worry, because I will be back immediately."

And black olive slices that tasted like nothing.Delivery was late, Called the place and the lady on the other side of the inquiry phone call was rude to my wife... likely burnt out from working for such a busy place. "I would like to put a plug in for Davis Square Pizza on Highland Ave. I am a pizzaholic. I could eat it 3 meals a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Seriously. They are under new management. The place was bought about 8 months ago, and the owner is there every day. I think this is my favorite pizza place (the next one is Pinky's down the road in Medford (I think). And I have tried almost all of the pizza places around, usually to a lot of disappointment. But not this place. The crust is just the right thickness/thinness, the right balance of toppings to the sauce to the crust. It can be folded but is not droopy and unmanageable. And for me, it's all about the sauce. And the sauce is excellent. I make my own and my standards are high. Tangy. not too sweet, lots of tomato flavor, not too thin and not too thick. They have seating but I don't see a lot of dine-in customers. But there seems to be a lot of take-out. I used to order using an app but the owner said it is best for them if we just call the old-fashioned way - so that's what I do now."

Since that time I'm in at least once a month and I live part time in Las Vegas. The plain cheese pizza is certainly one of the best I've had in the country. It's light, crispy and very flavorful. It's cooked in an old school Neapolitan wood fire oven. I've also had each of the topping options - all excellent.I don't have a favorite because each of my go to dishes is exceptionally awesome. The Prima Vera is popping and exploding with fresh flavor. The SPAGHETTI CARBONARA comes with the raw egg on top. The Black Truffle pasta is rich and lip smacking good. Seating is limited but I've never had a problem. Outside sidewalk seating is available in the summer."

Tomatoes and lettuce appeared to be local fresh. They had no issues with a cheese substitution on the eggplant sandwich. In fact offered after we requested no mozzarella. The lasagna was really good. "Johnny's has become a go-to delivery spot for me even over in JP solely for their fried chicken. I'd had Roadie's Fried Chicken before from another pizza joint up in Somerville and it's truly the best you can get from a takeout spot anywhere in the city - juicy and tender, crispy and flavorful, not too greasy, and it always arrives hot. I've had a smattering of other items on their menu - steak & cheese, pizza, etc. and been happy with all of it. No better or worse than any other pretty good pizza/sub shop. As these long days of quarantine wear on, Johnny's will continue to be a regular take out spot for our house (especially cause I find myself craving fried chicken at least once a month)."
