This was the restaurant I've been to most frequently for the past year! The food never disappoints and I always bring my family and friends to try them out. Highlight of our default food order: cheeeeeeesey in a good way! * Pambazo: don't think we've ever had any pambazo in Massachusetts - are there any?! The bread is crispy with dipped sauce and cheese on it. * Taco Birria: comes out fresh and hot! Their combo of the cheese on the taco shell and abundantly stuffed filling makes it worth ordering again. The dip somehow reminds me of Vietnamese pho! * Quaesadilla: I usually order the small (with steak) so I can try multiple dishes without getting too full. I love how crispy and cheese the shell is - reminds me of cheezits!* Churros: they have regular, and ones with strawberry and dulce de leches fillings! As a heads up, the food takes a while to be made, so I suggest checking the menu ahead of time to ask questions or order asap!I've learned that I should make a reservation just in case they don't have any tables available for walk in. Reservation has become a lot easier as they transitioned from booking through calls to online! Heads up: For larger groups, you would need to make a call.I'll be coming back again with more family and friends! :)

This place is the real deal. The tacos tortillas are dipped in this meat grease and pan fried so they're half crunchy half soft and so fragrant. The birria style meats are a must try. I came here for takeout and the gentleman who answered the phone could not have been nicer. Patient while taking my order and they're flexible about everything. Want two meats in the quesadilla? No problem. A set of three birria tacos can be made four, with mix and match meats. Definitely got the "customer is always right" vibe here. Will be back! Might be my go to Mexican spot.

My husband and I stopped by for an early dinner Saturday night. It was 5:15 we had no reservations there were 3 tables seated and the rest of the restaurant was empty. We were offered a table by the front door or two seats at the small bar, we chose the bar.We were greeted by a friendly bartender shaking drinks. She handed us a small square of paper and said you can scan this for the menu. This is one thing since the pandemic that I think we need to have the option of real menus if we would like. I really do not like having to switch sites. As for the food, we ordered the guacamole, chips and salsa to start. Be gluten free and chips are made out of house they made fresh chips. They were outstanding and took my mind right off the menus the guac and salsa had a little kick to each. My husband had the spicy margaritas I had the fresa which was delicious. For dinner my husband had the sausage and chicken burrito and I had two tacos. Both were delight definitely did not need or want the potatoes served on the side with them. The food is wonderful here. We both recommend!

Flavors - 4/5Textures - 4.5/5Presentation - 4/5Value for Money - 4/5Would return? Yes Must-try: chips & guacThe standout feature was undeniably the chips and guac. The house-made chips were salty and crispy, complementing the chunky, mildly spicy guacamole. The tacos are generous in size and had substantial fillings. Al pastor stole the spotlight. The mixed carne asada with chorizo brings some heat but leans a bit on the dry side. Unfortunately, the chicken tacos and birria failed to impress due to a discernible lack of depth in flavor. The tostadas were good though! Maintaining a crispy integrity throughout consumption, they lacked a bit of salt and a salsa.

I've lived here for awhile but somehow never stopped in. I've truly been missing out. The best Birria tacos. And excellent house made flan. Also enjoyed the margarita choices. Friendly service- I felt like a regular. Very flexible menu. I wanted to try a few things and they easily accommodated- for example, I was able to get fewer than 3 Birria tacos. I've already been back. Make a reservation- it's not a large place. Family owned and operated.

The restaurant was easy to find and there was tons of street parking which is *thumbs up*.I loved that the place felt cozy. You can definitely tell it was a family owned restaurant - warm and inviting. Service was good. Place was busy but we didn't feel ignored. The staff were pretty quick to check in on us, refill our waters, and clean our plates so I'm v satisfied. We ordered the guac and GOSH. YES. If you get ANYTHING from this place, get the guac. I agree it was expensive but #worth. I could eat a large bowl of this by myself and be very happy. We also ordered the flautas and they were solid too. We honestly could have stopped here and/or got dessert but I think we were too excited...I got the al pastor, chorizo, and carne asada tacos and my friend got the jefe al pastor burrito. They weren't joking when they said the jefe burrito was large. IT WAS HUGE. Tacos were pretty good! Al pastor was my favorite.I didn't have room for dessert :( But I will come back just to try the churros!

Guacamole and chips: This was ~excellent~. The guac tasted so fresh. I could clearly taste every ingredient. Only problem was that it's tiny. We got a medium, which was almost $10. Birria: Delicious! Consomme was great, meat was tender and juicy. The shells were on point. At $20 for 3, not too bad of a price. These are definitely more worth it than the $6 normal tacos.Al Pastor: Taco was pretty good. The caramelized onions and potatoes on the side were a nice addition as well. $6 per taco is a bit insane. These are the worst deal here.Tres Leches: $8 for a small slice of cake? Stay away. This tres leches was not good at all. Didn't taste bad, but it wasn't moist at all. Pretty dry to the point of graininess, actually. Definitely need some more leche in this cake.Overall, they have some really overpriced menu items but make up for it with some of their less overpriced stuff. You should definitely get their burritos over their tacos. Service was incredibly slow and lackluster. Make a reservation in advance, as this restaurant can book out sometimes.

Ever walk into a restaurant and feel like they hate their customers? It says they close at 9pm, arrived a few minutes before 8:30. The server said they stopped seating at 8:30, I offered to eat quick and said it was still before 8:30, she said it didn't matter and I could only do take out. Plenty of empty tables were available. I asked if I could order a margarita while I waited, and it looked like it physically pained the server to allow me a drink while I waited for take out.Margarita - It was good but they mixed up the spicy and regular margarita.Burrito - loved the outside as it came toasted, which was a nice touch since not many places do that.Taco - The steak taco was ok, pretty bland. There was an extra one I didn't order, and for a second I thought "that was nice". Then I looked at the receipt and I was charged for one I didn't order.Tres Leches - There was so little Tres Leches sauce I questioned if I had wronged the server in a previous life. The driest Tres Leches I've ever had. A sad Tres LechesEdit: The comment by the owner says it all, just didn't care about the treatment of the customer, mistakes, dry tres leches or bad service.

BEST MEXICAN FOOD AROUND!! When you go to Pátzcuaro you can count on great service with authentic and DELICIOUS food. You have to order the carnitas quesadilla...it's unbelievable! After you indulge in margaritas and a quesadilla, you might think you're too full for dessert. NEVER SKIP THE TRES LECHES!! I always order it to-go and it's the most delicious tres leches I've ever had! All around elite restaurant. Pátzcuaro is podium!

This place is a true hidden gem. Food and service were excellent. Online reservations for the small dining room can be made via Google. There are also 3 bar seats that are walk-in only.Nachos ($9 for small) - Amazing. Menu only has one size, but I was dining alone, so the waitress asked if I wanted the small portion for one, which I did. It was massive, at least 12" x 12". I added carnitas, which was the best I've ever had. Very lean and flavorful. Elote ($6) - Served off the cob, the corn was very fresh and delicious. Most other places use queso fresca or mayo or other options for the sauce, but they use sour cream. It was very good but different than what I expected, and it relied more on the flavor and freshness of the corn.Michelada ($12) - Not on the menu, but they will make a michelada using any of the bottled beer options. It was really fresh and delicious. Only note, their standard recipe uses a couple ounces of Clamato, so be sure to specify if any shellfish allergies.
