A bit out of the way from the regular Boston area, but well worth it for a fun experience!The vibes were really fun! Make a res, check the res for info beforehand, and have a fun time!! Really chill yet lowkey fancy vibes inside. The drinks are really really fun! With a fancy presentation. Such a fun time! I feel like this place was actually a speakeasy, hidden and with a password. I made a reservation for a large party and we were promptly seated. Inside is big enough to fit a couple tables and bar seating. Kitchen closes at 11pm and last call was around 10:45pm. We got there for our 10:30pm seating and ordered almost the entire menu! Everything tasted sooo delicious! I was surprised at the quality of food given it was a speakeasy bar. The drinks were also very special and we even shared the fishbowl at the end! Some of the drinks came with a show, some came with a nice presentation. Their music selection was also on point! Overall, we had a great time and I would definitely come back with friends!

Stepping into Next Door Speakeasy & Raw Bar felt like uncovering a secret hideaway. The "Love Language" cocktail, featuring exotic dragon fruit, was a sensory delight--vibrant, refreshing, and beautifully crafted. Each sip was a burst of tropical flavor that kept me wanting more. The Radiatori pasta was equally impressive, with its rich sauce perfectly clinging to every twist and turn of the pasta. The atmosphere, with its dim lighting and vintage charm, made the night feel both intimate and exciting. It's the kind of place where time slows down, and you can truly enjoy each moment with friends. Next Door Speakeasy & Raw Bar isn't just about food and drinks--it's an experience I can't wait to revisit.

Overall: this is the speakeasy that trumps them all in Boston. with a true speakeasy entrance having to play a series of escape room esq mini games. The drinks didn't disappoint the fun entrance as they have great classics but really fun concepts. Try their breaking bad themed meth cocktail for a sort of sweet drink with fun candy. Purple rain is your classic creative style gin drink and anything goes if you ask them for a recommendation. Bartenders are extremely nice and helpful in crafting the perfect drink.

I've heard this is one of the best speakeasies in Boston and I can see why! This was a very traditional speakeasy where the entrance is hidden and you have to go through the pizzeria and answer a riddle and give a passcode for the door! It was so fun and really amplified the experience of the place! Upon entering, the space is really small but elegantly designed and they have a mix of classy and fun drinks! I tried the lock and key (clear) and this blue bag one that's supposed to be breaking bad crystal meth vibes with the fun touch of the rock candy! The drinks itself were both flavors I didn't expect and not as sweet which made them just ok. The lock and key was giving aloe juice and the blue drink was more sour than expected, almost lemony. Presentation was a 5/5 though and it was a nice surprise when they gave the lock and key drink in a treasure chest teeming with dry ice! Would recommend coming here at least once for the experience!

Wow! This restaurant/bar truly exceeded my expectations in every way. From the meticulously crafted interior design to the unique and thoughtfully executed concept, it was an experience like no other. The attention to detail in the drinks' craftsmanship was truly impressive. I do want to mention that making a reservation in advance is essential as they don't accept walk-ins.Speaking of drinks, we had a delightful selection: the Purple Rain, the Conejo Malo, the Blossom & Bubbles, the Catch Me If You Can, the classic Old Fashioned, and the light Spritz.As for the food, we started with the incredibly fresh and flavorful ceviche, followed by the shrimp tacos. The oysters were a delight, and the tender octopus was a standout dish.Overall, the entire experience was exceptional, and I'm already planning my return. If you're looking for a memorable culinary journey with impeccable service, this restaurant is an absolute must-visit.

Love the ambiance of this restaurant! I recommend getting a seat at the end so you see the bartenders in action making all the cocktails! Love their espresso martini! I know they're a raw bar but I wish there was a wider variety of food options! Other than that, this place is great for a date night or a special occasion!

Mixed feelings about this speakeasy -salmon tartare and tuna tacos were both very good-the bread and butter, the oysters, and the shrimp tacos were solid-whipped ricotta toast was too heavy and pesto-y-octopus carpaccio was chewy and grossThe drinks themselves were also a mixed bag. The espresso martini was delicious (as are almost all espresso martinis to me) and there was a drink with a nitrogen gas (?) bubble that was very fun, but overall I was not impressed with the quality of the drinks, especially at the high price point. The speakeasy atmosphere itself was fun but not anything crazy special compared to others I have been to. All in all, I felt the entire place to be overhyped and felt a bit too rushed throughout the experience.
