Naz's Halal is always my go-to for halal in Providence! It's amazing value for the price, as it's cheap and delicious. I always get lamb over rice with white and red sauce, which usually lasts me at least two meals. The white sauce is my favorite, and the red sauce is to add some spice (though it can be pretty spicy). Highly recommend ordering here for halal! It also delivers really fast.

I love Naz's halal as a student on a budget. I get the gyro plate, and always with a side of white sauce. When I go to pick up, the service is fast, and the space inside is spacious enough if you want to grab a quick bite on your lunch break. Overall, would recommend to anyone in the area.

I am a huge Halal food fan when I visit NYC. There's just something so tasty about it and despite literally looking like a couch at a 1970's porno shoot with all the white sauce, it's actually pretty healthy and as humane as meat can be.I will say that this isn't going to compete with NYC Halal street food. Don't compare this with Halal Guys and expect them to be equal. A plate of chicken or lamb with rice and lettuce and diced cucumber is about $10, which is on par with a Chipotle bowl. I prefer Halal food.The chicken tasted fresh and was chopped nicely. It was bright red, marinated perfectly and the iceberg lettuce was crunchy and fresh. The rice wasn't the best middle eastern rice I've had ... but above average. I like the spicier rice. They have it as a 'salad' with no rice and more lettuce.We also had the Kofta Kebab and it was tasty. You get 5 small/medium-sized Kebabs with the rice and lettuce. It was very filling. The kebab is a bit spicy but not overwhelmingly so. I can't figure out if I like the chicken or the kebab better ... both were good.Overall, I would return. At $10 per entree, the value was good. The store is very clean ... they weren't as busy as I thought they'd be. Maybe due to the location being so near a lot of other takeout spots. I am so glad I found decent Halal food in RI. There is a Halal Guys in Boston ... but I'd say that this is as good as you'll find in Providence. I've had Eastside Pockets and this beats that by a country mile.The portions here will fill you up and the value is good. Very few restaurants can say that these days.

I was looking for a chicken salad for dinner and this place came up as a suggestion. I'm glad I tried it. The salad had nicely moist and seasoned chicken, cucumbers, and a good gyro-inspired dressing. I opted for fries atop it which took down the healthy quotient but upped the flavor and enjoyment. I also tried the fried sweet corn bites and fried Mac and cheese. I'm not sure how I started with a light salad and ended with all these fried delights, but the corn was very good and the Mac and cheese was solid but nothing to write home about. If you want extra kick, they provide some red and green chili sauce options. Good eats!

Great portion sizes of everything! So much food and great prices!! Cooked to order and fairly quick! There is some seating inside or take out. Parking is tiny but off street - the pizza place next door will quite literally come out and chase you if you are even just using their spot for take out, so be warned fries are an absolute favorite of mine to grab and then go to slater park!

Amazing service, and amazing food. I've never had shitty service or food from here. One time a man misunderstood me on the phone from 9 to 6 wings and when I called he realized he charged me for 6 but still gave me the other 3 cause he's the one who misunderstood me. I wasn't upset at all about this because he handled it very well and when I offered to pay the difference he quickly said not to worry about it.

Amazing portions and fresh tasting food! I ordered a rice platter ($10) which had a combo of their lamb and chicken, then added two little pieces of falafel for $1.My lamb was my favorite out of the two meats. For little chunks, it was very juicy and not tough at all. Great flavor too, as well as the white sauce that I asked for.In the rice platters, they don't skimp on the meat and it's not all rice. Great value.
