"Menu is full of healthy, yet tasty options! NU Kitchen has a bunch of fresh smoothies, coffees, sandwiches, bowls and salads. But my favorite thing to get is the Acai bowl! Acai bowls here are legit and so good! I love how NU Kitchen is loaded with toppings so there is almost 1:1 ratio of topping to acai which never happens! I've tried the Oahu and Maui; both were good but I prefer the Oahu more. The cocoa nibs are bomb and plentiful. The acai is also creamy from the oat milk! Short rib torta was delicious. The short rib is super tender with great flavor, crunch from the light crunch of the bread, and slight heat from the peppers. The egg and avocado are a nice extra touch that goes together so well.Short Rib banh mi was an interesting take on banh mi, but quite pricey for the size and compared to a traditional banh mi. Prefer the torta more."
"Ordered the spicy tofu Buddha bowl. Sauce was THICCCCCC. Very delicious, great portion size with fresh ingredients. Appreciate the variety of options - all vegan friendly. Mind booster smoothie was tasty but a little liquidy. Wish it was thicker just like the peanut Buddha sauce.Staff was super friendly and accommodating as well. Would definitely come back!"

I ordered the Nutella crepe with strawberries and it was amazing. Warm, melted chocolate, and yet it wasn't crazy messy or anything. We ordered to go so it was perfectly wrapped as a handheld item. It's pretty small inside so we ordered our crepes to go (thinking there were no open seats) but the 4-5 tables free up pretty quickly since people are really only sitting to eat and drink their drink before heading out. Next time I'm ordering "for here" to get the plate with the chocolate drizzled all over!"
"I'm a sucker for a good smoothie bowl, and Cocobeet has a GOOD smoothie bowl. Not only is their establishment conveniently located within walking distance of my hotel in Boston, their food options are entirely plant based and without processed sugar, which is right up my alley. Upon entering the gentleman manning front of house greeted me warmly and offered to answer any questions. I ordered the Blue Oasis bowl - peach, banana pineapple, algae, maple and coconut base topped with banana, strawberries, blueberries, toasted coconut flakes, and date almond crumble. This. Is. Glorious - delightfully fruity with excellent textural components. The following morning I enthusiastically devoured the vanilla berry chia pudding, a beautiful combination of cashews, dates, chia seeds, and citrus topped with a berry compote. My only two pieces of constructive criticism:1. Price. After tip I paid $17.50 for the smoothie bowl alone, which is steep for an on-the-go breakfast.2. Nutrition information: I wish they had it. They explained that since they often tweak and adjust recipes it's difficult to maintain accurate nutrition information, which is understandable, but if you don't reach for the moon you'll never get anything.Summary: Cocobeet = very yes."
"I am an aging millennial by all accounts so the only TikTok exposure I ever get is when one randomly pops up when I'm looking for recipes and cat videos but the TikTok I saw most recently was a compilation of chicken Caesar wraps. Which just so happened to be my staple back in college. I was a fiend for a good Caesar wrap. (Actually, the place I frequented all the time, Milano Market, is now viral.)I love that Livite does panini wraps, where they grill the wrap so it gets nice and toasty and melty on the inside. Of course I had to get the Caesar - they offer lots of modifications so you're free to swap things in and out depending on preferences and allergies. My husband got the Buffalo, which tasted pretty similar to the Caesar, only with hot sauce and blue cheese dressing. My one nit is that I assumed they'd mix everything together before putting it into a wrap, thus making it a true Caesar salad wrap, but instead it tasted like they assembled the ingredients separately. Thus creating the Chipotle burrito problem, where you get one bite of chicken, one bite of dressing and cheese, etc. Maybe their chicken salad wrap is what I'm thinking of and should have gotten. Anyway, this is all a rather academic point since I was starving so I ate the whole thing anyway. I liked the free side of plantain chips! The menu has salads and smoothies, which I'll have to try. A great, healthy option in Brookline. I didn't feel bloated or bogged down afterwards. Food came out very quickly. There's paid parking all along the street on the other side but I saw plenty of people just double park, run in, and grab their food."
"This spot has been on my list for awhile and I finally tried it on a rainy lunch day.S4. BBQ Pork Banh Mi - the baguette is so pillowy and crackly. One of the best banh mi baguettes I've had. The pork was tender and seasoned well. The pickled carrots and daikon added a nice crunch and texture. The jalapeño added much needed heat. If you pay with card, there is a service fee which I didn't realize until I looked at the receipt after I left. Bring cash!"
"First time trying this spot! I ordered the Meat lover Two eggs, extra bacon, extra ham, cheddar cheese on a croissant. The bacon was crispy and fully cooked it was great, the ham was perfect, the two eggs cooked perfectly light and tasty the cheddar cheese was melted and the croissant was lightly toasted! The sandwich was delicious it was a great choice! I also got Peanut butter banana coffee a iced large with an expresso shot it was very refreshing and excellent flavor! You have a new customer definitely will order again from here! Thank you! I am very satisfied from my first time experience at your restaurant!"
"This place is so cute! I only tried the mushroom coffee that my friends got and it was good, unique flavor. Asthetically pleasant inside and friendly service. Healthy menu, my friends got a wrap and said it was very yummy."
"Rainbow Harvest Bowl: 10/10This bowl just gives you the warm and fuzzies. The combination of all the chopped vegetables, topped with sweet potato mash, and a tasty and unidentifiable dressing, is amazing. I love it. I highly recommend this bowl and it tastes great with udon noodles instead of rice too!The inside of this place is nice. You go up to the counter and order and then there's plenty of seating. I also got some of the juices. They were good but pretty expensive.I also thought the woman who took my order was so rude. I ordered the Rainbow Harvest bowl and asked to add Brussel sprouts, as suggested by the menu, and she said no because there was too much stuff already in it so it would have to be on the side. I was like okay fine but weird since it's suggested. Then I asked if I could substitute the rice for udon, which I've done before, and she said no I can't do that. Um okay. Then my order came out completely wrong and was a wrap haha. My review is only on the food but this woman needs to be friendlier."
"I placed a takeout order from Gypsy Place. I had an açaí bowl (without chia seeds as I'm allergic), and it was great! It was a fairly substantial portion for the price, and I liked that there was a nice ratio of açaí to berries/fruit/granola. I'm happy to know Gypsy Place is so close to home for me and look forward to returning!"
"Decent panini. At a decent price. A few outdoor tables. They actually have waitress service at the outdoor tables, so I never actually had to go inside the restaurant. Closed Mondays."
"**Updated review**I came back because I believed in the beignets. They were bomb . The place was very clean, with a cute fig tree at the entrance. The service was EXCELLENT. Everyone was nice, especially the cook who made the order. I also tried the classic burger, which wasn't bad. Fries was still heavy with grease, but you know I ate them anyways and it was good."

Overall, NU Kitchen offers a wide menu of items that will satisfy a broad range of preferences. We tried the Spanish scramble burrito and bowl, the super fruit waffle, and some drinks. The Spanish scramble burrito was better overall than the Spanish scramble bowl. The avocado refresher smoothie was also very good. Ambiance is also spacious and modern. All together, they offer some solid breakfast and lunch options with lots of vegetarian and vegan options. Check them out if you're in the area!

When in Jamaica Plains, Boston, do yourself a favor and had down/up to Juicygreens. All your senses will thank me. You're welcome. From color, to texture, to taste and smell - you'll be hit with some fantastical fresh creations prepared while you wait. The wait may be a while, so go ahead and call in advance - their pick up fridge and shelf will have your name on your baggy. Lots of GF options, fresh fruit galore, arepas, coffee, fresh juices and smoothies. If you feel like cleansing for a day, or three, they'll have your back. Seriously my favorite place in JP for breakfast, lunch or snack. A great fruit bowl or plate of waffles will set you back around $10.50. Yum!!

It was an unbelievably cold evening waiting for our delayed OurBus to arrive. My friend and I were shivering with our heavy luggage until we decided to enter this random creperie and there it was -- Paris Creperie rather unknowingly becoming our hero (bravo!).We weren't in a mood for crêpe so to support the business, we got Creamsicle smoothies despite the cold weather (some curiosity involved). Spoiler: It was delicious!Looking back, I wish I tried their crêpes but that gives me another reason to come back to Boston!

I heard so many good things about this place and everything stands true. I went on a friday morning at around 8.15 am and saw that many items were already sold out! The staff was super nice, not too many seats to dine in, its more of a to-go only kind of place.I decided to get a chocolate protein bowl, its supposed to have many clean ingredients- cacao oranges, berries, protein, banana, toasted coconut sunflower milk etc. I am so impressed by it! It was so delicious everything was perfect about that bowl except the price. I paid almost 18$ for this bowl which i feel is way too high but you have to pay a price for good quality now.

My friend suggested we come here the day after the 4th of July since we wanted something somewhat more healthy and we needed to eat lunch before we headed out for NY. We all got drinks as well as food and we all really enjoyed it. I got a Buffalo chicken wrap and while I think it could have used some more buffalo sauce or something, it was still really good and fresh. I liked the green drink that I ordered. Certainly felt like a small detox a bit considering we had been drinking a lot the past few days. Would highly recommend this place. The person who took our order was nice as well.

Nice hidden gem in East Boston. Good coffee and super friendly staff. They take the time to chat and remember who you are. Parking can be challenging on the main street but make sure to check out the place it if you are in the area

Really nice spot for healthy, nutritious and flavorful food. Everything was fresh, and my husband and I enjoyed avocado toast and a power bowl that was bursting with flavors.Prices are a bit steep, but the quality in the food is there. There's also quite a selection of options on the menu, which are sure to please anyone who ventures in.Service was very slow, but they made up for it in the end by offering me extra water and apologizing. Ambiance is upbeat, energetic, and artistic. The pink walls didn't seem to deter any men either haha. Would return and like to try one of their drinks.
Visit Restaurant Page"Came here unexpectedly since we had to change our plans (South Street Diner lost electricity and was temporarily closed), so we walked around and stumbled into this place. Quiet and unassuming, we had no idea what to expect. However, the food we ordered were fresh, delicious, impressive, amazing, and fabulous. In short, I was in my feelings. I ordered the waffle (with maple syrup - you had the option of honey and regular syrup), apple danish (since it's fall, after all) and the caramel bliss (espresso, milk, vanilla ice cream, caramel sauce, frozen caramel bits). I thought I was going to fall into a sugar coma but everything balanced each other well and none of these items were intensely sweet. They were the perfect level of sweetness. Their regular coffee was tasty. I'm hooked on this place... Lawddd faddah. Also, the persons who served us were exceedingly helpful and attentive. I'm happy I stumbled into this spot since I plan on visiting it again the next time I visit Boston. I recommend checking it out."
"Got the spicy maki combo for takeout. Their combo came with a little plastic container of miso soup. There isn't really parking in the area so plan accordingly. There was a generous portion of food. My combo came with spicy tuna, yellowtail and salmon. The yellowtail and salmon rolls came with a bit of crunchy tempura, which I preferred. Even though I ordered the spicy combo, none of the rolls were spicy. The tuna was also a bright magenta color, which is definitely different from the spicy tuna I've seen at other places. If you're craving sushi and in the area, this place will do the job. Probably not worth to go out if the way to come here."
"Wow, Coco Leaf has changed a lot, since the last time I've seen them. The newest installations they have are the cute Instagram-esque backdrop with neon lights and the Buddha corner with comfy chairs. -- Totally the vibe. They serve the same amazing food fare that I love and enjoy. I always get the spicy garlic popcorn chicken and sweet potato fries. Both are delicious and not fatty. Their dipping sauces (I believe it's ketchup mayo) are delicious and a must have!"
"Best burger in Boston hands down! Whenever I am craving a giant, the size of my face, mouth watering burger, it has to be a burger from Lee's burgers! This location is not that big but it has a few tables and stools to dine in. It's an order at the counter and if you dine in they bring you your food to the table. My bf and I were craving juicy burgers so we drove up to Lee's. It was busy Saturday night, they had a lot of pick up and orders to go but we found a table to sit and dine in.I ordered the usual which is the two patty Lee's burger and my bf got their other signature burger. The fries came out first and they were perfect! They were super crispy and thick just how I like them. Our burgers came out next and they came out nice and hot! My Lee's burger was neatly wrapped up to keep it together because it was fully loaded! My burger was packed with bacon, peppers, grilled onions, fried egg and french fries and it was amazing! It was challenging to keep it together as I enjoyed every bite but I managed to devour it just fine. It really hit the spot!"
"Exceptionally delicious vegetarian and vegan food here! I tried the buffalo "chicken" Caesar wrap at the owner's recommendation and LOVED IT! Lots of spice, creamy dressing, and crunch from the croutons. The interior is very pretty too, with plenty of house plants and a relaxed environment staffed by helpful and hard-working employees who get you your food fast. For me, this place is right up there with Veggie Galaxy. It's a real hidden jem for Coolidge Corner and I'll be back for sure."
"Awesome spot! Parfait and flavor infused coffee hit the spot. Everything was fresh. Exactly what we needed. Thank you!"
"This place is just getting going, so you need to be patient with the service. But the food is so good. At least the burrito was.Definitely will return to try the smoothies, they seem like a good deal."
"Opened in Quincy about less than a year ago, this bakery features beautifully crafted French pastries...croissants, mille feuille, cookies, and my favorite, pain aux raisins. I popped in before headed to work so I could snag a box of these pastries for my team. So glad i did!! Amazing customer service, nice open dining area, and it's a bakery that I will for sure return to when I'm in town."
"Came here on a Monday evening and the place had a decent amount of people for a weeknight, however there were plenty of seats open. We were seated quickly and were serviced quickly upon walking in which was nice. The interior was very modern - felt very nice and clean. The menu had a good selection of dishes and plenty of variety, I would say though that everything was pretty pricy. Being in Assembly though, I suppose it makes sense. The food itself came out within a reasonable amount of time and the portions were okay. Again, pricy and probably not worth the uncharge, but things were tasty nonetheless and I was satisfied at the end. The mussels were good and the noodles were good, just thought it would be more filling. Overall, An Nam was a good experience, I just would probably go somewhere more affordable if craving Vietnamese food next time and it'd likely be better for my wallet while tasting just as good."
"Words cannot describe how happy I was to find out that Life Alive has finally expanded to Davis Square (in fact, on its website...they have sooo many locations now.when they only used to be in Central Square / Copley and another place back 4-5 years ago!).I used to frequent Life Alive frequently for a variety of their acai bowls in the morning when I was working in Boston...and certainly do miss having such a great, healthy start from Life Alive every work day!The shop looked very modern and clean. I liked that they did open early! So, guess what I did my first morning I was back in Boston?!?! I walked over from my place to have a proper healthy breakfast there! The food was not only very satisfying, clean and healthy...they also looked good and colorful...totally instagrammable! I also liked that they also had free internet in the cafe as well (although..it wasn't conducive to me because I had to be on a call and there were definitely background noises of people and music playing in the shop!).Overall, I love that Life Alive is finally in Davis Square! I will definitely stop by Life Alive again the next time I find myself back in Boston!"
"My friends and I got take out as she said they have good banh mi sandwiches. Since I was not involved in picking up or ordering, I can only comment on their methods of packing. Everything was individually packed and minimally labeled if with or without a certain ingredient. For drinks we got their Thai tea and Vietnamese iced coffee. The tea was served in a larger container and was satisfactory in sweetness and strength, unlike the coffee, which was overly bitter and not very sweet. Including the banh mi sandwiches, we got an order of the BBQ Pork Chop and Shredded Pork which came with white rice. The deli meats were similar to those sandwiches from Dorchester but the pate and scallion oil weren't as flavorful. The pork chop looked and apparently tasted dry since they cook all the protein in the morning and reheat it per meal due to the limited kitchen size. Overall, sandwiches were good but can't say the same for the rice dish. Would order more banh mi sandwiches in the future!"
"Cool hole in the wall, Columbian joint in Somerville. It has limited seating, but it's decorated in a very colorful & festive way. Employees seem to engage well with the customers and all their food & desserts look amazing. I grabbed a salpicón (juice with chopped watermelon, apples and grapes), which was so refreshing. Anything you're craving, I'm sure this place can satisfy, check out their menu on their website. From steaks to smoothies. They also provide delivery & takeout. I will be back again to try their empanadas and brunch!"
"I ordered 2 carne asada tacos. I recommend getting at least 3 tacos if you're very hungry. We got a side of chips and guac. Everything was delicious! My only complaint is that the drink selection was very limited."
"This old school spot makes some of the best breakfast/brunch food Ive had in inner boston. The staff been there a while and know all the regulars. The place is a tiny hole in the wall but takes me back to the 80's and 90 when step into it!Best of all its not expensive at all. From pancakes to corn beef hash and grits you won't be disappointed."
"Really cute neighborhood place with nice staff and good food. Stopped in for a bacon egg and cheese on an everything bagel - which was very good - and coffee. The staff is super friendly, including a woman who I believe is the owner. Prices are decent, $18 for two bacon egg and cheeses and two medium coffees (one hot and one iced). The feel of a neighborhood place where the staff would get to know you is a definite part of the appeal, in addition to good food. I would like to return and try some of the other food, like paninis and the breakfast special which sounded great. I look forward to frequenting here!"
"Cute coffee shop to stop into especially if you're on your way to the airport. Choose from a range of traditional baked Mexican goods, or go for some coffee/ espresso and smoothies. The sweetest woman ran this shop. I only stopped in quickly to order a small latte ($2.50) with hazelnut (+$0.50), but I was very satisfied. Temperature wasn't scalding either so I was able to consume my drink on the spot. Strong hazelnut presence which I enjoyed very much. I really wished I had tried the baked goods. The temptation was so real though!"
"Little shop at the corner with great service and delicious flats! It is great for on the way out or into the airport. One can order from the airport or after getting the rental car, then drive over to the store to pick up the order. We stopped in at 7AM for breakfast after we got off the flight. We ordered online and found street parking near the store. When the order was ready, one would receive a text. The store doesn't have table and chair so we ate in the car.The employees were super nice and accommodating on our order. We didn't wait for the order ready text and just stopped in. We didn't mind to wait but they hurrily prepared our order! The flat bread was toasted with meats or vegetables in the middle. Since the flat bread was toasted, it was soft yet crispy and warm. Yummy! Highly recommended!!!"
"Loved this cafe! Location was awesome, and inside the spot was great too. I enjoyed the ample seating options, but the ability to just order for on the go. Food was so so good and well priced. There was a bunch of options but I got the surf & turf panini. Service was decent too, nothing to write home about. Overall, the ambiance & food just makes this a great spot. Wish I lived in Boston so I could always come here!"
