Hello, It's that time again. This place needs no intro but I will give you one anyway! Harvard Market on Cambridge Street is right up there with the best pastrami sandwich around. This place has it all including reasonable prices. You don't find that to often in Cambridge, MA. Harvard Market has a wonderful variety of foods to choose from at the deli and though out the store. This is truly a gem!T.

Harvard Market is the incredible and reasonably priced alternative to the hell-pit that is Darwin's next door. The owners are friendly, the sandwiches come out quick, and you always leave with a smile. Never go to Darwin's again! I've only ever ordered the Cuban Panini because it was SO GOOD AND SO INCREDIBLE I never had the temptation to change the order after the first time. You can text them your order and they'll have it ready for you when you get there.

This store has had numerous face lifts since I was going to Rindge, but the latest seems to have taken. I have had some surly service here, but I have always felt like that must just be karma cause I raised hell inside and out of that place on numerous occasions. The store is the cleanest I've ever seen it too. I was almost like a proud momma, seeing how far we'd both come and what we've made of ourselves!

So I ordered some unhealthy snacks on Foodler (via MixMenu) from Harvard Market. My order was: 2 diet cokes, an Arizona half n half iced tea, an airhead, skittles, sour patch kids (original), Lays Munchies, and a Heath Bar. When I got the order delivered to me, I got: a Nature Valley Granola bar (instead of a Heath Bar), a box of strawberry gummies (instead of an Airhead), a strawberry flavored half n half Arizona iced tea, regular Lays potato chips, skittles, and 2 diet cokes. The order was so wrong I was laughing to myself. Out of the 7 things I ordered, only 2 were correct. I called Harvard Market to see if they could resend my order or refund me for the incorrect items. the woman I was speaking to seemed confused, and ended up telling me to call back MixMenu to sort things out instead. MixMenu refunded my order, making the Delivery guy come all the way back to give me my cash (he got an extra tip). I'm sure if I went here in person it'd be ok but I wouldn't trust them with a takeout order ever again.

My friend went to Harvard Market today and ordered a surprise bag. He picked up a bag stocked with what seemed like a plentiful harvest of goodies. But when he got back to his apartment and got ready to enjoy his meal, he opened up a bagged sandwich to realize it was covered in mold! What a surprise! The other contents seemed normal and did not have any mold, but smelled rather odd! I feel bad for my friend for this purchase mostly because of the moldy sandwich and recommend that you don't go there and don't waste your money there and don't eat moldy sandwiches from there and don't ever go there eating moldy sandwiches and bad surprise bags from Harvard market

Staff was friendly and kind. Got the sausage, egg, and cheese on white bread. The lady toasted it for me without even asking - she just knew the vibes. 10/10 would walk 15 minutes to say hi to the staff and get food here again.

This place is a real hidden gem. I typically stop here for their coffee + breakfast sandwiches and for incidentals like milk, snacks, and small grocery items. The breakfast sandwiches are great; I'm a connoisseur of the sausage-egg-cheese combo. Their bagels are fresh and the ingredients tasty. I also find the packaged grocery items very convenient (I don't feel like peeling my own garlic). The owners are very friendly, too.

Not staffed for deli services on the weekend. And they do not stock salad lettuce. If you want a salad they can cut up the sandwich lettuce, and I had them add some spinach to the mix but they do not have mesclun or other lettuce for their salads. Also all sandwiches are made as panini's (we ordered the chicken cordon bleu and realized after we left that it was put in the panini machine which made the lettuce, mayo, tomato very soggy and a bit gross. On a positive note, the coffee was excellent and the non-deli items were great in terms of selection.
