Note: only had the brunch. The vibe is really cool here - I love the historic space. Service was warm and friendly, and when our food was taking longer than expected - they brought us bakery items on the house. The food wasn't particularly great, especially for the price. My carbonara benedict came with only 4 small potatoes. The manicotti crepe was very thick, almost inedible - though the cured tomato was lovely. The Bloody Mary I ordered would've been great if they didn't let it sit and have the ice melt for 15 minutes at the bar. It was watery when I got it. The "Guava Be Kidding Me" drink was completely unbalanced. Cotton candy doesn't make for a very appropriate breakfast food - enough that's on us for ordering it. Wish we went somewhere else, to be honest.

I don't understand the dismal reviews for this beautiful brunch spot. I stayed at the hotel for three nights while in town for the Boston Half Marathon and had breakfast included so had breakfast and brunch here all three days. Each day was wonderful with excellent service, food, ambiance and timing of my tickets. I believe earlier issues have been seen in these reviews and addressed by management bc I was worried about all I had read and experienced none of it happened to me. My server the entire time, Jean, was polite, professional, prompt, around often, and all my food was out within minutes of order. My drinks never took longer than 5 minutes (including smoothies and hot tea) and my food never took longer than 10 minutes and I had a range of items. Over three days I tried: -Overnight Oats - served with strawberries, cacao and a hazelnut crunch-Almond Cinnamon and Berry Smoothies - fresh and yummy, nice size too-Egg Benedict - perfectly poached eggs, delicious bread, and perfectly cooked breakfast potatoes-Egg White Frittata - really really good! You can sub out mushrooms if needed.-Daily Danish/Muffin - ask for these warmed up! SUPER fresh and yummy. The danish when I was here was an apricot/almond and was stellar. I ordered it twice! -Hot Tea with cream / Dirty Chai Latte - both out in minutes and delish!-The Instagram Secret Milkshake - mine was a vanilla pumpkin pie creation. I had it after I ran the Boston Half Marathon - so fun. All my food was SO good! Warm, fresh, and out quickly. Service, down to the hostess, was wonderful and polite and prompt. I was never left looking for someone or waiting for my check. This restaurant is an old federal building and the elegance and charm has been preserved in the beautiful and classy ceiling and chandeliers, tabletop decor is gorgeous and classy as well. Highly, highly recommend. I'd come back in an instant! Prices are high - but it's a fancy hotel/establishment so I knew that going in (and my breakfast was mostly included in my stay).

Quality is decent, service is excellent, prices are bonkers. If I hadn't gotten a $90 daily breakfast credit snd $125 credit from Amex, this would've been a horrible value. Instead I was able to feed four and spent a reasonable amount on breakfast over the course of our stay.

Loved all the food we ate here! It also helped having a great server :) We came for brunch with a large party, and it seemed quiet for a weekend. Their decor is grand and bright, perfect for an early day date. It was quiet and echo-ey in their dining room, but it was still very kid-friendly. Our server even brought over a drawing board for the child in our party. The food came fairly fast and not all at once, allowing us to indulge in a couple of dishes before the next came. Their portions were a healthy size and the ~10 dishes we ordered easily fed our party of 8. Everything was scrumptious and tasty, nothing was without flavor. I am so excited to go back for another meal!

we got the lobster conchiglie pas and roasted green circle chick. the flavors were nice and warm. the lobster conchiglie pas was very delicious. however, for the price, i wouldn't say it was the best. the drinks were also mid--we got the passionate fruit ice tea and vanilla latte, which you could probs find better at a lower price. the space itself is very beautiful--it is well decorated in european style, brightly lit, and very aesthetic for social media! the vibes are def fancy and bougie. if you're looking for a restaurant with beautiful interior, i would recommend you check it out. the food was good and i would recommend you try it out once, but i am not eager to return here.

Apparently this place is pretty instagram/TikTok famous but I wasn't aware when we came here for a 10:30 breakfast reservation mid-week during February vacation. We literally had the entire restaurant to ourselves at this point. Hostess was friendly and seated us promptly. Took a little bit for the waitress to come over- which was odd given we were 1 of only 2 tables with guests! Kids menu included old school view finders- which was very cool- I must say, my son and my best friends daughter had never seen such devices but had gotten a kick out of it! I can't get my son to ever look at a menu so this was probably the first time he was excited to pick out his meal! He ordered the silver dollar pancakes and a fresh squeezed orange cake juice. For an empty restaurant the wait for the food was pretty long, and for whatever strange reason- my sons orange juice did not come out until halfway through his breakfast... I get that it's fresh squeezed but that was really strange and a tad annoying as we were both thirsty and I was planning on splitting it with him. My go to breakfast choose is ALWAYS French toast if I'm not doing eggs/bacon. The French toast they had on their menu looked ABSOLUTELY amazing however the flavor it featured was banana which I HATE- so I knew I couldn't order it no matter what way I twisted and turned. But I really wanted to so badly try it! Unfortunately I had to pass because that was the only flavor they had! I ended up ordering a Belgian waffle which was HUGE- I think I ended up eating half of it! It was good, but nothing "special" about it- for the price it could have been much better! My favorite part about my meal was the secret milkshake! It's not on the menu- but it is DELICIOUS and insta-gram worthy for sure! If you come here- you HAVE TO TRY IT! They have all different ones based on the time of year/what "holiday" is close by. We went at the end of February and we had the cutest Valentine's Day themed milkshakes!I would definitely come back but for the prices we paid- the service could have been better- and our fresh squeezed orange juice should've came out before OR with our meal- NOT halfway through our meal- with no apology! By the way it was $16 for that fresh squeezed orange juice so you can understand why I would be so frustrated when it came out after we had eaten most of our meal!

Grana came highly recommended and did not disappoint. Prices are competitive with Boston dining. The food was cooked to perfection and presented attractively. Our server was knowledgeable and personable, truly fabulous. The decor was incredible to view and elevated our experience even further. Well done, Grana!

I personally was not in love with my omelet but everyone else loved their food. I'd return to try the Benedict.
