Very delicious roll up lamb sandwich. Very nice woman took my order. On a street lined with mostly Asian restaurants Falafel King offers something different. Many items vegetarian and meat roll up, plate combinations w chicken, beef etc. some w salad, hummus, grape leaves, Lamb perfectly cooked roll up assembled nicely. Cooked to order not from a steamTable. Nice tahini sauce. Todays special: lamb shank plates salad and rice only 14.95

Well, one thing I can say for sure - this is a man-sized portion, enough to quench even the most voracious appetite! The Kafta with Falafel Roll-Up is a simple dish. While it isn't mind-blowing, sometimes simplicity is best, and here it works wonders! My only complaint is regarding execution: the ingredients were not consistently distributed. While I appreciate the challenges of doing so in a burrito, I feel that this doesn't apply to a rollup in the same way. It took until about the middle before the tomato and hummus made themselves known. The dish contained a generous amount of protein! The Kafta was flavorful and cooked well. The spinkles of falafel were in perfect amount also. Where it comes to veggies, I loved the salt, light acid, and crunch from the pickles. The lettuce helped add some crunch and freshness as well. Now, while I appreciate what the tomato did in adding moisture, being found only in the middle meant the effect was more limited. The same is true of the hummus - while I enjoyed its addition of creamy and savory notes, these were concentrated towards the center. I've no complaints about the tahini - it worked well accenting flavors throughout. Now, a few "before-I-forget" notes:- The Vimto drink was great! It is a unique blend of fruits, herbs and spices. Even if you're not a fan of soft drinks, I would still recommend trying it- The service is friendly and relatively fast, considering the freshness of the food.- The interior is a little plain, and seating is limited. While you are welcome to dine-in, this does appear to be more of a takeout-type spot. Thus, while my takeaway is to get a plate instead of a rollup next time, Falafel King has a lot going for it. While the food wasn't mind blowing, it delivered of a hearty, filling, and tasty meal! Well done!

My partner and I got a falafel plate, lamb, chicken, and kafta mixed plate, and Vimto drink -TASTE: 4/5 - had high expectations for the falafel and they delivered! The hummus on the side was super flavorful too and so easy to eat. Of the meats, I enjoyed the kafta the best. The Vimto drink was sweet and fruity TEXTURE: 5/5 - falafel was fried and crunchy on the outside w chewy chickpea filling on the inside. Both plates included soft rice pilaf and a small salad w crisp tomatoes and lettuce, which helped break up the entreesPRICE: 4/5 - our total came out to $32SERVING SIZE: 5/5 - much bigger portions than we expected and filled us up for dinner SERVICE: 4/5 - walked in at 5:45pm on a Thursday, ordered at the counter, and our food came out less than 10min later. A handful of folks came in and out for their takeout, some of whom appeared to be regulars ATMOSPHERE: 3/5 - dated space w approximately five tables for seating PARKING: 4/5 - got a free street spot on Hancock St

Found my new local go-to! The portions here are big and the food is always super fresh and delicious. Also, quick and friendly service. The space is clean and they have a couple seats to dine in but I have only done take out. We tried their chicken plate and kafta roll up. The chicken was juicy, and the plate came with rice, salad, hummus, and falafels. But my favorite was the kafta roll-up! It was refreshing, and it really hit the spot. Also- you need to try their falafels. I've never really liked falafels because the ones I've tried have always been so dry and bland, but I LOVE them here!! They're crispy outside and moist inside. Also, I'm not one to gravitate towards falafel and would prefer meat, but I really enjoyed the falafels and now order the falafels on the side.

This is such a great spot. It's super clean inside, but I think they get mostly takeout orders. It was just a lady and man working, and they were really nice and patient with us. The menu is a good size in my opinion, it's not huge but that means that the things they have are really good. We got 3 combo plates and two lassis for less than $60, it was a ton of food and really good. The falafel is really special, super crispy but not dry at all, with a ton of flavor. The kafta is pretty good but the chicken is really tender. I was surprised how many things came with the combo plate - taboulleh, dolma, hummus, baba gannoush, and salad, plus the meat and falafel. My only wish is that we'd had more bread for all of the dips. They cook the meat fresh to order too I think. We'll be back!

Good choice for takeout. You get a giant amount of food for $15. The chicken and kafta plate is a great option for a little bit of everything if you're feeling hungry. The meat was well seasoned. Hummus and pita was solid.

Friendly and quick. Flavor caters to middle of the road palette. Not truly authentic and not basic pretender either, truly american cut to classic middle eastern cuisine.

5 stars for their falafel, which are the best in New England. We live about an hour away, but whenever we're in Quincy we always order food from Falafel King. Hubby likes the wrap, but I like eating them individually which costs $0.95 each. This is a fast food place for take out only. I recommend ordering over the phone because it takes about 10 minutes to prepare the food and there's no place to sit. Street parking on a crowded and busy road, but I usually find a spot nearby.
