Authentic Mexican food with very reasonable prices. Order at the counter. I ordered the chicken tinga tacos and a fish taco. All were a bit different than I'm used to (something about the sauce) but were very good. Added a side of chips and salsa, which was quite large for one but was also tasty. Overall, good experience. Small space offering limited countertop seating with maybe half a dozen stools. Takeout is a good option with a park with benches right across the street. Friendly service

I adore a guey carnitas burrito with sour cream and guac from Chilicates pretty much weekly. I find their staff to be friendly and their prices are reasonable. Sometimes it takes a little longer than expected when I place my to go order (you can order on Toast which is a big improvement over their previous online order system) and waiting around the cute restaurant is not a big deal. The biggest concern I have is about consistency. If you are allergic to anything on the menu, I wouldn't eat from here. Our orders get screwed up somehow (pico when we said no pico, no guac when we paid for guac) probably a quarter of the time. It's a testament to my burrito devotion that this level of reliability hasn't turned me off as a customer! But it's careless enough that I would be worried if you really cannot eat something and it transfer in anyway. Maybe order in person and watch just to be safe.

Delicious tacos! I got the Al pastor and Chile salsa verde tacos - and both were so delicious! The food also came out fairly quick as well. My friend also got churros, which were also very tasty.There is limited seating inside, but there is a little park right across the street. So it may be nice to order some food and eat at one of the picnic tables and benches outside.

Small taqueria where signage wasn't easily visible. Ordered a super burrito grilled chicken with refried beans. It was decent size for a $11 burrito for lunch. It came with 2 small sauces for the burrito. We asked for some chips and salsa so when she charged me $6.50 I was expecting this something out of the world hot and salty and fresh and crispy chips with this homemade sauce. What I received were these cold chewy old no salt chips and in a white paper bag and salsa that was bland. We also ordered 2 soft drinks which were both basically room temperature and they do not have cups or ice. The seating is tight and communication was difficult so that didn't help. The bathroom was dirty and small and had no paper towels nor did the hand air dryer work.
