Cafe Pulse

I am going to tell you right now, the espresso drinks here are fantastic, but you need to be willing to take out a second mortgage on your home to afford them. I ordered a medium hazelnut latte made with almond milk. It was piping hot, and had the right amount of foam because the barista clearly had an understanding of how to foam non-dairy milk. Kudos to him. It was flavored with hazelnut but not super sweet, extra win. The espresso was pulled correctly to give it the right body and caffeine kick. Altogether, it was a glorious latte. It also cost over $7. Whaaaaat?!?!?! If the cost of Starbucks makes you cringe, you need to emotionally prepare yourself for Cafe Pulse. I am not saying the quality wasn't there, but was it $7 there, for the addition of hazelnut and almond milk on top of the already pricey bare bones latte? Debatable, at best. That being said, if I was in the area, I'd likely get another one again as a splurge treat.

I'm not from the area so I was a little hesitant to give the coffee bar a chance BUT I'm glad I did. I ordered an iced mocha latte and it was very delicious. I loved the spot it was in and the staff was great.

Cafe Pulse is a little stand off to the side of Quincy Market, and serves a variety of baked breakfast items, french macarons (the raspberry one is delicious paired with coffee!!!), and coffee beverages to go. I haven't had any of their baked goods, only the Iced Coffee. They are a bit more pricey then some of the other local coffee shops in the area, but WORTH IT. The Iced coffee is cold brewed, delicious, and stronger than any coffee I've ever had. If you needed a pick me up after a long day and/or night, or right before a long 3 hour meeting, this Ice Coffee will be your salvation. They do have a $5 minimum when purchasing by credit card though, so you may end up buying a $2.50 macaron to go with the coffee.

Good coffee, good almond milk lattes, good lattes. Even though this is a small little shop, they made good lattes and cappuccinos. The milk is always perfect temp. The coffee tastes fresh and if you are lucky, you will get some fun latte art.

Delicicious coffee and lattes! Service was quick and the employees were super friendly! They had a lot of syrup flavor choices if you like flavored coffees, including sugar free hazelnut. Yum!

These people that work here are so so rude. They laugh and make fun of their customers and do not make people feel welcome at all. I had such a bad experience i will never go back. I was going to buy something to drink and they told my i cant sit at their tables because i was not a paying customer. They didnt even give me a chance to order something. I will also be telling people i know not to come here either. No one should have to feel that unwelcome at a place they are giving their hard earned money.. i would rather go to starbucks.

Casual place in the middle of Quincy market. Good place to snack and get hydrated, but there was a line when I went and 1 cashier.

I love this place... The coffee is great and always fresh. I work in the area so I go daily. The service is fantastic especially when I get my favorite barista, Brianna she is always so friendly and my co workers and I just love her, she always starts our order as soon as she sees us and we always get service with a smile.

Refreshing Arnold Palmer, but not a ton of flavor, pretty watered down, even without ice. Friendly staff. A nice little seating area.
