The Corned Beef Hash was delicious too and the poached egg was done to perfection. Service is always spot-on efficient without making you feel rush, although they often have a line of people waiting to get in. Parking is street only - so it's best to come early enough to find parking. They don't take reservations but you can call ahead and inquire as to how long the wait is ahead of time. Small shop with seating inside and great service! Quick and to the point. But it's the combination of flavors and bread I love. Pastrami and corned beef! With slaw and dressing! Oh yes please. The cuban was also about perfect! Chips? Yes. Soda and other drinks? Yes!! Just go!!!"

Love the Rachael wrap and the Jim's style hot dog -- the flavors tied in so well and love the amount of bacon and meat in each. For the hot dog, I love how the bun held up well while carrying so much inside and that it doesn't break apart. I definitely want to come back to try some more of their options. But I was not a huge fan of their French toast -- I would not come back for this again, but would be open to see if their other breakfast options are tastier."

I'm not kidding when I say we stumbled onto this place, but what's that saying "God takes care of drunks and fools!" Monica's is the picture perfect provision store in all of Boston's North End! The sandwich I had, the Italian Sausage Special, was THE BEST SANDWICH EVAH! I'm not kidding. If you're in Boston, come here and buy lots of stuff, including sandwiches. If you're anywhere else in the whole wide world, get on a plane, train, automobile or boat and come here and buy stuff! The ambiance (I usually frown on such associations) is like something out of Godfather #1. Bethany M. "The Italian subs here are legit. They do not skimp on the ingredients - the mortadella, the prosciutto, the salami, the buff mozz, and on and on. The quality just shows out. On to the other items: the mozzi sticks are on the salty side, but they hit the spot. The fries are coated in some sort of batter; they taste alright (who cares when the subs are so delish?). Pastas were fine - the kids liked the bolognese, even though it was just marinara with some flecks of meat tossed in. Desserts were a bit of a meh; cheesecake was passable - the carrot cake and chocolate cake were sweet Crisco-bakery duds. Bottom line: stick with the sandwiches, which are fan-f-ing-tastic."

The bagels are not cheap but are a tasty non-NYC option.I came here on a Friday in the late morning. You order at the counter and then take your number to whatever table is open, and bus your own table afterwards. The food came out quick.I got the nova lox sandwich ($13.75) on an everything bagel. The cream cheese was thick and filled the bagel hole in the middle! I wouldn't have minded a larger portion of lox but there was enough to get lox in every bite. I was impressed by how much they packed the bagel with everything seasoning. This is a bagel to stay away from if you are on a date and don't want to be caught with seeds in your teeth.I also tried their latkes ($8.50) which were super delicious fresh. The outside was so crispy and crunchy! The inside was perfectly cooked. The portions are not super big so this isn't the most budget-friendly spot."

I got a sampler with a delicious assortment of Mediterranean snacks anchored by a generous portion of house pita chips. I've been frequenting here and grabbing a sandwich or a spring roll referred to as fresh roll for at least a decade or two. The sandwiches are always fabulous. My favorite on the crunchy extremely messy crummy rolls which are delicious. Is the beef sandwich with a variety of vegetables and they pickle very tasty. I've posted some photos. You definitely have to try one. And don't forget to order extra nothing Vietnamese butter. It's freaking amazing. As for the fresh roll. You always get two whole shrimp plus your veggies and noodle in a nice thin wrap and it comes with some fabulous peanut sauce. I could drink the sauce it's so great. Now the people behind the counter are extremely efficient but a little bit on the rude side. Basically you go in you order your food then they ask you to go outside and wait because there's only about 3 feet where someone can order food so on a rainy snowy day it's not the place you wanna head out to but on a sunny day during good weather definitely, you'll always see a crowd or at least three or four people standing out front on a nice day, waiting for their sandwiches and food. As it's in Chinatown the parking is extremely tough so plan ahead just as if you're gonna go to any other restaurant in Chinatown even if you're just picking up a sandwich or say a prayer and do what everyone else does, double park and hopefully not get a ticket. This place is well-established and has been there for approximately 20 years give or take and the food is always good."

They've got plenty of options, but you've got time to make up your mind before you get to the counter. Don't get to the counter without knowing what you want. You'll be appropriately reproached. New Deal has a great produce section and interesting groceries as well, so you can browse while you wait. I got the Marco Polo, which is chicken cutlet with provolone and broccoli rabe. I'll give Lambert's this much, it satisfied my craving for a pastrami and an Italian sub. Plus the subs and sandwiches here are hearty and plenty filled. I can get 2 more meals out of the pastrami and Italian I got.The hot pastrami was on a soft French roll and the pastrami was sliced thin, yet piled high with melted Swiss and some mustard. The taste of the warm, fatty, and briney pastrami hit the spot. Is this the best pastrami I've tasted, no, but it makes the cut.The cold Italian is tucked soundly on a soft French roll and layered high with Italian cold cuts including, salami, capicola, pepperoni, mortadella, and soppressata, with provolone, and assembled with lettuce, tomato, hots, and pickles. Thanks to Lucy's who had an Italian eggroll which was tasty, made me crave an Italian sub. They have Boars Head deli meats which automatically means the quality is top notch. I ordered a Roast Beef sandwich with cheddar, lettuce, tomato, mustard and mayo. It was really delicious.I did also order a Greek salad wrap to save for later. It wasn't as good as the roast beef, and it didn't help that I didn't eat it right away. They have alot of other niche products like an Italian deli from where I grew up in NY. The have a good selection of random beverages too, plus some premade salads to go with your sandwich. Various sodas and some European chocolates make me their candy section. The list of specialty sandwiches is pretty varied. You can do Italian cold cuts, turkey, veggie wraps, etc. They have all the condiments you could want and a variety of things like olives and peppers to add some more flavor to the sandwich. There is no seating so you're going to be getting the sandwich to go. Mark T. "So, you're probably wondering if The Real Deal is the real deal - based on my experience with the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich, I can confidently say "yes!" Sometimes when it comes to sandwiches, I go ham with the toppings. I have been known to go to Subway, and say "everything but...". At the same time, I appreciate that sometimes, less is more. This was the case here, with the chicken, pickles, and especially the sauce being all this sandwich needs. Let me tell you about this sauce, because it was a rare case where I could devour a sauce as if it were soup! This hasn't happened in a year! It was a blend of their nashville and a honey creme-fraiche. It hit all the notes for me: it was a little spicy, smoky, savory, creamy, and had a hint of sweetness too - absolutely incredible! The chicken itself was cooked well, being crisp, hot, and tender. Pickles were in perfect amount as well, enough to convey some crispness, acid, and salt without being overpowering or hidden. by the way, the 'leaking' sauce seen in the photo was complete non issue, and made it all the better as I could taste it on its own. In terms of value, $12 feels like a more than reasonable value considering the quality and freshness of the sandwich. Thus, though I initially wasn't feeling wraps/melts/sandos in general while visiting JP, I am very glad I stopped in, and am looking forward to trying more of their offerings in the near future."

We went around noon time on a Saturday and it was all a little confusing where to order or if you sat down if someone would wait on you? We waited in line for a little bit and we ended up asking someone sitting at a table nearby and he said that they would come to the table, so we sat and waited and finally we went up to order at the counter. They were doing table service, but we just hadn't seen anyone up to this point waiting on tables, they did bring our order to us when it was done. They have about a half dozen tables and they do a really busy takeout business, there were so many people in and out ordering and picking up takeout orders. We ordered sandwiches...my husband a pastrami and I got a meatball grinder. Husband said the pastrami was good and my meatball was ok, nothing special. I think maybe we ordered the wrong thing, maybe their specialty is their pasta dishes? It's a very unassuming sandwich shop that's quite easy to miss. My friends have lived a few blocks away for a year and never even noticed this place. Inside the shop, there are a few seats, but it is definitely much more of a takeout place. It seems like most of their orders are for catering as well. When I got there, my order was taken at the front by a very kind woman. I ordered a few sandwiches and fries for about $50 total and then was told it would be about 10 minutes. Lucky for me, there was a Dunkin a short walk away so I went to grab some coffee. Once I was back, it was just another minute or so for my food. The sandwiches are MASSIVE. I mean these were the biggest subs I've ever seen and I included a photo below with some hands for reference. I ordered a New Yorker for myself and then 2 other breakfast sandwiches for my friends which I did not try. The New Yorker was incredible - nice meaty, cheese, and carb heavy - the perfect meal for a long day ahead or as a hangover cure - an absolutely fantastic sandwich. The sandwiches are definitely too big to be just 1 meal. I stretched mine out for just 2, but could easily have been 3. This easily helps to justify the rather expensive cost of a single sub.The fries were really good too - they were the sort of double fried ones with all the crispy bits on the outside. Definitely a great local spot to visit, I highly recommend."

Nupur L. "Y'all, how do I put it? Livi's slaps. The homemade pita chips are just fantastic. So good that I have to hide the container on the way home so that I don't finish them and lose valuable room for their fresh sandwiches. They have cashew, pistachio, and walnut baklava that are literally perfect in their crunch and flakiness. There's spinach pie that sings of lemon and dill and is eminently satisfying to pull apart just to see how gorgeously the soft and yeasty pie separates...I could go on. I learned of all of these delights in the service of getting Livi's sandwiches to go. I'd previously always ordered off of Postmates but the exorbitant fees, along with the uncertainty of whether the order would be accepted and placed in time, actually got me in a car today. To get food. I left my apartment when I had other options available at the click of a button to get Livi's. In 2021, that speaks to how good Livi's is. I generally get the falafel and chicken or falafel sandwiches with eggplant added. The falafels are perfectly seasoned and what I call "optimal wrap falafels." Their size is such that you get falafel in every bite. Their grilled chicken is very juicy and flavorful...if I'm feeling healthier, I'd just get a grilled chicken wrap. Not today, Satan. The falafel and eggplant is decadent in how delicious it is but given other things you could be eating that hit that kind of way, it's not too bad in the overall health scheme of things. I don't know what pita they use but it's the softest with the most satisfying pull. Again, that pull! The pandemic has changed Livi's hours but even then, they'd close by 6 on weeknights and be closed on weekends if I remember. Current hours are 11:00 AM-3:00 PM on weekdays but I'd call ahead. This is absolutely worth structuring your lunch break around. If you're looking for the best falafel sandwiches and PITA CHIPS and spinach pie in Providence, look no further. I'm gonna go on a limb and say this pizza's a 7 out of 10 for me.Now, as for the tuna melt, this one's...okay. I mean, the portion's a bit large, in my opinion and the tuna itself could be seasoned more. Plus, the fries were somewhat reminiscent of BK's fries, only not as thick. 6 out of 10.The staff are an...interesting bunch. It may be just because everyone's still wearing masks.
