Bangkok Spice Thai Restaurant

The food was delicious! We ordered 2x pad Thai, pad see ew, massaman curry and 3x Thai iced tea. Pad Thai was our favorite! Pad see ew did not have the wide noodles we are used too, but still good! Wait staff is very friendly. We would definitely come back again to try pad Thai basil and yellow curry as recommendations from fellow diners

Divine chow -- fresh veggies all over that garden salad! Yum, I ordered the dumplings -- supple & scrumptious. The noodles here are outstanding & succulent, also. Fresh -- yes, very fresh. The chicken was also very well cooked. (Applause to the kitchen!) Spices were spicy. Satisfying. Seems like a great, local, family-owned biz. Staff rocks + food is dynamite!

Very good food. We got Spicy Bamboo with beef which was very tasty. The vegetables in the dish were yummy. The beef could have been cooked till more tender. It was too chewy for me. We had an appetizer, golden triangles, that were okay. I bet they would be better if there were 2-3 larger ones rather than many smaller ones. They reminded me of tiny Indian Samosas. The sweet chili sauce was perfect. The service was great. Atmosphere is that of a small place with about 10 tables. I would return for sure.

Very small unassuming place serving very decent Thai food in the middle of nowhere, i.e. Reading, which we were in only because the Wallyworld there is closer than the one in Saugus. Just one server, who was very nice, and maybe 1-2 people in the kitchen tops. So the food wasn't made super quick, but that's actually a good sign if you think about it (means it can't be pre-made Sysco crap but possibly made to order and from scratch). I won't claim this is the best Thai food I've ever had, but it certainly wasn't the worst. Portions were quite generous and we had to take half of the noodles and fried rice home, which means solid value. Even more generous: there seemed to be more meat/shrimp than rice/noodles! My only quibbles: the Tom Yum soup was a bit too sweet and not sour enough (plenty spicy though), and the "tamarind duck" was unfortunately battered and deep fried, which the menu listing failed to indicate. I ordered the latter because I was curious, having never had duck in a Thai place before...I won't again, as deep-frying duck = it ends up tasting mostly like boring, bland & dry CHICKEN, not deliciously juicy & fatty & flavorful duck in all its natural glory. The sweet and sour sauce that accompanied the duck in a beautiful bowl of assorted veggies helped a lot, though it really tasted more like Chinese sweet-and-sour than Thai...don't think there was much tamarind. Ergo, in the future I will restrict my duck ordering to the Chinese BBQ place in Chinatown. Coulda shoulda woulda...sigh. However, that is not enough to deter me from coming back here next time I'm in town. Just will stick to the tried and true Thai standards.

This Duck dish is delicious. Ordered to go. Only reason it's not a 5 . Need to be spicier. What's a Thai dish without the kick. Maybe because I didn't specify but they didn't ask. Also, what Thai restaurant doesn't include rice with their dish!!! They should at least ask if I want rice. So if you try this dish, ask for rice. It would be perfect with some Jasmine.

Absolutely love this Restaurant. Have been coming here with family and ordering take out for over 10 years. Great authentic Thai, always consistent, great portions for price. Never bland and happy customer service.

Stopped in for lunch with a friend. I've been here once before a few years ago. The menu was full of great choices so I pulled my signature move and asked the server to ask the kitchen to make me their best dish. It ended up being a fantastic Pad Thai! Very tasty with just the right spice level. Prices were great as our meal came to about $22 for two...not too bad for lunch out!
