This place is a staple for BC students because of how close it is to campus and it is pretty solid. The prices are reasonable and the food is also tasty! I love how nice the people are there, I was treated with a lot of smiles and the man there was super nice and let me try the other sauce for my chips for free! The place has a lot of space to sit and hangout while eating your food. I would come here again especially for days I want cheap but filling food!

Since I'm originally from California, I find myself craving Mexican food ALL THE TIME. Amelia's has been my go-to spot for burritos since I live really close to the Brighton location. I usually opt for the carnitas burrito with refried beans, Mexican rice, mild chipotle sauce, sour cream, cheese, corn, and a bit of jalapeños! I'm giving it 3 stars since the refried beans were more like soupy pinto beans and the rice was a bit hard. Also, they used to put a slice of cheese and melted it on the tortilla but they no longer do that.It still satisfied my burrito craving and I enjoyed it outside on this warm day!

This five star review is exclusively for their torta. And that too, their Santa Fe chicken torta. With fried plantains. Mmmm. If you want proof, look at the photos below!I feel like they've prefected the torta game. You choose your protein first (my choice is the Santa Fe chicken - it's marinated chicken with peppers, juicy and flavorful). They add in the various toppings - refried beans, oxaca cheese, pickled onions, avocado, chipotle aioli. I also request to add fried plantains and Pico de Gallo. They toast it until the bread is crispy on the outside and the cheese melts. It's delicious! My other choices here haven't worked out so well: Ordered a quesadilla once, but they rolled it up weirdly like a burrito and called it a quesadilla, don't know what happened there. Tried the grilled chicken taco but was a little dry. Got the torta with fried fish but it was a little too fishy for me and the smell of old refried oil. Same with the churros. This could be a one off thing, but I haven't tried it again. Also, every topping has a price associated to it. But it's still quite affordable. And torta-licious!

It's Tuesday and in my culture, that means tacos. And here's Amelia's to the rescue!Competing with the more famous burrito people a few doors down, this place has a bigger selection of stuff. Proteins include fish and shrimp and spicy chicken. Toppings like fresh corn, fried plantains and sliced avocado in addition to the usual sour cream and cheese and guacamole.I got three tacos and while they were all topped the same, the protein underneath was different. Spicy pulled chicken, steak and fish. All delicious. It's not perfectly organized here and there's an air conditioning vent that drops onto one of the seats, but the restaurant is clean and well cared for. The folks behind the counter are friendly. And that's my round number review 9100!

The owner was on site and provided a recommendation for how to dress up my very basic, hunger induced meal selection. Chicken quesadilla with rice and beans. Topped by Pico, sour cream, and mild Chipotle.

This review is specifically for my most recent visit.I wanted to switch up my dinner regimen....a change from pizza, so I went to Amelia's.Overall, my experiences here have been good (I just wish they'd bring back the street corn!!!) but this visit was particularly good.I asked for extra cheese on my burrito- they did not disappoint.I filled up the burrito and decided to upgrade to a meal (soda and chips). The gent at the register was very hospitable and friendly....having a conversation with me, but even better, he proudly offered a free sample of VERY fresh homemade salsa. It was so good I recommended he market it! I don't like anything spicy. This had a kick but was delicious.Folks, go to this Amelia's and leave the adjacent chipotle in the dust! I ordered two SIDES of chips and guac from chipotle.....and was stunned by the fact that it was almost $20 for a small bag of chips and an even smaller ramekin of guac....i started walking away but decided to turn around and return it...I went to Amelia's and got the same thing....fresher chips, bigger serving of guac, and about 1/3 the price, TOTAL.Amelia's is the place, folks!Just bring back the street corn and keep those soda fountains stocked and you'll be golden. And market that salsa!

Absolutely love Amelia's! Fantastic food and above and beyond customer service. Normally I am hesitant to try new places given my allergies. I ordered from their website and indicated my allergies, and an employee called me prior to making my order to confirm my restrictions and ensure everything was safe for me to have. They went out of their way to make sure everything was correct, and couldn't have been kinder about it. Food was ready extremely fast, and it was the best chimichanga I've ever had. I will definitely be coming back

Terrible bland meat, of any kind seems like they dont know what salt is. 5 dollar tacos are not worth it. $2.99 metal cans of soda definitely not worth it. But i kind of understand why the meat is Bland is in the middle of Cleveland Circle... you do the math. I expected a decent quality product after paying 20+ for 3 tacos and a metal can of soda. Never again.
