A really great spot. Fast, delicious, and quick service. Food was great and the staff were friendly. The place was also clean and had a nice vibe. Would definitely return when I'm in the area.

Good food, fast but impersonal service, cool decor. Place was practically empty when we walked in and that's not too surprising given it was the first Friday in the new year and students are not back yet from the break so it's kind of quiet. We got our order to go - 2 rice bowls - spicy chicken and spicy steak and 1 nachos with chicken. Spicy chicken bowl with veggies (lettuce, onions/cilantro, corn, pico de gallo, salsa verde was very flavorful, tasty and filling. Hubs liked his steak bowl too. Nachos were ok. We walked back home in about 15 minutes so it wasn't that long but food was kind of lukewarm by then.Portions were decent so we had a few leftovers which is always good!

Ugh! I was hoping to really like this place. I was craving a Chipotle bowl & decided to try something local. I didn't get much flavor in my Mexican Bowl or Queso. $14 wasn't a terrible price, but nothing i'd ever pay again. Staff was friendly & attentive!

Let me start by saying that there is some tasty food here. Until very recently it was a regular lunch spot for me, but things have changed here in the last month or so. Despite some very tasty items remaining in the menu, they removed my two favorite proteins (chorizo and chili verde). That's not the worst part, though. At the same time they removed those items from the menu, prices went up noticeably. Things are expensive and I understand that. The portions, however, shrunk dramatically at the same time. The small size burrito gets slightly less fillings, and the large now gets the same amount as the small, only in a large tortilla. I had one that I could literally put my fingers around doing the "okay" sign. So, aside from inflation *and* shrinkflation at the same time, the flavors are quite delicious. However, for the same price as a large burrito here, I can go to the Naco Taco food truck on Newbury Street and get two excellent tacos and a side of elote (street corn). Although I'm sure I'll still go here occasionally since it's so close to my office, that's my new go to.

Not bad, but not far from bad, you don't get much protein but it's also not super pricey food. The bathroom is not an option for customers.

I got the Mexican fries with steak and for the price (about $10), the portion is pretty decent. I was able to eat it twice after eating half for lunch. Food wasn't very authentic but it satisfied my craving for some loaded fries. The steak was dry and under seasoned. The cut was probably more suited for a shredded rather than cubed/chopped beef. It needed salsa to add more heat to the dish. Service was fast and it was empty when I went.

I really want to like this busy, cheery place. I ate here when I visited Boston last year and could not wait to come back. And tonight's burrito was delicious too. But the guy making it gave me only a third the amount of meat that he gave to the tall, beefy guy just ahead of me. It shouldn't matter if I'm smaller than the other customer, I still paid the same amount of money as he did so I should get the same amount of food. The other thing was that there was so much lime squeezed into the guacamole that it was in edible. So since my first time here was so good, and since it's a small, mom-and-pop type restaurant I am willing to give it one more try in the future.

Amelia's is for everything. Amelia's is for celebration, for sadness, for joy, for hard days, for sickness and for health. Amelia's chimichanga is a balm for the soul. I no longer live close enough to walk, and it makes my days that much sadder. Amelia's has friendly staff, delicious food, and a lovely dining room with lots of seating for a Boston establishment. I miss Amelia's daily, and any day when I can eat Amelia's is the best day ever.

Food is incredibly low quality and very expensive. Stick to chipotle or avoid all together.
