Boston Pocket & Deli

Okay so I got a Italian sandwich with the hots, oil and vinegar with mayo and some mustard along with lettuce and tomato. I never had boars head but whole shit the vibe of the place is amazing and the owners and workers were so funny and nice. I enjoyed the sandwich so much I'm going AGAIN TOMORROW. It's only 7 minutes from my job. I'm big on sandwiches. I'm very satisfied.

This is a local deli shop in the South End that had great reviews off Yelp so we wanted to try it out. I had the Bacon, Sausage, egg and cheese on the Everything Bagel. It def hit the spot!!! Haven't tried the other food on menu but it's a must try lunch and dinner now. Great experience and friendly service.

Wanted to check out this gem because they have boars head brand cold cuts and it was really awesome !!! Got a cracked pepper boars head Turkey sub with veggies, hots and dressing, it was super delicious and bread was great and fresh as well. Really happy to have found it and will be going lots more! Owner was a rly sweet man as well! :) there is also a cute park right next to it where you can eat your sandwiches!

Stopped by here after a day in the city. I love little sandwich/deli shops so i was super excited to stop by here. The guy behind the counter was so so nice and welcoming. Loved chatting with him and he helped me order. I knew i wanted a pastrami sandwich bc that's what's popular. I trusted him and told him to make it the way he makes it! Such a nice and friendly experience. We ended up going across the street to the park to eat the sandwich. it was smaller than expected and not filled with pastrami like you would expect. But the flavor was good and the bread was great. 4 stars for experience and a classic sandwich. Sandwich was decent and i would try an italian sandwich next time. Def would go back, very cute spot. And VERY clean!!!

Awesome little deli with kind, fast working staff, delicious sandwiches, and courtesy customers. I ordered a tuna wrap, got to customize what the tuna was mixed with, and it hit the spot. Would highly recommend if you're looking for a good old sandwich, and it was under $10!

Went here to grab a bite to eat in the morning. There was no other customers early on a Thursday, so I was helped right away. The guy working the counter was super friendly and cooked up a three egg and ham sandwich on wheat that was actually exactly what I was craving that morning--and at a reasonable price ($5). Overall, wasn't sure what to expect for this place, but was very pleasantly surprised and would recommend it to anyone looking for a quick bite around the area.

The man behind the counter (I'm guessing ghe owner?) was super friendly! He had just sanitized the deli space because of covid and he was wearing a mask correctly. Love to see that! I got an Italian sub with everything and it was delicious! You should know there is no seating, it's just a place to pick up subs and chips and it's also a small convenient store. So if you're not. Looking for a sit down place, I recommend!

Good subs. Boarshead meats. I wish they put a little more meat on the sandwiches, but for the price and the quality, it's fair. They have drinks and staples, but really just come here for the sandwiches.

Based on the glowing reviews on here I decided to try this deli out. My expectations were far from met. I got a steak and cheese. The sandwich was small, had almost no meat in it, I'm not even sure it was steak (?). To top it off, this "sandwich" ended up setting me back $16!! Unbelievable price tag for what I received. This sandwich made me download yelp so I could write this review.

they make a good BEC and good sandwiches but every time I'm in there, there's one employee who's rude for no reason. I noticed him being rude to others a few months ago and the most recent time I was there, he was rude to me as well. which sucks bc I like this place but don't wanna deal with him !!
