Boogie's Chicago Style BBQ

Good food with nice size portions I like the wings rib ends the most so far. Will go back again to try other item. Also the the wings were large that's a plus

Food was delicious and fresh! Service and atmosphere was great! Talked football and enjoyed the food with a co-worker and a few other patrons.

I haven't been that way in a long time, and the rib tips were calling my name! The service is fast with a simple menu too understand and friendly staff. A small chill place with a few seats inside if you decide to eat a quick bite. I decided to get something different that I've never tried from them, sliced beef on bun with spicy sauce. The sauce is good with the right amount of weight on it but the brisket not so much, on the drier side and very salty. I mean heavy seasoned for sure! The bun is ok and thankfully it's butter toasted which helps but the meat itself was too salty. I also ordered a side of smoked chicken which looks pretty good. I personally wouldn't try the brisket again.

Super expensive and not very nice!! $17.50 for a brisket sand and a drink!! Ridiculous!! The sandwich was good, but definitely not worth $17!! Not even sone fries or any side for that matter.. last time I'll be dropping by here for sure.. specially with the costumer service I received..

Good place, but it's not cheap. I got sliced brisket, potato salad and boudain balls. The brisket is up to par with other Texas BBQ places, nice smokiness, and fork tender, not quite fall apart tender, but it's very good. The potato salad was great, kinda tangy, works well with the creamy mayo and mustard goodness. The boudain balls are huge, the size of baseballs. The boudain was mostly rice, with a hint of liver, and I like more liver in my boudain. I'd still recommend them though.The service was good here too. No waiting in long lines. My order was out in 10 minutes. Boogie did me right.I have a minor issue with the ambience of the place. There's lots of Black Pride propaganda on the wall. Here in Texas, blacks and whites just get along together without much animosity. But Boogie is from Chicago, so I can understand why he has animosity towards whites. This doesn't detract from the fact they know what they're doing here, and if you don't mind dropping a few more dollars, it's gonna be worth it.Also, two people after me ordered turkey burgers here, so that must be a popular item. I plan and stopping by and trying one another time, just to see.

The service was fast. The lady that took my order was very friendly. Ribs were tender, flavorful, chicken sandwich tasted ok but wasn't appealing looking. 2 meat dinner with two sides brisket, & chicken with Mac and cheese with green beans was awesome. They give you a lot of food. Fried chicken wings were very good. Sausage sandwich was very good and appealing looking.

I come and visit Boogies at least once a week. The wing and tips are awesome. Their daily lunch specials are amazing.

Rib tips took me back to Leon's BBQ in the Chi! Delicious! Long drive for me but my mom's caregiver lives close so whenever I can get her to bring me an order I will be happy!

Second time trying the barbecue is great! First time getting smoked turkey for Thanksgiving awesome and juicy

Great service and great food. Our company outing was a success thanks to Boogie's. Friendly people. They made sure everyone was well taken care of and the food was amazing
