I tried it today by my friends recommendation and it was great, service by Ken was fast and gave us good recommendations. We tried the Antojito for appetizer, the crispy shrimp in the Fuji roll was a different and delicious touch to the roll. This restaurant is a great addition to Doral.

It's an OKAY.... Restaurant. I think the drinks were highly overprice and unbalanced and some of the food is only for show. Service was good and the server Ken was very attentive.This an instagram/tiktok restaurant.Been there done that..... next! There are cheaper better tasting alternatives around the area. Unfortunately my experience was not wow. I was really excited for this but did not make the cut for me.

Bonsai in Doral is a classic sushi restaurant that takes me back to my university days in Venezuela. The Fuji Roll is still my favorite, maintaining the same quality at a very reasonable price. The service is excellent and impeccable. I'm happy to see places that bring back so many memories coming to Miami. I highly recommend Bonsai.

One of my favorite venezuelan sushi restaurants has come to Miami! They have a great ambiance and nice decor, we were treated nicely, it was pretty busy so i recommend to book in advance. The croquetas didn't disappoint at all, they are as I remember them from Venezuela. I got their famous fuji roll and their Tokyo roll. Both yummy and delicious. Definitely will come back.

Excellent experience at Bonsai Sushi. The staff is courteous and attentive. The restaurant is very modern and pretty. This was our first time here and I can already say it won't be our last. The menu is extensive, reasonably priced and the food is delicious. We had a minor mishap with the Pad Thai where it just tasted like peanut butter, they took care of it and even the chef apologized after confirming they had ran out of tamarind sauce. Other than that, everything was fantastic. The drinks were really good, specially the Honshu Lychee. The Arepa Kani was great too as a take of crispy rice cakes. The Alaska Special was very tasty, and if you like the flavor profile of ceviche, the acevichado roll is an excellent choice. Desserts were good too (somehow we still had room for it) everything was delicious and definitely a place you must try. I recommend doing reservations because it gets really full.
