Bondi is an amazing casual dining vibe with high quality sushi! I'm so happy because Miami needed more of this for moments when you just want to chill with fabulous sushi. The menu is fantastic and prices are super fair. I love the shokupan toast, think of it like a Japanese bruschetta. So fun! The crispy rice is delicately crispy like if you were to scrape it fresh from a pan, I love this. The seafood is fresh, sashimi does not disappoint. Spicy blue crab hand roll is amazing and so are the rolls. I highly recommend sushi lovers to enjoy an experience here. Bondi sushi exceeds your expectations and will make you want to come back to try the entire menu!

Happily surprised by my second visit to bondi. Seems like they worked some of their kinks out since they first opened down here... However, temperature of the hand rolls are still a bit off, so next time I'm opting for the hand-rolls where the filling is not "cold". For example, order the spicy blue crab over the lobster hand roll. And, a double order of the spicy scallop. The spicy blue crab/ scallop get a hit of the torch, so when you bite into it you're not biting into cold filing + warm rice. (However, I wish they just let the fish get to room temp before rolling)Anyways, sushi to rice ratio is great, their rolling technique is A+, and their prices are fair (any 5 hand rolls for $40) - overall, a solid neighborhood spot to curb the hand roll craving.

First of all, the food is great. But the first I was there I walk in at 6 and I'm told by the manager that happy hour is until 6. One of the chefs corrects him and says it's 7. Another day I'm told that Sunday is happy hour all so show up today and it's until 6 according to the manager. But the sign on the door says all day. Funny how nobody knows anything for sure. They can't speak English or Español and if they did they would be able to communicate. Welcome to Miami.

They rolled out the red carpet for me at Bondi Sushi! I got the omakase, because it's an amazing price, and it was a great. Each piece of sushi was innovative and unique with complex flavors and ingredients. Caviar and truffles? Yes please! It also flowed well, from more simple pieces to fattier pieces to a hand roll. The food was amazing but the highlight was the service! The chefs and server were so friendly and kind, and they all talked to me about where they were from, how the sushi was prepared, and more. The bonus was when they gave me a dessert on the house!I was looking for a special meal in South Beach and this was the perfect fit.

Not enough good things to say about this place! My boyfriend picked this spot for a Valentines Day dinner and it was 10/10 delicious. We were looking for a decent handroll spot in Miami and this was beyond decent!! Btw their happy hour is PHENOMENAL. Probably one of the best deals in Miami! All handrolls are $5 and cocktails are just as cheap (around $8) and sooo good. We had Dylan as our server and Camillo as our sushi chef and both were chef's kiss, amazing! They were patient and kind. They explained things and helped us order. They paced out our handrolls. We ordered like 8 different handrolls and a few nigiri's and everything was extremely fresh and made with the best technique. You can tell the chef's really care about the fish and the servers really want you to have a great experience. The ambiance was nice and quiet. Great lighting and atmosphere. I can't WAIT to be back!

Bondi.. oh Bondi. I've been here over a handful of times now and it has stayed consistent! Im usually here after work with a couple coworkers and as soon as we walk in, we are greeted with a friendly smile and a "welcome back!". The staff always makes sure we are good and satisfied with the service. When we're not enjoying $5 handrolls during happy hour, you can catch us ordering everything off the dinner menu Haha. It's that good! From the lobster yuzu crispy rice to the green tea moshi dessert. My favorite has to be the spicy blue crab handroll and king salmon nigiri! This place is like an a la carte omakase. The chef makes the food right in front of you and he'll make sure to let you know that you only have a minute to eat your handroll before it loses its crunchy texture. (The 5 handrolls for $40 is the best way to try them all) We probably get that every time. I love the ambiance here. It's sleek and lowkey. It'd be hard to run into anyone that's not a local and I love that for the neighborhood. Soon enough everyone will know about Bondi. A place that services high quality sushi with extraordinaire service is a hard thing to gatekeep! Hopefully we are able to do brunch here. The menu looks superb. All you can drink sake?! Count me in!

What an incredible dining experience; cute ambiance; whether you choose to dine inside or out. We were greeted by Luis, who was warm and welcoming (I can't stress enough the importance of customer service). I was feeling adventurous and quite hungry so instead of mulling over the menu, I simply asked Luis to pick anything that was able to please my palate; from sashimi to sushi and hand rolls and truffle, it was great! Closing out the dining experience with the chocolate soufflé was exquisite. Chef Henry and the team were great and it was worth the drive. Also, be sure to check out their upcoming openings in Wynwood, Brickell and Fort Lauderdale. Enjoy!

During my recent trip to Miami Beach earlier this month, I decided to give Bondi Sushi a try. Located within walking distance from the Mondrian hotel where I was staying with a friend, Bondi Sushi caught my attention as a chain of sushi restaurants, with other locations in NYC.Opting for convenience and intrigued by the 12-piece omakase tasting menu priced at $75, my friend and I eagerly settled in for our meal. The menu boasted of creative twists on traditional sushi, such as caviar on o-toro, truffle on chu-toro, and avocado on eel.The presentation was commendable, and it was evident that the chef put thought into each piece. However, one downside was that the pieces were served in clusters rather than individually, which detracted from the opportunity to fully appreciate and savor each one.Despite the promising menu, I was surprised to find that my friend and I were the only patrons in the restaurant on a Sunday night at 8 pm. The interior of Bondi Sushi was not particularly large, but I had expected to see more diners given its location and reputation. On the bright side, the service was excellent, with both the chef and server being friendly and attentive throughout our meal.Overall, while I enjoyed my experience at Bondi Sushi, I'm not sure if I would return if it weren't for the affordable omakase option. While the creativity in the dishes was admirable, the overall dining experience didn't leave a lasting impression that would compel me to revisit. I'm inclined to explore other sushi spots in Miami for my future visits.

I was excited to try Bondi Sushi. I've since ordered take out twice. Both times I had the spicy tuna crispy rice ($12) and one time I had the miso soup ($6). The first time was a lot better than the first. The rice was crispier and the tuna was fresher. The soup was also tasty and a good portion. The second time I had the crispy tuna the flavor was a bit off as was the texture. I do think the portions could be a bit bigger for the price. I'll still give it another shot and try other items on the menu! They have the food ready quickly to pick up. They also have dine in which looks very nice with indoor and outdoor seating. Definitely will try it as well!

Really enjoyed dinner here! The rolls are fairly priced and they're filling. The truffle avocado with cucumber was such a treat. The spicy edamame lived up to its name. Would definitely come back!
