Bombo Italian Kitchen

We ordered the focaccia, Burrata for apps, the paperdelle pasta, and a Margherita pizza to share family style. The focaccia with burrata was great! Wish I got more focaccia it was that good. Paperdelle bolognese can't go wrong with and the classic Italian pizza

A bit on the fence about this review. I feel like it's more of a 3.5 star experience but I'm rounding down to 3. Came for lunch with a couple of colleagues on a quiet Friday. The restaurant wasn't busy and we were seated promptly. I love the decor and can see it being a good spot to come in the evening. Both of my colleagues ordered the Caesar salad and were a bit disappointed to find that they don't offer much in the way of protein add ons. Seemed like a bit of a missed opportunity there. While I didn't try the salads myself, they seemed fine and my colleagues didn't mention any complaints. I went with a classic pepperoni pizza which was good, though not amazing. This is the second downtown restaurant that gives you scissors to cut the pizza yourself. I think it's an interesting novelty and can see why people would enjoy it, though I'd rather just have the pizza already cut. Overall, it was just an okay experience. I'll be back to try the pasta and maybe a few other menu items and will update the review if things change.

Great food, great ambiance, pretty good service, but downside is... there is a 22% dining charge just for dining in at the restaurant for an hour. We ordered the Carciofo to share and the Tagliatelle for a solo order. We all loved our food. One thing we liked about the pizza was the vegetables were soft and was a mild flavored pizza, great combination. Good melt on the cheese and the crust wasnt hard. My friend liked the Tagliatelle because of the flavor of the pasta sauce. For drinks I ordered the Coffee Run, it was a strong whisky flavored drink with a good twist of bitters. Overall, despite the great taste and good service, we are not coming back. The 22% dining charge was an additional $20 to the bill.

Especially if you're at the convention center anyway, this stop has a upbeat enough vibe to be both a casual drink spot, a date, or a business meeting. The staff are fun and friendly, and apparently love Avatar the last airbender. We enjoyed their food and service so much that we ate there twice in one day.

Finally stopped in this newer downtown spot for restaurant week. The value for what you get was great just the food fell short. I'm a huge fan of chef Ethan Stowell and his restaurants but this one was very bland. Still would consider a second try. Pros:- great location, recommend for conferences or work functions- attentive service - beautiful restaurant, open concept with bar- broccolini appetizer was so goodCons:- food:Tagliatelle was over cookedHazelnut cake was dry and lacked flavorPanna cotta was similar to pudding from the grocery store overall this spot missed the greatness that chef Ethan's restaurants have.

Can't believe I just found this gem of a restaurant right in front of the Paramount! Deron and his team were so wonderful, service was perfection. the food so delicious, and the ambiance very chic and cool. We had the beef carpaccio, the focaccia, the truffle pizza, beef cheek lasagna, the bolognese and the apple dessert to finish up a spectacular feast of a meal. We can't wait to visit Bombo, Deron and his team again very soon!

The salad was great. It is definitely large enough for two people to share or get it as just your meals my friend and I split it. The pasta could have used more sauce but it was good the noodles weee light and it wasn't super heavy. The staff was friendly and gave great recommendations. The restaurant is located inside the convention center so it was really convenient to grab a bite in between sessions. It could get busy but there is a section that is opens you are able to see people as they walk by.

Over the past two months, I've been frequenting Bombo once a week. The pizzas and and bar on the lower level is what keeps me coming back. Pizzas are the perfect size (not too big or small) and the sauce reminds me of the pizzas I used to devour when I was living outside of Naples. As for the bar, it's a great open space, lounge style. They have floor to ceiling glass walls, cool big booths and theres a nice long bar. The service is great too and the bartenders make great cocktails. Also, they have a very decent bourbon selection. They even have Blanton's Gold. Lastly, Bombo serves a great rib eye. It's pricy, but damn tasty.

The food was fantastic. The focaccia was worth a second trip. Drinks were great. Staff was friendly. The place is super cute.

Bombo is a great place to come for dinner. Great service, and fantastic food and cocktails! DeRon was awesome!
