I can't recommend this place enough! The sweets are paid by the pound so keep that in mind, but they are all good (except for the spaghetti looking stuff)

Great portion sizes and very flavorful. It's a great spot for vegetarian Indian food and all the desserts you can imagine. We love the samosa chaat and the dosas here. There is ample parking and the service is very quick.

I think this place is so awesome and a 5 star review is well deserved but think the service could be nicer. It isn't a fancy place but every single item is very good! We go to Indian places not knowing what things are so we usually just end up ordering a bunch of random things to try and take home knowing there is no way we would finish things. Pani Puri is the best here in my opinion and prices are very reasonable. Would come here more if I live closer!

I never liked this place because of the quality of the food they used to provide in the past. I returned to this restaurant after 5 years just to give it a chance. We decided to purchase Khoya from this place to make desserts at home. We specifically mentioned that we want khoya without any added sugar. I bought the khoya from them and later realized that its sweet. And it was not just sweet but sweet to a point where you can feel that its khoya in sugar. It was a cheap khoya with lots of sugar added. Total trash. I was right to hate this place and i am not going back especially when there are better stores around.

Best place for Indian sweets and Chats in the whole of Houston. Go to place in Hilcroft for sweets & Chats. Used to love their buffet before covid. Unfortunately, they closed their daily buffet. The only minus point is for not providing enough golgappa pani for the golgappe/pani puri plate. The pani is insufficient if you want to fill all the puri's to their capacity. Have to always order extra pani paying $3. Would be great if they increase the quantity of the pani puri water.

I used to come here often prior to the pandemic, back in the day I remember paying 50 cents for each samosa and the price was given up front even posted as an individual item. I went back yesterday for a large order of samosas and never actually received a price per item. Price is not announced. Anyways, I was charged roughly 2.5 usd per each samosa and ordered 24 ( total was 60usd). Food is delicious, but I have a bad impression with the price not being announced, and more than double what it was in years past. Inflation may account for some of it, but not double or quadruple the price. Now, I am not so happy about coming here. It is a bit overpriced for vegetarian food in my honest opinion.

I visited Bombay sweets three years ago, I never expected that the sweets are so much superior in quality, flavor and texture, than any other Indian sweets locations I visited in states. I would recommend Bombay sweets to anyone who wants to experience the real sweets!!!, if you are in Houston Texas please visit and enjoy the delicious food. They have restaurant and all is cooked fresh. The service is amazing, professional, courteous and friendly staff. The ambiance is amazing, place is clean and all the items are nicely organized. I live in Austin Texas and go there every few months. Please take my word and visit with family and friends, ENJOY!!!

This review at Bombay Sweet is based on my recent experience when I ordered sweet's takeout. It didn't start well with parking situation. Then, the person helped me gave me wrong item. The employees behind the counter didn't seem to be bothered. Maybe because I don't look like their kind. Very unwelcoming. Comparing this restaurant with Raja Sweets, Bombay Sweets has more desserts and standard priced deli food. All items were labeled clearly. However, employee who helped me kept asking what I wanted. I said the name out aloud and pointing with my finger, she gave me wrong item anyway. Flavors were good and tasted fresh. Unfortunately, I couldn't get what I wanted. I don't think I want to come back to try it again. So, no. Not coming back.

I very rarely review restaurants. But this one requires special attention.I ordered samosa chat, paneer pakora and aloo tiki. Paneer pakora was as hard as a rock.Aloo tiki was soggy.Samosa chat tasted terrible. The worst was the aftertaste. If you don't want to do honest business then you should not be in operation. Terrible. Stay away!!!!!
