Came here for a hangout which was a meh experience. We arrived on a Sunday in the midst of their drag show, but since they only had about 30 minutes we decided to not purchase the $30+ ticket. I've heard their brunch shows are super fun and you could hear the audience going wild even inside the bar!Bartender assigned to the bar that day seemed very dismissive. Very non-engaging and more aligned in chatting with their friends. We ordered two appetizers and one of them came out super quick. The buffalo cauliflower bites looked like they were flash fried from a frozen bag. The second one was their hummus with pita crisps and that definitely felt a little more fresh from the kitchen.Biggest issue though was us checking on the hummus after about 25 minutes for the bartender to then state we never made the order and even inquired if I made the order with him. Kinda odd of customer service but that's what we received.Hummus finally came out after 40 minutes altogether. Once we got the check the automatic 20% was added but the bartender seemed very quick to outline that. Felt like a sure fire way to hide behind the poor service and the fact we weren't drinking alcohol. I'd probably say this place is great more so for drinks solely and the drag show than coming in simply for a bite.

Came here for the Drag brunch with our friends! We made a reservation ahead of time. Though it was sunny and hot, we still made the most of it! The buffet was great with many options, just make sure to grab it before the show starts. I waited for the line to die down but then it was tricky navigating there during the show. Servers came around to take drink orders, though not as much throughout the show. The drag show was fun, and people came around before the show that you could buy singles from (via Venmo or breaking larger bills).

Went to Drag Bingo on Saturday! It was definitely a fun time. Wish there was more options to the buffet tho. But hands down best beef empanadas. The patio is fully tented with tons of air flow, fans, misters. It didn't feel like 100 degrees outside with all that going on. The bingo and show was fun. Would def come back when it's cooler tho.

Disappointed to see they changed their happy hour! Bohème was my go-to for a frozen mojito and their viet fries. The pricing used to be by the hour from 4-7. So if you got there around 4:30, it was $4 for drinks and apps. They got rid of their hourly prices and just increased the price overall :/ They also changed their menu around a bit. I tried the buffalo cauliflower that I would absolutely not recommend. It was not edible. The cauliflower was soggy and the flavor was sooo acidic. Would recommend sticking to the viet fries only. The mojito was good as always.

Amazing drag brunch. The food was great for a buffet and the show was spectacular. Will definitely be going back.

I recently experienced the drag brunch show this sunday and it was really awesome. I had seen Sin City at the hamburger Mary's drag show awhile back so I was super excited that she would perform here at Boheme. When we arrived there was already a line that had formed so, if you are thinking to purchase tickets to this event, make sure to get there earlier so that you aren't waiting forever in the buffet line. The buffet was not bad, there was a wide variety of food to choose from but I did not like that when I asked for brisket, I was only given one small slice so I had to ask for more. It was only my friend and I and there aren't very many smaller tables for parties of two so we had a really small table that was sort of in the way so people kept bumping into us while in the line for the buffet, I think it was table 30 if I'm not mistaken. The plus about the location of our table was that we were in a good spot for the performers. The mimosa glasses and the wine bucket that our carafe was in were dirty and I realize that it's hard to keep things pristine but for dirt to be on there is not ok. The show was absolutely amazing and it was a really fun crowd, so my overall experience was really good but next time I go I will make sure to book a table for 4 people and get there early.

Cute cocktail bar for a happy hour! Been a few times and love their frozen cocktails. Also have yummy Vietnamese fries. Lots of outdoor seating so it's easy to meet up with a larger group! Service was prompt and staff was friendly.

Got invited here by a friend to meet her friends and enjoy some adult beverages. I drove past this place before a few times and it always caught my eye; glad I got to stop in here and check it out. It's kinda small but inviting with seating at the bar, outdoor, or in the lounge with the sofas and cushioned lounge chairs. Outdoor seating has some fireplaces/heaters to keep you warm in case Texas decides to freeze over. Now for the cocktails, they have a variety of frozen and handcrafted drinks that the bartenders/mixologists take pride in concocting and would make any customer blush with endearment upon it's first sip. Prime example is the moulin rouge cocktail, served in a champagne coolie with a roasted rosemary garnish. Very easy to drink with sweetness from the fruit and bubbliness from the champagne. You can also do what my friend did which is order the frozen rose or frozen mojito; both are easy to drink and tasty although a bit too sweet for me. The bohemian empress was another drink I ordered that had a purple tint due to the st germain, cloves and rosemary garnish. Also a pleasure to sip with the combination of gin and indian tonic water.Didn't try any food here although the menu looked appetizing. Definitely next time when I'm in this area. Also enjoyed the action of sitting outside next to the fire and chatting it up with people while also people-watching and silently judging. But good thoughts since I had good beverages and good people surrounding me!

If you believe in supporting local drag THIS IS THE PLACE to visit. Boheme was the first establishment I found that offered a 3-in-1 experience of brunch, bingo AND a drag performance on a Saturday. My aunt loves to play bingo, she couldn't wait to come here. I made reservation for 4 - a week ahead of time. Before I continue, PLEASE REMEMBER TO BRING cash to tip the dolls. Parking: ARRIVE EARLT for good street parking. I heard a few cars have been broken into so park at your own risk. I parked directly across the street. The inside bar is small but quaint. People were seated in the bar area until the patio doorsOpened. Tables are assigned based on your group size. Heaters were evenly placed around the patio, blankets were available upon requests. There's NO separate brunch menu. Everyone MUST participate in the $28 brunch buffet experience. No need to fear. The food is good, items you'll find on the buffet: fruit and yogurt parfait, French toast, empanadas, fresh fruit, breakfast tacos and more. Beverages are NOT included in the brunch menu price. There is a SERVICE CHARGE of 6% so don't be shocked. THE EXPERIENCEThe drag show started a BANG! After the first drag show the bingo cards and markers were distributed. The Queens know how to work a crowd. Both of the dolls engaged with the crowd and kept the energy on 1000% the entire time. Did I mention my aunt loves bingo? I had two 70+ elders with me who enjoyed playing bingo. One of the aunties even WON A BOTTLE of rosé. Will I come back? Absolutely. I hope to lose my voice next time and lip sync while throwing glitter or rose petals. My other aunt turns 82 next month and wants to come here to celebrate, clearly everyone in my group had a great time

BEWARE. This was one of the worst brunch experiences of my life- as an actual group of gay men (and trust me, we were one of the only groups of gay men at this establishment), and from out of town, we had high expectations for Boheme on our last day in Houston which was recommended by several friends. We attended the Sunday Brunch for a birthday party. Unfortunately as the gays do, several of our group of 10 were too hungover to join, but we mustered 6 to attend.Slightly weary of the "buffet breakfast" idea, we assumed at $50 after tax and forced gratuity, the cost of a filet mignon at a nice restaurant, it would be an upscale buffet? We arrived to everyone lining up as soon as they arrived to a huge snaking buffet line, but figured we'd wait until the line dies down. Surely at $50 a pop, they'd have plenty of good food to go around? NOPE! After getting in line with our first drink, we arrived to the front of the buffet line to find empty bins full of unwanted food. They were completely out of the biscuits and gravy we'd all said we most wanted. The rest of the food was ill presented, cold, and something out of a continental breakfast at a Day's Inn. The pictures speak for themselves. I guess this explains the mad rush of the locals for the buffet line, but as out of towners with no warning, we were left to the scrapyard.Upon asking if the biscuits and other food would be restocked (sorry, they're out! Shoulda got in line sooner), they brought out a few extra unwanted dishes and made "special" appetizers just for us (fries with sriracha squirted on top and what appeared to be a sub from White Castle - see pictures). At $50 a pop we were all left feeling completely taken for, and it ruined our morning. We decided to close out early and head elsewhere as the drag brunch was not really for gay men (we felt like the only group there), it was more of a bachelorette party kind of place. Upon closing out, (and mind you we also spent about $200-300 additional in drinks and pitchers), we were informed that they would be charging us another $200 ($50 each) for the 4 people that didn't show up!!! OUTRAGEOUS. We had tried to change the reservation earlier but they wouldn't let us within 24 hours, but figured with the buffet running out of food they couldn't possibly charge us for people that didn't even attend it. The manager Saylie came over after asking to speak with her, and she was downright rude and condescending to us, refusing to not charge for the 4 people that didn't show up even after our experience and how much we'd spent on drinks. Her words? "If we do it for you, we'd have to do it for everyone" - yes Saylie! I would expect good food and if expectations aren't met for you to make up for that, for everyone. After persistence she only charged us for two additional people, but we still left feeling swindled and she glared at us menacingly until we left the brunch, we did not feel welcome. Don't forget service is not optional and brunch ended up costing close to $150 each.Sad that we have to give at least one star, but I'll say it was for the Frozen Mojito pitchers which were great, but not worth stomaching any of this food or the service. If you're a group looking for your fun delicious Sunday Brunch, AVOID! Be aware that if you book this place on a whim, you're locked into $50 a person no matter how many you show up with 24 hours before. Go patronize one of the many actual gay establishments in Montrose that isn't using drag queens as bait to take advantage of unsuspecting customers with a cheap hotel breakfast.
